Her contributions to research are equally remarkable. She has authored numerous papers in reputed international journals and conferences, presented her work in countries including Italy, Malaysia, Indonesia and United Kingdom and has served as a reviewer for prestigious international journals and conferences.

But what you may or may not know is that all of you have AI in your phones today and it is part of your everyday life.

[01:05:00]Even the minute of things that makes things better for you is AI. So let's just see how AI is there with you right now. So for example, let's take YouTube.

[01:05:13]So how does YouTube suggest you videos?

[01:05:16]Like you would have seen or Googled something and then next minute when you would open YouTube you would find uh videos related to to that topic popping up on your dashboard. So how does that happen right? That's algorithm but that is AI.

[01:05:36]So AI is not um it it's not something that is always associated with uh total you know huge things like robots and stuff. So AI can be even the smallest of things which makes things easy for you.

[01:05:52]So that is in YouTube. So you could see AI in Google maps as well. So how do you know that there's a traffic junk that is there ahead? How do you know that this road is blocked? Yeah.

[01:06:05]>> That's right. But how does Google tell you that there's a traffic jam ahead?

So yeah, like he said, Google knows how many phones are stuck at the same place at real time and that's when it tells you that right there's a traffic jam here or maybe some people are there who are reporting there's a road block here. So that's how AI is so closely you know integrated are associated with day-to-day life. So but let's see what is the difference between normal systems and AI systems. So let's take for example your calculator. So your calculator just does one thing. It calculates whatever equation you're throwing. But can you call that AI?

So AI systems keep learning with every input that you give.

[01:07:54]So every information that you give to AI maybe you prompt it in charge or your claw everything helps the AI to become better. So that's the difference. So now we have just you guys will just see AI in your screens or in small places of your applications but this is operating at such a scale that no single human can ever manage it. So for example imagine tens of millions of computers or servers running AI models 24/7 throughout the year. Imagine that energy consumption. Imagine that uh scale at which it's operating. Imagine the load. Imagine the amount of you know uh users who are using it at every second of their lives. So that is where it is scaled today and that is where it is scaling forward.

[01:09:00]So but how does it learn? So in the sense does anybody know how does AI learn? Right?

[01:09:07]So that's a fancy term we learned today.

[01:09:09]Machine learning. Okay. So AI learns the same same way as you. So maybe when when you are young uh your parents, your teachers or someone told you, "Yeah, this is a cat. This this looks like your sushi roll or this looks like your burger." So but imagine someone pointed that object to you and told you right.

[01:09:34]So they pointed you at burger but they told this maybe uh something else. So maybe it's a pizza for example. So you will go forward and learn that this is you'll associate this object with pizza going forward and you will not know it is a burger or truly what it is. So that's how even AI learns. So it learns the way you learn. So we learn with the simplest of examples but since AI is a machine it's a program it's an algorithm it has to learn with millions of examples it needs so that's what it is but when you prog when you pro you get a response from AI right so what do you guys think that is like do you think AI is actually responding to your question or do you I think AI is just giving you some vague answer that it has not.

So for example, you would see today's maybe CSK versus RCB's match or something and you will associate that with previous matches and you'll be like okay RFB has won so many times, CSK was so many times so this match also will be like this. So what are you guys doing there? You guys are actually predicting that who might win. So this prediction with a very higher accuracy is your AI. So everything that your AI gives is predictions. They are not actual form of intelligence but the accuracy is so high that you guys will never find any you know answer that is uh not exactly responded to your question. So that's what AI does. So the scale like I said it's very huge. You have tens of millions of servers running and running of AI models. So even your smallest of prompt that you give to charge will consume a lot of electricity.

The model is the same but the way it has learned the inputs or the examples or the data that is given is way different from the normal AI that you use. So when you tune your AI to a specific use case, it becomes much better at that. So for example, you teach your AI to only you know learn about food recipes, cooking, how do you maybe the techniques of slicing a vegetable and other such things and your AI becomes good at that.

[01:13:47]So it's it's actually a digital representation of you. So we have one brain so does AI and it does many things. It can write, it can code, it can teach you, it can maybe create you something.

[01:14:05]So write you an essay and all of it. So yeah, so that's the same thing. So AI can if let's say you got stuck at a very hard topic at school and you wanted to understand that maybe for tomorrow's exam you have clarifications or you have some doubts but how do you get answers very quickly let's say you just want to ask about this and you want to know so you guys just ask that question to Google or AI and you get your response So that's the training and we'll just see a 2 minute video.

So now when you when we talk about asic AI, it actually performs things for you which has an effect in your real life. So for example, you wanted to uh just type a prompt and get an email to someone. So that's what agent AI would do. Let's say you wanted to type something and you would get that done working. Maybe it could be a website, it could be a huge software, it could be even maybe something like a diagram you want to generate. So when AI becomes reactive and more and more proactive also that's where you get agent it more becomes another extension of you but doing things for you while you are maybe focused on something else. Maybe you have a very important uh meeting to attend like my presentation today for example and I wanted to get some notes speaking notes on this. So I just gave my presentation to AI and I told what are some quotes or what are some you know uh topics that I could speak on using this as my presentation. So it would give me some examples and I would take inspiration from that and speak about the topics. So this is how you can integrate AI in your uh day-to-day work.

[01:18:41]So this agent so what's next? So coming to the end. So by the time maybe let's say you maybe we are on 8th 9th and 10th standards right now. So let's just go a few years forward. Let's say by the time you graduate your degree. So what could become normal in everyday in everyone's life? So you could have maybe a small your college would give you a small AI tutor which would help you revise sessions, revise classes and all of it.

[01:19:17]So you would now let's say people wanted to create a medicine formula that is not there today. So instead of taking years to do the research that time could be cut short into maybe weeks or months. So maybe you wanted to you started your own company or you wanted to build a full-fledged product but you also don't want to hire a big team or invest a lot of uh money or you know scale that way for the very first time. So you yourself could sit and build your own product and scale it up to all your users. So that's what AI could do and that would be something uh everybody would be normalized with few years down the line. So but what has become let's say people used to tell don't use AI before don't maybe some of you were getting answers to your projects or something like that with AI and then they told don't use it so but today AI is becoming a necessity in your jobs as well so you might have heard that Oracle may have laid off 12,000 employees 12,000 engineers. So, but why is that?

[01:20:42]So, it is because they want people who can do things 10 or 20 times faster with the help of AI. So, AI is becoming a necessity today and it could become very normal or part of your curriculum going forward. Not just about the way it works, maybe even how to use AI to the fullest. So imag let's say you just take some homework. So you could go and find out about agentic AI and what it can do for you. So let's just say you installed one of the agent AI and you asked it to create a website or maybe you are a designer and you asked it to create maybe a post which you put all your creativity towards. Sure you could try that out and then yep future is not something that happens to you. It is something you build. So for example let's say you thought something is impossible today. Something is very very hard to do today. But what if you had someone who had all the answers to and you wanted that someone to be multiplied by 100 times and you can build that entire thing out. So that is AI for you.

[01:48:30]When you install an app on your phone, everybody uses App Store or Play Store, correct?

[01:56:18]Once he drops the kid at school, he immediately files a police complaint and tells them about all these information.

[01:56:25]The app is tracked and it was stopped with a kidnapping of the same kid.

[01:56:34]So should I blame the kid for using the app? Should I blame the father for letting the child use the app? Or should we blame the developers for using it as an opportunity?
