Happy Mother's Day / Gets Emotional / You Have To Let Resentment Go To Keep The Memories Alive

[00:00:01]Hey everyone, welcome back to the channel and welcome to a new day. So, I just wanted to come on here and wish all the moms a happy Mother's Day and all that includes all the fur baby moms. If you don't have human kids, you have uh fur babies, you're a mom, you're taking care of them. So, happy Mother's Day to all moms out there, fur baby and otherwise. And last but not least, definitely not least, I want to wish moms in heaven a happy heavenly Mother's Day. Uh to my mom especially, uh happy Mother's Day, Mom. I love you and I miss you so much. And to Ma Josie, which is uh Glenn's ma, uh happy Mother's Day, Ma. Um, >> Glenn Glenn didn't want me to at first to wish her a happy Mother's Day because he still had some aminosity or he still he still had some Glenn did not want me uh at first to wish his mom a happy Mother's Day because he still had some resentment um of things we found out after she passed.

[00:01:18]But I told him She's still your ma and not everything was bad.

[00:01:26]>> You didn't have, you know, bad things happen growing up all the time. You still have good memories of her. So, she's still your ma no matter what.

[00:01:36]She's gone. So, so he teared up as well.

[00:01:41]And uh so happy Mother's Day to Ma Josie and uh and to my ma and to all your heavenly mothers out there.

[00:01:51]Happy Mother's Day. So uh Glenn and I both have been thinking about our mas. I know I'm getting choked up, but >> it's Mother's Day and we're talking about memories. So, so the other day uh for Glenn's ma, >> so when Glenn was growing up, him and his ma his ma used to listen to real old classic country and uh and Glenn still listens to that. And the other day he was uh listening to old country, classic country, and he was thinking of his ma.

[00:02:25]So, so that tells me even though he had harsh feelings or resentment that his ma is still in his heart. So, if your ma is gone and you hold resentment, just let it go. And that's what I told Glenn, you have to just let it go. She's gone.

[00:02:42]She's still your ma. And you had good memories with her. So, >> so happy Mother's Day to Ma Josie and my ma.

[00:02:53]I love her and miss her so much.

[00:02:58]>> My mom passed in 2018, >> pancreatic cancer twice. She had it twice and it took her quickly the second time. But I have so many wonderful memories with my mom.

[00:03:14]So, just like Glenn was listening to old country music and thinking it was small the other day, I was watching YouTube videos this earlier this week and saw a video where somebody uh was doing a video in abandoned and shut down malls. So, I don't even know if there's malls out there that are active anymore, but uh this mall was completely deserted. uh clo stores obviously closed up and it got me thinking to type in the malls where me and my mom used to go and I wouldn't even recognize the malls anymore.

[00:04:00]But the mall we used to go through is still semi active actually. And when the person was going through, taking a video going through the mall, there was a big food court in that mall. And me and my mom used to go to the mall together all the time. And there was this favorite doughnut shop there. And they used to have the best chocolate long johns with custard inside. And they were just so neatly packed in there and just so good.

[00:04:32]And me and my mom always you when we went to the mall, we always had to have one before we left. So in this video, as I'm watching them go through the mall, I'm thinking about my mom and he goes he walks in the food court and right away I stop the video to see where he's at in the food court. Um because obviously that that place wouldn't have been anymore. But I'm trying to picture where that that doughnut shop was in the food court as he walked in and I said that's where it would have been. And then they showed the tables in the center and I'm pointing me and my mom would have sat right around there and I just started picturing us there. And so >> yeah, just wonderful memories.

[00:05:26]And I hope you all have wonderful memories of your ma, your mom's. And if you don't, I'm very sorry.

[00:05:36]So, I just wanted to say happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there, but especially my ma and ma Josie.

[00:05:47]>> So, I think I'm going to stop the video now cuz I'm just crying and uh So yeah, so that's that. Happy Mother's Day. So the video is coming up this week. Um, so today is Sunday and we this week we have pretty much been eating what we have in the house. Uh, getting by with what we don't have in the house.

[00:06:15]And but we managed to make some pretty good meals and stretch them out over the week. So, I showed you the Swedish meatballs, but I also have a couple other videos from this week that we managed to uh get some good meals out of. And today, tonight was um well, I won't tell you cuz you haven't seen the video. But, um we will be having a grocery haul.

[00:06:41]I'll be ordering groceries tonight from Walmart and they'll I'll just have them delivered in the morning.

[00:06:49]But so yeah, I mean I don't know why I'm just lagging on this video. Um I'm just still thinking about my mom and so yeah, a couple more videos coming up with food that meals that we cooked with what we had this week and then we'll have a grocery haul. I don't know if I'm going to show you the grocery haul right away or if I'll wait until I'm done with those videos, but it'll probably be a couple grocery hauls. And uh so tonight, actually, I wasn't going to go into what we ate tonight, but because you haven't seen that video, but I ended up making some enchiladas. You'll see all that in the enchilada video. Um, I didn't record making the enchiladas because that wasn't the point of the video. It was more of eat what you have and and uh making good meals of with what you have.

[00:07:48]But we were even out of eggs. We finished off the eggs midweek, so we haven't had eggs for the second half of the week. Um, and so we were craving a snack tonight. And what did we have? We had those packs of Martha White's muffins that we received in the friend mail. I don't know if it was like a month ago or something, but we saved them for these times where we don't have anything. Um, and it's not that we don't have anything. I just didn't have any eggs to bake with anything. And I know there's plenty of recipes uh that I could make without eggs. uh no egg ingredient uh recipes, but it was getting late and I didn't want to do a whole bake thing um because how my day went today. And that's why I'm getting this video out late tonight is I went out this morning um pretty right before 10:00 between 9:30 and 10:00 and I cut grass.

[00:08:53]I uh trimmed uh grass the edges. I'm just like a mumbling idiot tonight, but I trimmed and then I cut the front and that I was never able to go back out and cut it. Um so tonight, today was the first cutting of the grass. And then Glenn was still okay with uh bathroom time. So I still went to the back and started cutting the back. So I got about halfway done with the backyard. So the other half still needs to be done. I pro it's a little less than halfway done, but so I still got to go do that. Um and uh yeah, so I did do some yard work today. And what I came in about uh maybe uh noon or a little afternoon and we hadn't eaten. Then I went out without us eating because that's the best time I can get stuff done outside is um pretty much right right away in the morning when Glenn goes to the bathroom. I just go out. So, so I did that and when I came back in, uh, we ate lunch and we ate our last, uh, tombstone five cheese pizza. So, we had one more frozen pizza in the freezer. So, we had that for lunch to, uh, basically end off the weekend with lunch uh, before we could order new food. And so, we had that and we had uh, pepperoni in the freezer. So, I put some pepperoni on there and so we had a pepperoni pizza. Cost less than $5 or about $5 with the pepperoni I put on.

[00:10:42]So, we went through that. So, we we went through some of the stuff in the freezer this week and uh so for our snacks, I'm just like all over the place. Um we felt like having a snack. So, those Martha white muffins um because it was so late already um I just made those. I made I actually made two packs of them just so we could have some tonight and then have some tomorrow morning for breakfast or whatever. Um because I still do have to go out and do some yard work. So I made the banana muffin and the chocolate chocolate chip and I haven't tasted them yet cuz I wanted to do this video but Glenn said both of them are not bad at all. So, uh, so thank you for sending those sending us those quick muffin packs to make. So, all they take is like a half a cup of milk and it it was good.

[00:11:35]So, I'm going to have some right after I'm done with this video. And uh, but I am just like not prepared for the doing this video. But the reason this video was so late is after I did my yard work, came in for lunch, I reclined back, and I fell asleep for the entire day. I woke up or Glenn woke me up and it was a4 to 7 at night. I slept the entire day away. I couldn't believe I'm what? And uh but you know what? It felt good. It felt good to get that much sleep and and it was just Yeah. But now I'm awake. It's uh it's after 10:00 at night and I'm awake. But anyway, I took Gypsy out a little bit ago and uh I still have my hoodie on. It is still the real feel is only like 39° outside. Today didn't even hit 60. It was still in the 50s. Tomorrow is only going to be 46 degrees for the high and then looks like after tomorrow we get into the 50s and 60s. But as long as it's not humid, I'm good with that. So, as long if it stays cool, I'm okay with that. I'm really okay with that. So, all right. So, I'm going to end the video and stop mumbling um and getting everything all over the place. So, but I wanted to make sure I came on wish everybody a happy Mother's Day and uh and I hope you enjoyed your day. So, I got some sleep today.
