[00:00:14]Social media shaming has become a very serious problem in our society these days, where people shame, criticize, even insult each other as if they did nothing wrong.

[00:00:28]When you share a video of shaming someone online, you are a part of the problem.

[00:00:36]Even when you comment badly, when you like a shameful video or a shaming video, or even when you share this video, you're considered a part of the problem, too.

[00:00:51]Social media um companies and even influencers are considered the great great part of this problem because they want the videos, those videos to become viral since they are getting paid by the advertising um companies and they are getting benefits out of this.

[00:01:14]So, these are affecting the victims, which are women, uh youth, and even political activists in the societies.

[00:01:25]The effects are are affecting those people a lot.

[00:01:30]They are making them unemployed. They are affecting the relationships with their friends, families, and even in their working uh in their working area.

[00:01:43]It is also affecting their mental health. They are becoming scared in society. They are being afraid to to get recorded by someone, which really has a great a great impact on their lives. So, we need to take this into consideration.

[00:02:02]We need to understand those people since sometimes it's not true the the the rumors that go on social media. They are not true. We can't We can't like believe anything we hear or see or even watch on social media since AI is taking is taking all over the world.

[00:02:25]So, to to find a solution, we need to do digital due process, which is that the government should take responsibility of this problem.

[00:02:38]The governments should help by using laws that take into consideration the victim's side of the problem.

[00:02:49]We need to hear the victim not just the video of shame of shaming this victim this accused person online.

[00:02:59]We need to know both sides of the story in order to find the truth.

[00:03:07]I really um hope you use the 24 pledge uh 24-hour pledge, which is you shouldn't like, comment, or even share any shameful video online before even making sure that this video is really true before even knowing the evidence before making sure that it's really true because you're really hurting you're really damaging the other's life. You're really affecting their life people's life.

[00:03:44]Please take into consideration other's feelings other's uh life in general and you should think that maybe it's going to be you. Maybe you are going to become the victim one day. So think without pressing the like button, the comment or even the share.
