Which World Are You Choosing to See?Added:
We have reached lesson 145 of the workbook.
This is a review lesson.
And the central thought that accompanies this section is My mind holds only what I think with God.
Two ideas are reviewed today.
Each of them, when truly understood, has the power to completely change the way we see ourselves and the world.
Lesson 129.
Beyond this world, there is a world I want.
There is something beyond what the eyes can see, beyond the noise, the confusion, the constant feeling that something is wrong.
The course is not asking us to deny the world we see.
It is inviting us to remember that it is not everything.
There is a world that corresponds to what we truly are, a world of peace, of wholeness, of unconditional love.
And that world is not far away. It lies beyond the perception we choose when we believe in separation.
When we open ourselves to this possibility, something shifts.
Not necessarily what we see, but the way we see it.
Beyond this world, there is a world I want.
Lesson 130.
It is impossible to see two worlds.
This idea confronts us with a choice.
We cannot at the same time see a world of fear and a world of love.
We cannot at the same time believe in separation and experience oneness.
The mind can only move in one direction at a time.
What the course is saying is simple.
Wherever we place our attention, that is what becomes real to us.
If we choose to see guilt, we see a world of guilt.
If we choose to see God's love, the world begins to reflect that choice.
It is not possible to see both at the same time.
That is why the choice matters.
It is impossible to see two worlds.
The course suggests we dedicate a few moments today to these two ideas.
Begin with the central thought.
My mind holds only what I think with God.
Then reflect on each of the ideas in the lesson, allowing them to be quietly received.
There is no need to analyze them.
Simply receive them.
If the mind wanders, gently return to the central thought.
Without judgment, two simple ideas, but transforming.
There is a world beyond this one that we truly want, and it is already waiting for us.
And since it is impossible to see two worlds at the same time, we can choose, right now, which world to see.
My mind holds only what I think with God.
May this thought be with you.
Thank you so much. Until the next lesson.
