[00:00:00]Hello. Let's talk about flu vaccine today. So, when is flu vaccine recommended? The flu vaccination starts when the baby turns 6 months. Two doses are given at 1-month interval, and then the flu vaccine is given yearly till the baby turns 5.

Common cold and cough is caused by the other viruses like adenovirus, rhinovirus, and many more for which we don't have any vaccine. But, taking a flu vaccine in the recommended age group prevents the risk of serious flu-like infections, pneumonia, dehydration, reduced hospitalization, and a better response to infection if it happens.
