Disability is not a shield against legal accountability, especially when one's actions compromise public safety and order. This case underscores that the rule of law applies universally, regardless of an individual's physical circumstances.

Added:All right. What's going on?
>> Then just go ahead and stand up.
>> I can't stand up.
>> I can't stand up. I have a broken foot.
>> Yeah, they did have to evacuate the hotel. So, >> on June 11th, 2023, a woman in a wheelchair allegedly pulled a fire alarm at a local hotel, but she didn't stop there. She went around to different businesses and raised hell.
>> Hello.
Pretty good about yourself. Um, I'm just a little pissed on and pissed off, but I'm getting over it.
>> Okay. What happened?
>> Um, well, I didn't realize that the pharmacist wasn't going to be there until like um 11. So, I guess, you know, there's very few doctors left because, you know, not enough smart people to, you know, get a medical degree or whatever. But anyh who, so when I went to go try to fix something over in the photography area so that I could print out a photograph, um, the two younger ladies Well, like we don't cut things here. And I'm like, okay. So then I went to the other computer because I was trying to fix the cord so that you could like plug it in and like print out pictures >> and you know cuz sometimes it takes like a half hour to figure out what picture you want to print out. And then all of a sudden um there's like this big argument is ensuing because I'm trying to help someone that really doesn't care whether or not she sells any pictures at all.
>> Mhm. Okay.
>> So the whole thing is kind of, you know, stupid.
>> Mhm. So, I was just trying to like fix something.
>> Well, the reason why we're out with you should be around >> um is they didn't call.
>> Okay.
>> Were you over at Fairfield in when you left there or did you go there first and then go to CVS?
>> I was just looking around like I was thinking, well, I wonder how much this place costs and then when I went and saw the stairs, I was like, I'm out of here.
I'm not I'm not staying here.
>> I got you. I got you. Well, they want you barred from that Fairfield in.
>> Not a problem. And you just hold tight and stuff and we'll get you on your way as soon as they come down. Okay. All right.
>> Appreciate your patience, Lenny.
>> What's going on?
>> Then this guy comes running up.
>> No, no, no, no. Talk to me. Talk to me.
Talk to me.
>> This young guy comes running up in my face like he knows me or something. Hey.
Hey.
>> Yeah. I ain't seen you seen that guy on camera.
>> Okay. Barely on camera doing it and scaring me. No, that's how loud he was.
>> Okay. Well, don't because >> he was that loud. He scared me. So I was like, "Okay." And you know what I mean?
Like people are >> bring it down. You're getting all >> No, but people are strange.
>> Okay. Well, okay. Well, they're strange, not you, right?
>> Walking clean the parking lot.
>> Probably me going Who's Which one of y'all here to bar her?
>> Yeah.
Don't I mean it's strange, but I mean I don't like >> I I don't think on someone >> I don't think it's strange, but but don't fall into their their their level of yelling and and raising sand and stuff like that and yelling. Okay.
>> I'm sorry.
>> Okay. All right. Just let her know you can she can be barred. I'm sure they bred people, but >> they can be barred up to a period of two years.
>> And everything was scared. They thought it was a fight.
>> Yeah. The hotel come out.
>> Did um >> there's no damage or nothing to the hotel?
>> No, it was no fire. We're just trying to figure out like >> the question.
>> Who are these cats?
>> They work at the hotel. The manager coming.
>> Okay.
>> Telling me about >> I got you. I got you.
>> Got you.
Where you from, ma'am? Anywhere and everywhere?
>> Not anywhere in Georgia. I'm not from Georgia whatsoever.
>> How'd you get here in a plane?
>> Plane. Okay.
>> And then like find the marine a taxi.
>> Huh?
>> If you want to go ahead.
>> I mean, it's been a nuisance for a week.
you just like rolling around and just getting barred from everywhere.
>> Yeah, I guess people just, you know, don't like the look of me in a wheelchair. Maybe. I don't know.
Whatever.
>> Or maybe you're the issue as far as just like rolling around >> ass out of town. Maybe I should haul ass out completely out of the state. I agree with you.
>> People are being very hateful on me. I don't >> you just like not go places and >> really don't >> cause a disturbance.
>> Well, I really don't care. Really don't.
>> You'll end up at the hospital with her for a while, but if you want to go 1095 with her, we won't have to deal with her the rest of the day. But it's up to y'all or up to you what you want to do.
So, >> you're an adult.
>> Whatever issues they have, those are their issues. I've got some issues I got to take care of. I don't have time to keep hauling off of all of my belongings constantly. Hey, how you doing, sweetie?
>> Until you pulled my fire alarm.
So, you know, >> did they have to evacuate the hotel?
>> Yeah.
>> You're causing you evacuate the hotel?
>> I No, I said disrupted.
>> Oh, no. I mean like what what alarm went off? Was it >> just audible or?
>> No, the whole fire alarm fire department.
>> Everybody walked out.
>> Oh, that's a different story now.
>> Yeah.
>> Oh, the fire department got called. Did anybody come out of the hotel?
>> Yeah, my all the guests. Well, good.
>> Don't Don't interact with her. Don't even interact with her.
>> Yesterday on the nuisance of a crosswalk and her inability to use it.
>> If you argue with her, it's like talking to that pole right there. Nothing's going to get through. Go get as much syrup as you can. Whatever is the bottles.
>> Yeah.
>> Keep the receipt.
>> You got it.
>> Yeah, I'm good. Thanks, guys.
>> Elizabeth, >> this all your stuff?
>> Uh, no. This is it.
>> Okay. All right. Pull yourself down to my car.
>> Okay.
>> Okay. I'm at the >> I don't understand what's going on. Can you please explain to me what's going on?
>> As soon as I get down to my car. Let's go.
>> No. I want to know now.
>> What's going on?
>> Then just go ahead and stand up.
>> I can't stand up.
>> I can't stand up. I have a broken foot.
>> Really? Is that why we see other offic >> I can do two years.
>> Okay. Yeah, >> it's yellow.
>> It's She is a uh she she has some mental health concerns and we've been out with her for like the past 3 days with just nuisance type things. But now since she's going to your hotel and pulled that fire alarm >> you got to get up.
>> I can't.
>> We've seen you walking back.
>> I can't walk. Yeah, the fire department came.
>> Um, everybody's standing outside.
>> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. You didn't have to evacuate, huh? Yeah. Because it's that's that's what's >> We thought it was the toaster.
>> Walk.
>> Let me see your back.
>> I walk on one foot.
>> You're going to give me the bag.
>> That's not an option.
>> Come on. Hop on one foot and get in there.
>> And you got me on my You got You got on.
>> We have a toaster in our breakfast area.
>> Yeah. Yeah.
>> And I checked the pull station. It says first floor. Then Dennis, um, one of these gentlemen, he's my public areas man.
>> Yeah.
>> He's like, "No, it was a woman in the wheelchair." I watched the cameras.
>> Sure enough.
>> Gotcha.
>> Do these.
>> That's not happening.
>> That's not happening. The only way I'm undoing those is when I put them on your back. Also, officers have seen you walking around digging in stuff and you've been able to put weight on.
>> I go on one foot like this.
>> Okay. Well, then >> like that.
>> I will hold you up and you can hop on one foot over here.
>> Well, she's going to go to jail.
>> That's not making anything any better.
Now you got to go past that.
She's been messing at a couple businesses yesterday, messing with the customers and stuff and just being a nuisance to people. So, but now since she's done this, she's going to go to jail. So, and I'll tell her she's barred for two years, so you don't have to interact with her and stuff. Do you want a case card or something?
>> Does it fold?
>> I'm sure it does in the middle. I'll see if it something.
>> Um, no, it's >> good. Okay. All right.
>> I appreciate you.
>> Hope you have a better day.
>> It's not starting out.
>> Yeah, >> I am not playing that game yet.
>> It's not starting out good.
>> Yeah.
>> Hey, nice.
>> Uh-huh.
>> So, that was the lady when at the >> she been Atlanta highway nuisance and then she got over here and we've gotten multiple calls.
>> They actually had to evacuate >> over when we were at Ogthor.
>> Yep. They did have to evacuate the uh >> hotel.
>> Can you sit back there or >> No, yeah, just sit on top.
>> Yeah, they did have to evacuate the hotel. So, >> Oh, >> sorry, Hardy.
It's what happens when you uh don't have a you don't have a pin in it.
>> Doesn't have a pin in it. So, >> the pin must have got ripped out or something.
>> There you go. Well, oh, that's okay.
>> That's why it is right there.
>> Yeah. I wish you wouldn't my wheelchair in my [ __ ] life.
>> Your wheelchair's fine.
>> Yeah, wheelchair's bull.
>> That just trash you.
>> Yeah. All right.
>> Sorry, man.
>> All right. Well, we're going to go I'll go 108. So, and uh I'll I'll dust you off.
>> It's all You need probably take when you get done, go to like the west and >> I'll go to east.
>> Pop it off or something like that. So, Let her go.
>> Yeah, they did have to actually evacuate the >> Yeah, >> the hotel. Everybody was outside.
>> I was like, we're not I'm not doing this in her >> and she saw it on video.
>> Look at all these. She didn't need all these. Walked into a business, took everyone.
>> Yeah. She's been a constant nuisance. As soon as it said wheelchair, I was like, uh-uh.
>> You want to have Tesy meet you over there and search us again?
>> Uh >> to be safe.
>> Yeah.
>> Okay.
>> Cuz I don't think she's doing anything with drugs. She has sick, but you'd never know.
>> Yeah. after what's happened with the past two incidents at the jail. Yeah.
>> Oh, no. Absolutely. Well, anytime I >> 2230 to 2373, >> could you assist uh with search of a female force, please? Again.
>> Oh, wow. I heard it.
>> I didn't even see it. I thought the wheelchair might have had a rocket on it.
>> She came down that she came down. I got I caught her right when she got just before she got to the crosswalk. She was in the road. So if you want to go that one too. I saw her. So I mean >> Oh yeah. I mean she literally was told yesterday if I got back out with her and she was in the road she's going to jail.
>> I saw her in the road.
>> Told her that the couple days before gave her a warning.
>> I saw her cuz she was coming down the hill in that wheelchair.
>> I'll write the citation. Another 40 code citation um and leave with that. And then just say it goes with the warrant.
>> Yep. That'll work.
>> We didn't Yeah. I didn't call the cops cuz she ended up leaving. But she had a box cutter out trying to cut our like charger off the kiosk.
>> And then when I said something to her, she like went off cussing and screaming and we got in an argument and apparently she was in our uh store last night throwing bum at my coworker.
>> Do you?
>> So she's been like causing Yes, >> because she was calling.
>> I just say no back and forth. You just tell her and I'll get her name and stuff.
when we get to jail.
>> Okay.
>> Okay. Yeah. Cuz we were going to call if she did it again.
>> But now that y'all have arrested her because of that, we figured we'd go ahead and >> that was literally like >> Tell me how long you want to park for two years.
>> Up to two. Yeah. Two years at the very least. Yeah.
>> What's your name, ma'am?
>> Yes.
>> Okay. All right. He'll let her know when u if she shows up, even if if you guys got camera cameras inside the business, even if she shows up and she's gone by the time we get there, I just have to see footage from inside the store and she goes to jail for being >> Okay.
>> Already being trespassed.
>> I appreciate it cuz she's been causing a lot of problems.
>> Okay. Yeah.
>> All right. Hope you have a better day.
All right. See you.
>> All right. Horny with a fire thing.
>> Yep. I thought she had done it for a minute. You still have bad leg.
>> [laughter] >> Hello.
>> Hello again. Um, sorry. Apparently, this is going to become a theme because I guess where we've had other ships that are letting things go into the jail, it shouldn't be going into the jail quite often.
>> Okay.
>> Um, and so we're just trying to make sure we cover our faces.
>> Um, the other thing is she is handcuffed in the front because she was in a wheelchair.
>> Okay, that's fine.
>> Um, she says she can't step on her right foot, but I called BS on that. I've seen her use that foot to move the wheelchair around >> and everything else, but it's nice.
>> She's just standing. Um, but it is in the front, so there's no reason she can't hold on to the door, you sir. I just want to let you know before you're like, "Oh, what the hell?"
>> Yeah. So, it's just her trespass charges.
>> Uh, no.
>> Does she have drug charges that I need to be >> No. So, she's got uh she pulled the fire alarm.
>> Oh, fun.
>> And evacuated building and pedestrian in the roadway.
>> Okay.
>> Um, and they didn't want to press charges, but she apparently had a box cutter trying to cut one of the things off at Walgreens. I don't know.
>> So, damage, >> but no, they didn't want to. They just wanted a bar. So, it might have.
>> Okay. I was just making sure it wasn't electric. Hi, Miss Carla.
>> Hey, on this on this foot, I cannot walk.
>> I've told her. So, all you got to do is hop out on that foot, hold on to the door.
>> Okay.
>> She's just going to check you, search you, then you're going to get back in my car, and then we're going to go to the jail. That is it.
>> Okay. Is there anything on you, you're not supposed to have anything that's going to stick or poke?
>> No, ma'am.
>> Okay. All right. And you're telling the truth cuz if we find anything or they find something at the jail, you'll get another.
>> Okay, that's fine. Any drugs that you're No. Okay. Are you wearing a bra?
>> No, ma'am. No. So, I'm hauled with it.
>> Okay, that's fine. If you could you Yeah.
All right. Are you wearing underwear?
>> No, ma'am.
>> No, it's okay.
>> And it's just the belt that you're wearing?
>> Yes, ma'am.
>> Okay. I'm let you hang on to that. And then you got Are those like biking shorts?
>> No, they're like long johns.
>> Long johns. Okay.
>> Yeah. Just going through. Do you have another little pocket on this side or is it just that one?
>> I couldn't tell. I just got it.
>> It's just that one. I mean, I don't even know what's mine anymore. I just know everything I freaking bought is in somebody else's poss.
>> Okay, you're fine. All right, Miss Carla. Take a seat back in.
>> All right.
>> All right.
>> So, she broke it above the ankle.
>> Okay.
>> Yeah.
>> It would be a little bit more going >> if she's moving the wheelchair with it.
It's not broken.
>> Well, it's not enough.
>> The suspect was booked for false fire alarm and pedestrian must walk on sidewalk if provided. She was released the next day on a special conditions bond of $1,250.
