Somalis Call South Africans Lazy....So THIS HAPPENS!

[00:00:00]Somali's just made one of the largest mistakes that you can make anywhere in the world as a foreigner, especially in South Africa. I know a lot of people believe in this whole concept of one Africa where Africa should be borderless and we could all operate in this certain element of flat blackness regardless of our own ethnicity. There's no more Nigerian, there's no more Ugandan, no more black American. We're just all African or all black. And on the surface level, that sounds good until people are fighting for resources cuz when the resources is low, all that pro blackit go out the door. Trust me, >> he's right, you know.

[00:00:46]>> And another thing that you don't ever want to do when you're a person living in a foreign land is to literally talk crap about a certain community while you're there. And listen, you could be right about what you're saying, but that do not mean that you won't get your ass whooped. Now, this has been happening with certain people in the Somali community that I've been seeing around, and it's not just them. I've seen other Africans do it, too. But let me explain what I'm talking about.

[00:01:15]>> Stop creating trouble for foreigners that are trying to look for opportunities and that are trying to create better life for themselves. Okay, this foreigner came from their country with nothing. They did not have anyone in South Africa that wanted to help.

[00:01:32]>> Okay, so before we get into the context, these foreigners came to South Africa from nothing. So what happened in your own home country? This is something that people don't like to talk about, but you don't want nobody to hate on you when you're coming from a place where your own country should have provided you these resources. And this is why it's going to get tricky and you're going to find out >> they started from scratch. That Somali person was working day and night or that foreign person was working day and night. Okay, you South Africans know to work throughout the week and by the end of the week you spend all your money. By Monday you have nothing. You'll be borrowing money from random friends or random people. You understand? We are not like that. We are disciplined. We do not drink. We do not do that. Okay.

[00:02:22]>> Okay. Let's say this is true. I've also heard let's say I saw a documentary in the 70s about um Indians in Uganda. They were saying the same thing about you know African Ugandans that they were lazy. They spent all their money all the time. Let's assume that this is true.

[00:02:39]The last thing that any citizen wants to hear is for you to call them lazy.

[00:02:45]Especially if you work day and night, you come from nothing as you say, and then you do better in their country. So, I guess in her honest opinion, this may come across as tough love, but this is probably going to result in hostility, which could lead to an ass whooping or even more because I've heard people say that about South Africans before. I've heard folks say it about Ugandans before. That doesn't mean that all of them are lazy. They say it about black Americans. Sure, you you can have this situation all over the world, but nobody wants to hear it, especially from your ass.

[00:03:28]>> We came here because we left families in our country. Families depend on us. So if this foreigner person makes something out of themselves tomorrow, you be like, "Nah, how did this person do this?" No. Ask yourself, why are you still stuck in this life?

[00:03:46]Why are you still the same person as yesterday? Ask yourself that the problem is not foreigners. The problem is you South Africans. So please stop creating problems for foreigners. Okay.

[00:03:58]>> Okay. So listen to how she sounds. Stop creating problems for us because you're the reason we're here to get the bag from y'all's country. We don't seem like we're here to try to help you with your problems. So just leave us alone so we can keep saying how lazy you are while we're supporting our people in our country that doesn't give us the same opportunity.

[00:04:26]How do you expect somebody to accept that? And again, where is the leadership in y'all in your communities? Um especially I got to say this unfortunately the Somali communities. I hear so many things like this in America. I hear it in other places and it's not received. Well, where y'all elders at? Y'all don't talk to y'all people about making these kind of statements and how much hostility you're going to receive when people do see you make statements, especially if you are really successful. It's just one of the dumbest things that you can actually do.

[00:04:58]And that's for anybody who does it, not just them, because they're the ones going viral for it right now. But if you happen to be Nigerian and say it, I've seen Ganaian say it. You're putting yourself in a lot of risk and and other innocent people, where are you going to get your ass whooped or something or even worse? Nobody wants to hear you run your mouth. Be successful and shut up.

[00:05:21]Okay? You ain't got to throw it in people's faces. Get your ass over there.

[00:05:27]Do what you're doing. Stay out of people's faces and keep it under wraps. How about that?

[00:05:35]>> The problem is not foreigners. The problem is you South Africans. So please stop creating problems for foreigners.

[00:05:43]>> Now, this isn't the only incident that I have seen with Somali speaking like >> that. At least we know who the father is. Yes.

[00:05:52]>> So I've heard Somali say similar things about black Americans. There are people who do not know their fathers. And so now you have a Somali young lady saying, "At least we know who our father is because you South Africans do not know."

[00:06:07]Again, I I want this channel to be a educational resource because guys, I I've made some mistakes in talking to other people's groups. And at 45, even if I feel like saying certain things now, I just don't cuz it's not going to do. Nobody's going to receive that. Well, okay. Th this young lady is at least young, unlike the other person that must have been in her 30s or 40s, had absolutely no wisdom.

[00:06:37]Somebody should tell this young lady to stop doing stuff like this. She's on TikTok literally insulting South Africans in their single motherhood rate, which it is definitely high. But again, this is nothing that no one wants to hear from because if your people are so great, people are going to want to know why is your country where it's at.

[00:06:56]If you're gonna talk like this, >> where's your country? SHUT UP. HEY, SHUT UP. SHUT UP. SHUT UP. WHERE IS ZIMBABWE?

[00:07:03]WHERE IS SOUTH AFRICA?

[00:07:05]>> I will. We will. Not only will we come to South Africa, we will dominate your own country. Shut up. We will dominate your own country. We will come to your country and we will outperform you.

[00:07:14]Imagine in your own country, you're being treated like a dog. Fetch doggy.

[00:07:21]>> We will come to your country and dominate you. Let me say this.

[00:07:28]the hostility towards certain people in the Muslim world. And it's not just Somali, right? I've seen this in like um I want to say Irving, Texas. People are saying they are fearful of the same kind of we're going to come over and take over everything.

[00:07:48]That is what people the stereotype is about Muslims in general um African Muslims in particular that you are here to change everything and take over stuff that doesn't sound like pan-Africanism and one of the groups that don't really participate in this whole idea of pan-Africanism is Somali from what I understand Somali are more or less we are Muslim first uh Panaffrican ideology is at best secondary ary or tertiary. So now we're going to come to your country and again this doesn't mean they all feel like this. But again this sort of stuff is going unchecked. So you know that for her to talk like this there must be people around her that this is a conversation that somebody is having this conversation about others and so she has just picked up on it and she's bold enough to talk about what's already being said in certain parts or elements in the community. Okay. So, let's get back into this.

[00:08:50]>> Imagine you're saying to us Somali people in our country, yes, we're doing business. We're doing business in in in South Africa. Cry about it. Wah wah wah.

[00:08:59]And we're taking all the good schools from your your South African kids. It goes to the Somali children.

[00:09:03]>> This is something I've heard about. In fact, I did a video about this where yes, the Somali kids are replacing some of the South African kids and they can't go to school. And this young lady is bragging about that in their face.

[00:09:18]See, see this kind of hostility that's going on in South Africa.

[00:09:23]Oh, you got to love your brothers and sisters. You got to treat them fair, but the white man ain't doing this. See, when you don't see these nuances, like I don't think this is uncommon as we think it is. I think a lot of this is actually common because if we can experience this in America from certain foreign groups, then it makes sense that foreign groups can go into South Africa and have the same sort of what I would consider overestimating your leverage. Okay. As if somebody wanted to say this and not do something to you. Yeah.

[00:09:57]>> Yes. You know why it goes to the Somali children? Because we have better economy than you guys in your own country. IN YOUR OWN COUNTRY. DON'T THANK YOU.

[00:10:12]>> We have a better economy than you guys have in your own country.

[00:10:17]Now, we have uh certain black Americans that live, let's say, for example, in Kenya. That's in East Africa. That's kind of our base. Now, got some that live in Uganda. Do we have on average a better access than somebody that is living in Uganda?

[00:10:36]Sure. For me, I earn money in dollars.

[00:10:39]Most of our diaspora group, poundfor pound, our diaspora group is probably pound-for-pound our smallest ones. We have a small group, but I can put up our diaspora group against anybody in in Africa. And we can raise money. We can do things. We don't have problems at all. Right. We have pretty good professionals in our diaspora group and not all of them live in Uganda. Some come in and some come out. Well, no, we will never say we will never talk like this to anybody.

[00:11:09]And and the reason is because there is no there's no purpose for that unless you want somebody to rob you or to whoop your ass. That's the only reason why you would want someone to say that because you want your community to be targeted.

[00:11:25]Now the the next thing we want to talk about is no accountability. All right, just listen.

[00:11:32]>> I'm from actually I'm from Kenya. I have 24 years in this country. I don't have even ID if I've been in Europe for 4 years to be a citizen. I have two children here. My two children in >> this man is saying I've been in this country for 24 years with no ID. I have two kids here in South Africa.

[00:11:56]It gets worse. Trust me.

[00:11:58]>> My last check is in traffic there. I've been stay here for 24 years here. I've been arrested more than seven years.

[00:12:05]Seven times in this country.

[00:12:08]24 years. I don't have even idea and now you can come and make me like this. What is that? We have children here. Everybody say I must move in here and wait my children going to go even like now I'm telling you I'm with my wife according to my situation.

[00:12:32]>> This guy is saying 24 years he's been there. I got children there. You guys have interrupted my business. What am I going to do?

[00:12:43]As shocking as this sounds, anybody who lives in a first world country, this is not uncommon ideology in Africa. This is quite normal for what I have seen. I've met many people, talked to many people who think just like him.

[00:13:05]It is not anybody that lives in Africa, you live in Kenya, you live in Uganda, you live in Nigeria, this person is not uncommon. And so you put this, you take the person like that and you drop them in somebody else's country and and you have that level and I'm going to be honest, I I got to I got to tell you how I feel. That's a low level of intelligence right there. No awareness of your surroundings. You've been there illegally. You've been arrested seven times and you still believe that you should be able to stay there even though you are not legal, which means you don't pay taxes, you're not contributing. Now, this kind of person and what else does he do there? Is that person doing crimes? He's probably more likely because he can't survive. He can't get a real job. He's illegal.

[00:13:55]So now when you add all of this up, it also paints a different narrative of certain nuances that that we don't know. But imagine that you got foreigners that could be talking like the Somali we know or a guy like this who feels completely unaccountable that he's left Kenya which is not a bad country to come to South Africa, have kids there and then not be able and wants to stay there.

[00:14:23]How do you deal with that? It's really a fight to the bottom with some of these people. And so if they get some level of retaliation for that and people get upset about it, it's South African's fault to a certain degree. Now I get that they that they definitely are doing way too much and they have to bear the brunt of that responsibility whether they are arrested or somebody who retaliates against them. Fine. But that right there is ridiculous. There is no way on God's green earth you can tell me that people that move to South Africa that are like that are not going to put themselves in extreme danger. And there are a lot of Africans that have that mentality. A lot. I'm here for myself.

[00:15:10]I'm doing better than you in your country. Stop hating on me. We came here for nothing. You're lazy.

[00:15:18]Now go. Now, let me tell you this.

[00:15:20]Imagine a South African going to Somalia and say that. You probably wouldn't even you probably wouldn't even live to see tomorrow because Somalia somebody's gonna play. No, no one would ever go to Somalia even dares talking like that cuz you already know what will happen to you. So guys, what do you think? Am I reaching in the episode?
