Toyota dealerships are offering significant discounts primarily on pickup trucks (Tundras at $8,000 off, Tacomas at $5,000 off) while smaller vehicles like Corollas and Camrys receive minimal or no discounts, reflecting the current market conditions where Toyota faces less competition in the pickup truck segment but struggles with pricing on smaller vehicles; however, dealerships continue adding $1,400-$1,500 worth of add-ons like nitrogen-filled tires even when advertising discounts, which reduces the effective value of the advertised savings.

Toyota Dealerships Getting DesperateAdded:
$8,000 off this Toyota Tundra. This is what Toyota dealerships are having to do. The one dealerships that give the least amount of discounts, which are Toyota dealers, but there's a catch.
Because you still got $1,400 over here worth of add-ons. And it literally says, "Nitrogen filled tires." You got to be kidding me. 73 grand after they're done with it, 74. But then they have $8,000 off. This is what Toyota dealers are doing. It's only on certain models though. To so to get the eight grand off, it's going to be a Tundra. You know, you're not going to get eight grand off on a Corolla. It just is not going to happen. But at least they actually have some Corollas over here in stock. Let's see here. 31 grand. This is a Corolla. This is top of the line Corolla though. So what do you expect?
But in today's market, there's not much competition in these Toyota Corollas, Camrys. Everything's so dang expensive with every other manufacturer. Even Toyota. The one credit I give Toyota is no $100,000 vehicles. I can go to every brand and see a $100,000 vehicle, but not a Toyota. And then you got this Toyota 4Runner switch to a four-cylinder turbo, which is really unfortunate. And 51 grand, but there is still a J in the VIN. Built in Japan is super super super important. But this time we're in Oklahoma City. We are at Post Oak Toyota. Well, the thing about it is I've just heard story after story about this place. All sorts of things where if you buy this warranty, you'll get a special rate. All sorts of gimmicks that they play. I've heard story after story. But hey, I will give them credit here.
Almost every Toyota Tundra has $8,000 off, but it's still I mean, there's still an add-on sticker over here with nitrogen filled tires. So I think that, you know, whatever credit they get, they get it taken away because of that. Crazy, man.
Crazy. 64 grand, but then you see eight grand off. This is kind of where Tundras are at. The biggest discounts on a whole Toyota dealership, 100% of the time, it's going to be a Tundra. You let The only vehicles that I'm seeing Let's see these Tacomas. I highly doubt they have these stickers over here, but let's see.
Maybe they do. 8 grand off a Tundra.
That's the market we're in right now.
Let's see. Okay, okay. I was wrong. I was wrong. Look, okay. 5 grand off Tacomas. Wow, man. Imagine this 3 years ago. You know, you didn't get no discounts on Toyotas. So, it really shows the market that we're in. 54 grand. Yep, they still have nitrogen-filled tires. They still have all that stuff for $1,495.
So, 1,500. 54 grand for that four-cylinder Tacoma, which is unfortunate, man. This thing should have a naturally aspirated V6.
But wow, Post Oak. I'm surprised. Out of all the Toyota dealers to actually put discounts on the window, this is the last Toyota dealer that I would expect to do that. So, even the Toyota Tacomas had $5,000 off. Do you think it's enough? Is 5 grand enough? I think for a lot of you guys, you're like, "No. This is not enough." But hey, up front on the window, it shows they still have $1,400 worth of add-ons. So, how does that make sense? You're advertising 5 grand off on the window.
Don't you think it's time to take these add-ons away then? If you're advertising 5 grand off, but they probably want you 5 grand off of here, but you need to be 5 grand off here, and actually 5 grand off up here. So, then you really get down. You're getting down to 42 grand for a TRD off-road, which is still too much money, man, for a four-cylinder Toyota Tacoma built in Mexico, which if it's a Toyota, I want it to be built in Japan. Japan, Japan, Japan. Give me a Toyota built in Japan every single time.
And they actually did have a few Corollas in stock. Now, the smallest discounts are going to be on a Camry or a Corolla every single time. 27 grand for this one right here. Corolla LE sedan base model right here.
Don't see any discount stickers on the Corolla, of course. It's just not going to happen. Or on the Sequoia, which is kind of surprising. I thought they would give, you know, 5 to 10 grand off of that, but almost every single Tacoma and almost every single Tundra has discount stickers on it, which is something, man.
5 grand off Tacomas, 8,000 off Tundras.
Is that enough for you? That's the question of the day. The dealership still doing add-ons even though they have discount stickers on the window, literally on the trucks. But still, 8 grand off, man. They have a long way to go when these trucks are so dang expensive. So, 8 grand off of 64 grand.
Is that enough? You know, is that enough? Let's look at this Prius here.
Cuz even these things can get kind of crazy. 36 grand, which that that's not as bad as we've seen. 52 miles a gallon.
Yeah, definitely getting good gas mileage. 38 grand for this Toyota Camry, 2026 model. Of course, though, no discount stickers on anything but the trucks, which shows the market Toyota's in. Toyota dealers are loaded with pickup trucks. But the question is, is that enough money off? Let me know what you think. Have a great day and stay blessed.
