CHSR Seeks Justice For Alleged Ajiran Murder Case

[00:00:00]The center for human and social economic rights CHSR is calling on the Lagos State Commissioner of Police to Johnny to demonstrate firm leadership by ensuring that the trial of suspects linked to the alleged murder of two indigenes Mr. Sheriff Salami and Prince Kazim Akinloye commences without further delay. The president of the body comrade Alex Amota who made the appeal at a press conference in Lagos also demanded that the suspects be promptly arraigned before a court of competent jurisdiction to enhance on impeded trial.

[00:00:32]Amota said the two separate incidents which occurred in April 2023 and August 2024 remain stark reminders of the grave threat posed by organized violence and urgent need for institutional accountability.

[00:00:55]Sheriff Ishola another son of the soil Ademola Akinloye the son of his royal majesty Oba Akinloye the Ojugo of Ajiroland was also murdered along the Chevron road. We we continue to cry for justice for the deceased. The principal suspect has been arrested.
