The work is authorized by the top management or lower level management. The resources we use in the firm of any kind of organization. I'm not saying the organization is a properly of a uh uh retail management or some production management or any other management. Simple. [00:24:30]Assigning of the job or the work by the department actually different job position in your firm guys and each position is given to the person only similar that like this if I'm talking about the store keeper store keeper definitely is not involving in the production he handles or he have to look after the store very important very very very important important supervisor work is very clearly supervise the workers there's a person actually who handles the workers accountant simply handle account and clerk means maintain record so there's a assignment of duties that is very very important in the firm now the delegation of authority so guys sir means what sir sir means what sir tell simply sir the assignment of duties in a simple Simple words we give duty to the right person only. Simple in any firm you have to give duty to the right person. Now store keeper looking after store. Now accountant people handle account. Now that is the main thing. So the very important we give duty in this process.

Don't worry we have a hierarchy of a different structure reporting relationships and communication channels within the organization like MD person in my company is not going to instruct the worker worker above the worker there's a person who call supervisor supervisor give order now yes or no there's a hierarchy yes or no so guys it outline the hierarchy key reporting relationship communication channel is important in your firm if there's a problem with the worker the worker report to what person he's going to the MD person or director person no is a hierarchy level so structure is basically that by clarifying the roles the responsibility the structure helps to establish clear lines of authority decision making promoting efficient coordination and the control that is important sir how how this possible from the example I'm going to understand. Wait for that. It also facilitates effective communication calibration by defining information flow and channels by the example I'm going to discuss it. So guys there are various organization structure in the firm.

[00:30:52]So organization structure how actually very important this line is very important how an organization is organized because in my organization various people are working and the level is is different different there's a top person again I'm saying this there's a top person staff members line managers supervisor worker foreman departmental head many people. So guys there's a order now who will report to that person or the responsibility the communication level in what manner. So these tells us line functional line and staff. So please careful is a traditional and straightforward organ structure with a direct chain of command. Direct chain of command. Just look at this image. Just look at this image. This image helps to understand the concept.

[00:32:51]There is a top authority here according to this line organizer. There's a general manager top of the town below there marketing manager, production manager, finance manager.

[00:33:12]The top authority is what? General manager. Below that marketing manager, production manager and financial manager. Different different department different manager. But the top one is GM. Just take the example of PM. PM means production manager. Below the production manager, we have a four main and the last but not least there is a work. So guys this is simple what the flowing look at workman to report that person foreman to report that person and production manager to report that person that is important.

But here we are not going to discuss the government also because the immediate superior of that person there's a government person now there's a defense minister now but here I'm not going to deal with the defense minister simply the army structure army structure that's why it is what simple simplicity well suited but when we are talking about the country level or the world level the main person come to the picture. [00:39:24]Functional organization means what? Is a type of organization in which work is divided into different departments according to function or specialization.

[00:39:44]Each department where are actually in the functional organization we have different department. So each department is going to handle by the expert. Like example of departments in the firm we have a production department, a finance department, marketing and HR department.

[00:40:11]R&D manager, finance manager, marketing manager, whatever type of manager and the main person is president, top of the authority guys.

So guys features what we have a department wise structure in the functional organization actually work is divided into the departments like marketing finance and HR specialization actually employees become experts in the specific work because we have a separate department and clear reporting clear reporting is what he is the main so the people who work in design part the people who work in development part The people who work in testing part directly report to their R&D manager. That is the meaning that is the meaning teamwork.

He collect the main person of the uh testing department, the design department and the the department which is under the R&D team work to achieve the main target. Employees in the same department work together in the better efficiency for that. Now suitability this type of organization large organization suitable for the companies with many department and employees.

So line authority gives direct order instruction example production sales. The staff authority advice to them what line manager. So guys in a big company we have a combination of line organization staff organization.

[00:42:52]Example of a factory. Let's take example of factory. Very simple example [snorts] in an in a factory there's a production manager. Yes or no? Production manager control the workers only. Huh? But HR is also there for HR is also there. Now HR expert helps in what? Recruitment. Huh?
