[00:00:01]I actually want to go for another song by the band Vibe and it made totally sense for me if I react on this song Shopno Dad by Vibe. I go for it the cover song by Only Hasan as well because this was requested at the same time.

[00:00:17]This means we today going to react on both versions, the original and the cover version with Only Hasan.

[00:00:26]Uh this is what we're going to do today and this is with uh this is from a concert once again. It's not so long ago, 8 months it got released. So this is what we're going to do and you're going to see my reaction after the intro.

I translate the lyrics of the song and uh it wasn't very obvious for me what the song's about. It seems to be philosophical, maybe a little bit um religious and um with some uh Bangla references, I would say. Like there there are some words uh in there that are hard to translate, I think. Um let's start with the original one. Let's go.

[00:01:46]>> [music] >> Bro, that's hard right there. That that is like progressive rock, progressive hard rock almost. Um I really like the rhythm changes in here that are like they they're breaking up the schemes and uh the sound of the guitars is really really cool. It's like this really rough and distorted sound. Uh really really nice. I like the intro right here.

[00:02:57]There is there is some really cool stuff right here. I feel like there is some some parts that I like a lot about this.

[00:03:04]For one, it's how the vocal sound. They sound a little bit I even don't know how to describe it. First of all, the tones are like the the the altitude and the tones are really correct and um that the vibe I mean, the band is called Vibe, but the vibe created by the vocals is kind of like in I it's like a mess a little bit. Like it's it's um There's something's there's something wrong, right? With with the world maybe.

[00:03:34]Um, I'm I like from the drums as well how the drums switch tempo. Like the drums playing right here very much on point. It's perfect drum playing, but as well it's like these changes between the the fast parts and then um, taking out the snare, and, uh, that that makes like the thing feel slower. And these are these are like tempo switches. They actually aren't, but it feels they are tempo switches, right?

[00:04:06]Um, let's take a little bit look at the lyrics right here.

[00:04:10]We have it right here going.

[00:04:12]An unknown, unseen world of light, the meticulous weaving of the Milky Way and nebulae. I see all of these in an unfamiliar light casting reflections bound to the walls of dreams. So, this is where I thought, okay, it's somehow making a contrast of the human mind and the universe and how big the one is and how small the other is, and that the human mind can't comprehend how big the universe actually is, right?

[00:04:40]Um, and then the chorus goes, questions arise on my invisible wall, witnessing the wizard of the known and unknown in the end. So, basically how limited we as humans are, and there's like some unseen force that actually, um, makes the world turn around and decides what happens in this world, like the wizard mentioned right here. Here the reflection of all memories, the architect of the unfamiliar, the unseen goldsmith, the elusive aleya or will-o'-wisp ornaments.

[00:05:16]So, the lyrics describing this this entity that is that is, um, having the power over the universe as wizard, the architect of the unfamiliar, the unseen goldsmith, and the aleya. So, it's kind of this entity is working in the background and nobody has ever seen it. And then it says, oh god of dreams, hear this lamentation. So, this probably this entity should be god, and, um, Um, last line is actually a call out for um, for God like to hear the lamentation, right? And yeah, that's basically what the lyrics are about to this point.

[00:05:59]Um, it's it's pretty cool because it's a little bit philosophical. It has some terms in it that are hard to translate, but I really like it.

[00:06:08]>> [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] >> Yeah, I mean the whole song is very It is relying on the energy of the thing and as well on these like, you know, the vocals I I actually don't know like I have a hard time describing how how the intonation of the vocals sound, but it's somehow um, I don't know. It's like maybe it's spiritual. I'm not sure at this point.

[00:07:28]>> [music] [music] >> Well, the drums sound so good in this. Um I'm actually not sure. It sounded like there are more lyrics than I actually translated.

[00:07:52]I'm really not sure.

[00:07:53]Uh the second verse is all the collections within the dictionary of memories, hundreds of stars in the cosmos of time. Find for me the nectar of the heart to find you in the land of dreams. So, it's kind of a search for the entity.

[00:08:10]Um it is um a search for beauty in this universe.

[00:08:17]And um it once again describes how vast this world and the universe actually are, right? So, this is basically all we have in this uh in this second verse right here.

[00:09:03]>> [music] >> Oh, gosh.

[00:09:13]The thing is I know exactly why only Hasan is covering this song. It's exactly for this right here. Wow, this is such such a nice guitar solo. And two different guitars, at least two different guitars playing right here.

[00:09:59]>> [music] >> Man, what a nice what a nice rock track.

[00:10:08]And no, no it's actually, you know, I said it's progressive rock but probably it's it's rather in the metal genre, you know, if I if I you know I think if the guitars sound like that it should be metal and as well what the drummer did. It's it's rather in that genre, but I feel like that's a discussion because metal might be part of rock music anyway, so but I think it doesn't matter. Um we have the Oni Hasam performance right here.

[00:11:36]>> [music] [music] >> Okay, seriously, I think I think the guitar sounds is actually better than the original, but the I think I like the vocals in the in the audio from from the original one better.

[00:12:06]So, there's kind of like you know, back and forth good thing about bad thing. I don't know if it makes sense.

[00:12:44]They were actually there. They're actually there singing the lyrics, right?

[00:13:01]>> [music] [music] [music] >> You know, I don't know what it is, but I feel like the the um uh scale used right here, the vocal vocal scale used is actually the it sounds so perfect, and I feel like it's often that the scale is the reason for for the the vocals don't sound like I I call it gorgeous, right? Because like the tones are not working that way.

[00:13:52]But this scale they chose for the song is like it sounds pretty super melodic, and it just sounds really really nice.

[00:14:30]This is the reason why they playing this song, if that makes sense.
