I had to have my tooth removed 😭Added:
Good morning. Welcome to a new vlog. Um, it's bit of a weird wonderful morning.
Um, I feel very weird. Alfie is at Manchester Royal Children's Hospital with Tom. Obviously, I would normally be with him. Um, but he didn't want me to go to A&E because of the risk of infection in A&E and with me being so heavily pregnant, which I do understand.
So, I'm trying to keep myself busy uh while I wait for an update. It is Becky's baby shower today. Jen's picked me up cuz Tom's got my car. So, we're going to go hopefully have a lovely hour or two.
>> Yeah. Good to keep your mind busy as well.
>> Yeah. And then as soon as I get a call, if they need to do a procedure, I'll obviously go straight over there. Um or hopefully, fingers crossed, the news that we want is that it's going to all heal up by itself and they're on the way home.
>> And they're on the way home. Yeah. Um, I'm sure you guys if you watched last week's vlog, um, or have watched any of Tom's vlogs will know what went on, but I'll explain it all properly later for you guys. But you can tell my brain's all over the place cuz we just walked in the wrong direction.
>> Me and you heavily pregnant.
>> I'm normally the one that guides it a little bit, but my brain is elsewhere cuz we were literally ins like half past 1 this morning and I don't know, the adrenaline of everything was just like Um, but yeah, here we go. Platform one.
Oh my gosh, they always go all out. Bump or bear belly.
>> Oh, that's so >> that's got to be a bear belly.
>> Absolutely.
>> The pie is still in full swing. I've just stopped the cake, but I've just had phone call. Hero daddy.
>> So, go on.
Our boy is the best boy in the whole world. He's just made a steal.
>> And they've literally just said >> holes in his mouth >> cuz he cuz he's managing to eat and drink and it's not massively bothering.
They're not worried about it.
>> I could cry. I'm so proud of him.
>> I the This is a vlog. There was blood pouring out of that gap and that cut in his mouth to the point where he was choking on it. as leading forward to >> I'm not being funny but the fact that Tom didn't film anything >> speaks volumes because there was >> no serious you do you do like you pretty even if it's an emergency it's like ha this will make good content there was not even a thought was there it was like this is serious >> dad mode fully engaged >> after a minute of that bleeding sensation and like of like how I feel like I've always instilled to him just be like you okay >> he cuddled me didn't he and he calmed down immediately >> and he was just like I I am all right.
He he totally right. But it was just when the doctor went, "OMG." Yes. Out loud. I was like, "I'm not risking not taking him to that place." And the fact that they cleared it, I couldn't sleep all night.
>> Super dad. And you brought me dinner.
>> Super mom for sure.
>> It felt so flipping weird not going with you.
>> Oh my gosh. Tom's just gone gone down to the baby shower cuz he's not been yet.
Hi, baby.
You okay, baby?
>> I'm so proud of you.
I love you.
>> Yay! Alfie made the party.
>> Not only did he make the party, but we've come down to the land and one of his favorite people is still here and he's taking him straight on the tractor.
Look. Oh my gosh, he's so excited.
>> Oh, look at him.
>> Good morning. Um, so step one of getting Alfie's room sorted this week.
We're so close to being underway. I had yesterday that I just needed to get the last bits of clothes out of the room.
Like this pile over here. I need to sort through this. Like it's my baby pregnancy ball, some bedding. Um that's a pile of like baby blankets and things.
And it just completely went out of my head yesterday cuz obviously it was a little bit of a weird and wonderful day with me like waiting for Alfie to get back. I was a bit all consumed. Anyway, that's not been done. It needs to be done, but I can't do it right now because I have committed myself to going helping with SATs, which I do every year for my mom.
So, if your child has been doing SATs this week, good luck. If you've got one day left, and I hope it's all gone well. Um, but yeah, I go and help um some of the children that have additional needs. I read the papers for them. Um, so yeah, I'm up extra early for me and I'm going to go and wake my Alfie up cuz he needs to be up extra early and go to nursery.
>> Was that a nice surprise this morning?
>> Yay!
We've done our bit for mankind. How well did the kids do?
>> Do you know what? I actually love doing it every year.
>> It makes me so proud.
They They literally work so hard and they're so proud of themselves and and every time they smash it.
>> They do. Uh but we're going to smash some lunch now cuz I'm flipping starving. So we've come to our regular haunt SK15.
>> Cheers babe. Cheers. It >> won't be long until we've got two little onins kind of floating about while we have our lunch date.
>> This is quiet week.
I'm excited. I've gone for the SK15 bagel, which is different for me. And you've gone for the halumi bagel. Oh, I'm not focused at all.
>> We're in a bagel mood today, aren't we?
>> Oh my gosh. I needed to be rolled out there. I'm so full now. Little walk around.
>> But we do actually need I need to get some food shopping.
>> Yes.
>> But we've just popped upstairs in M&S.
>> Baby M&S stuff is so cute.
>> Be rude not to have a quick look because we are having baby babies in just a few weeks.
>> Oh my gosh, I absolutely love this. But color, >> it's like so impractical for a not three that is in it. So cute.
>> Oh my gosh, that is so cute.
>> In a bit of a conundrum really cuz all of the stuff that's out at the minute is like full summer, like legs out, sun hat. And as you can tell by our attire, it's not really full sun hat weather.
Um, yeah. These babies are being born at a weird old time.
Maybe we should have bought some stuff before before the summer rains came out.
Pray for Pray for some, son. Pray for son. I'm so here for peie season. Mine are still all right, though. They are on their last legs, but I don't warrant buying a new set yet. My girl's going to be born in puny season.
>> Oh my god. We've switched supermarkets and we've hit the jackpot.
>> Saints brace too if it keeps on giving.
>> Oh my gosh. So, but I'll a couple of some pajamas and uh little Hot Wheels outfit. But look at baby girl stuff.
I've got vests. We need all of the vests. Socks.
These match the vests. Sorry, but how cute.
>> So cute. Um this we are ringing and naring about sizes, more vests, little short sleepsuits, and again more sleepsuits cuz they do live in sleepsuits for the first part of their lives.
>> Change them so many times a day.
Don't know why we bothered swapping clothes because can't stop buying them anyway. Well, I bought a few bits for baby girl. I bought some food shopping. I'm back >> reunited with my Alfie.
>> Mommy.
>> Are we going to go find daddy?
>> We are. If mommy can ever shut this door.
>> Oh no.
>> No.
>> Bulken.
>> Awkward.
>> Yes, we did it. Yes.
>> And we're off. Where are we going? Yes.
>> Should we get the Polaris?
>> No.
>> You want me to walk?
And hang on, we found our favorite people.
>> What's doing?
>> Wa!
>> That's so cool.
>> Wow.
>> Wa!
>> Look at that.
Baja.
>> He sayed look through the window.
>> The hospital visit really threw us off kilter and um >> our bedtime is now 1:00 in the morning.
>> Nap time 700 p.m. We tried so hard to keep him awake, but >> how to keep him awake when his little body needs to heal. Can we just take a moment for the fact that Tom's woken Alfie up? Fantastic. And I've been out doing a food shop for the majority of my day because at the minute it takes so much brain capacity to choose what meals we're having for the week. Um cuz I'm tired and uninspired. Um and Tom told me when I phoned him, I said, "Is there anything you fancy?" He said, "I just want to eat healthy this week." So, I bought like salmon, loads of veggies. I was going to do like an oro seafood dish tonight with spinach and loads of veggies in it. And yeah, I got to the land with Alfie and he said, "The lads are in Five Guys. Do you fancy it?"
He knows I'm a sucker. Oh, Operation Makeup Health is going well. And operation eat healthy is not going well.
>> Legend hero baby.
>> Alpie's like the pediper. The cows are following him. Should we bring them some bread? Be careful near the fence. Wow, you are stunning.
What's he doing?
Is that a >> Did she stick a tongue out at you? Did she go Now she's having a scratch. Wow, this golden hour.
We're so lucky. We did try and go home, but Alfie's got FOMO.
Don't know where he gets it from.
>> Oh, we're going into the fields. That's okay.
>> Which way, Alfie? Watch where you're going.
>> Watch that way a bit.
>> Left. Going left. Keep going. Keep going.
Keep going. Left, left, left, left, left.
>> How are we? How are we going to field?
>> Wait for this. Wait for these excited faces.
Oh, whoa.
Wa!
Is that cool?
Yet again, >> Joe's fan club.
>> Is your daddy so cool, Alfie?
>> Whoa.
His daddy is pretty cool. Good morning.
Another day of being up and out breakfast in the car because I was at school again today reading for SATs for my mom. So Alfie was unceremoniously yonked out of bed. He was going to stay with Tom this morning which is why he was so last minute because um he was still fast asleep at like4 to 9 when I needed to leave. Um but then I just heard some little footsteps coming and they shouted mommy. So I was like you can come with me but you need to come right now. So we got quickly changed shoved in the car class on on lap h and he's gone to nursery. However, Tom is picking him up shortly for a haircut, which is well overdue. And I am just trying to recover from reading for SATs cuz it's actually really hard work cuz you just want the kids to do so well and you feel so helpless cuz you can't really help them. And today's paper was the reading paper and it's always a little bit of a stinker because you actually can't really do anything. you just kind of try trying to prompt them to move on if they're spending too long stressing over a question. Um, so yeah, that was today. Tomorrow is maths.
Should be a bit nicer. Um, I can actually read questions to them. But I am Hank Marvin, so I'm going to make myself some dinner. I was going to make lunch and then the lunch fairy arrived cuz we have a new thing. We're we don't we still love a potato, but we are all about the meat and potato patty from Martin's Bakery.
I've absolutely burnt my mouth eating that pasti, but it was delicious.
But get yourself a best friend. Who brings you a Bavarian slice? I'm so excited.
Oh my gosh, they are so good.
Still messy. It's so delicious. How's the pastry still so flaky? Well, that was a quick lunch pit stop. I'm back out of the house. Um, I'm at the dentist, unfortunately. I found home this morning for an emergency appointment. Um, that same pesky cherry pip tooth that I bit down on a cherry pip and cracked at the beginning of my pregnancy is still causing me pain. And um, yeah, basically they don't want to do anything until they can fully x-ray it and check whether there's an infection, what's wrong with it. Um, and they can't do that until I've had this baby. So, I'm literally just biting my time, but this morning it was in agony.
So, I don't want to get like a full scale infection. So, I am coming in the hopes that they can do something for me because it's all right saying wait till the baby arrives.
But then when the baby does arrive, I don't think I'm going to want to go straight to the dentist. So, that's the predicament we're in. Let's see what they can do. That's what was causing me all that pain.
Well, that might have been a rash decision, but I told them to just take it out.
I can't fathom having constant toothache and a newborn. So, I was like, it needs to come out eventually. Just take it out. And honestly, I don't know if any of you guys have ever had a tooth removal. That was my first experience.
Do not recommend. Don't want to have it done again. Feel like I've lost a part of my brain. My mouth is numb.
And yeah, I'm just going to sit here and wallow for a moment.
I am in pain.
>> I'm very lucky that I've got these two looking after me.
>> Watching us just showing off my m there.
>> Looks good.
>> Yeah, >> like it.
>> I really like it. I've made an also seafood pasta riceish dish and I'm hoping it's soft enough for me to be able to eat some of it.
I think I can just swallow it if I need to.
>> That's what she said.
>> Alfie doesn't want to have tea with us.
>> But did he have daddy?
>> How long did he have for a nap?
>> Be daddy.
Who did it? Uh uh uh uh.
It looks like about stab you with it.
>> What I was trying to get on camera was Tom's reaction because he tried a bit of alpies.
>> I did it to like tempt Alfie to be like, "Oh, look how good the food is." And I tried it. I was like, "Oh my gosh, that's well good."
>> There's crayfish in here. By the way, we've got a very needy Alfie right now.
>> I know.
>> Going to go for the crayfish.
>> Phenomenal.
I love it.
>> Oh, >> is it good?
>> Yeah, >> I just made it up.
>> You could do that more often. That's That's >> I'll never be able to do it again.
>> Just want to keep it real for you guys cuz someone commented on one of my videos and said put it in the question and answer as well saying Alfie eats so well. My child doesn't eat as well. Blah blah blah blah.
What did he do tonight? Tom >> didn't want any of this.
>> He spat it straight out, didn't he?
>> Scream was like >> I always have like these taste bud pastas.
>> He's in the needy twos at the moment.
>> He is. I think he knows babysitter.
>> I asked him if you want to go out the plas. He went no. I said, "What Chris?"
He went, "No." I said, "Well, daddy needs to go out." He went, "No." He came through the front door and brought me back in.
>> Yeah. So, I always have some emergency ready meals in case he doesn't like what we're eating.
>> You like that one, don't you?
>> I also really rate these little dish meals and they've got a really good salvate on them.
>> Wait a minute.
I like my pants.
>> They're not daddies.
>> I like my pants.
>> No, no, no.
>> It's half past 6 and this is the first clip I have filmed all day. I am definitely not on my aame. There should have been a vlog going out tonight and I've just not filmed enough this week, but I have been at school for half of my day every day. So, this kind of kaoshed vlogging. Um, but yeah, I was at school for a long time today cuz there was two papers and I did it twice. So, I did four papers. Um, and then I ate dinner at school, came home and had a nap because I'm pregnant. I've just kind of finished cooking tea. We're doing tacos cuz that's what Tom requested. I don't really love a taco, so I've made me an Alfie jacket potato. But Tom has just said, "Is there enough for Joe and Chris?" The answer is no. Not right now, but there will be in half an hour. So, I'm going to do some fajitas. We'll have a bit of a Mexican night.
And yeah, hopefully there's enough food.
Do you know, I would say it's one of the things I'm most grateful to my mom for.
We always had a house where say like I've been out with Jen for the day. There was no plans for Jen to come back with me. And then at the last minute, I was like, "Mom, can Jen come for tea?" and she always always always was like, "Yep." And she'd make there be enough food even if there wasn't really enough food. Um, and I feel like that's kind of rubbed off on me. We can always make something even if it's too meals combined or if someone's got to quickly run out or you bulk it out with chips or anything really. But I absolutely love that kind of way of living. Um, I've never been in a house where it's been like, "Oh, no. Sorry, you can't come for tea. There's not enough food for food tonight." Um, yeah. Let me know your guys thoughts on that. What are your households like? Are they pretty flexy, easy breezy, the more the marrier, or is it like, "No, I've had a set plan of tea and that doesn't fit into my plans."
Alfie's helping me get ready for dinner cuz he's invited his friends around.
Your friends are late.
>> Dinner's on the table. They said quarter past. Can we zoom into that clock?
It is 7:36, but I'm eating a cold tea and neither is Alfie. So, we're going to eat and they can enjoy it lukewarm. Well, Alfie's helping himself to the cheese now.
>> Great table manners. Alfie.
>> I think his friends might be here.
>> BOBBY, >> THAT ACTUALLY DOES LOOK FAKE.
>> I know. I know.
>> I mean, I made it. So, >> Oh, I've been craving tacos for ages for some reason.
>> How does it compare to Taco Bell?
>> Thousand% better than Taco Bell. Really?
One of the nice tacos I've ever >> There we go.
>> He's concentrating so much.
>> Oh, are we tipping it out? Oh, there we go. He's not on.
>> Where's he going?
>> Can't go on the floor.
>> There we go.
>> Good morning. We have officially finished our working week um doing sats and I'm coming to pick my Alfie up who's been with his auntie Jen.
>> Hi.
>> You are ba life. You came to pick him up for me this morning and then you've taken him to the park and you've even filmed some clips. I try my best, but the first couple of clips are very short because I don't know how Lid does it. I was like, >> don't I didn't film last week >> and I had Nicole with me, >> but they were very cute. They've been good as gold. And we >> have you had your dinner.
>> Two more we at my house.
>> What are you trying to get ready to go out?
>> Oh, is it stuck?
>> And all they want to do is wear min name and shoes.
I'm more around the house >> together obviously.
>> Are we all right there, guys? Where are we going next? Should we go in the other living room?
W. Are we on the park? Should we put you on? Say beep beep.
>> Beep beep.
>> Alfie's driving us.
>> We do. We are partial to this fire truck at the park. Aiden's off again. Beep beep beep beep.
>> What are we up to over here?
>> Child.
>> Is that good fun? What are you up to, Alfie?
>> Ready? Go.
Woohoo!
>> Yay! Well done, >> y chilling out. Living the dream, >> loving the park and being friends.
That's what we love.
>> Go, go.
>> Woohoo! Here they go. Here they go.
Woohoo!
They're flying. Woohoo! Have fun, guys.
Woohoo!
Said fire. Higher. Higher. Knock knock knock.
Hello.
>> Hello.
>> We've come to my mom's school because they've got duck wings.
What can you hear?
Help.
Oh, thereie.
Oh my gosh. We need ducks for Lake Domo and the Tate District, don't we?
Alfie, they lovely.
>> I love him.
>> I know.
>> I love him. He's on the little as well, is it?
>> Bye.
>> Love you.
>> Bye-bye.
I'm not waving. Bye >> bye.
>> What a legend. I made tea last night.
Thomas brought tea tonight.
>> I'm so excited.
>> Bye, baby.
>> Bye, baby.
>> See you soon.
>> See you soon.
>> See you soon.
>> See you soon.
>> See you.
>> SEE YOU SOON.
I AM SO EXCITED TO GET THIS hair >> sorted out. I'm thinking I'm going to have a blonde moment before baby comes.
>> Tada! We're like new women. Just like that, we've got new hair.
>> We're ready for these babies to come now.
>> Come now.
>> We can arrive. We've had our hair done.
Feeling like humans.
Starving humans.
>> Starving humans. But 20 minutes we can have lunch. Yeah. Yeah, we're going to go to Ella's because it's literally just down the road. I'll ring Tom cuz he fancied a sandwich the other day. So, that'll make his day. Yes. Um but I do think we've got time to just knit sculpt.
>> Yeah, cuz what? We just need to leave.
What? Be back for Where is it? Literally just past Sainsbury.
>> Oh, yeah.
>> There's somewhere in Denton that sells incredible active wear and I need some leggings that fit over my stomach. So, should we have a quick knit?
>> Let's do it. Okay. The table was ready earlier. Win.
>> Good decisions have been made. We've gone the vodka pasta with the um guanchali on top and then a crab linguini.
I'm so excited. Which one are we trying first?
>> I think I'm go this one.
So you should try this today. So about 3 minutes past 9 last time she came and it wasn't ready.
Well, that was delicious. I've got goodies to take out for us and the boys, but I have had a phone call and we were going to go and try leggings on. We might have to come back later because very excited delivery. The furniture is being delivered for Alfie's room. So, I'm going to race home now. Um, I have got someone in the house and I think Tom's going up to receive the delivery for me, but I I want to go and see it.
I'm excited. I'm so excited to see it.
>> So, tell me you're pregnant without telling me you're pregnant.
We were going for lunch and it was a bit tricky to park where we were going for lunch.
>> It's all very strange. We're having a real moment.
>> So, we've raced back to come and see the furniture. I phoned Tom. He's already sorted the furniture and he's down on the land. I had sandwiches for Tom. So, I've taken the sandwiches down to the land. In the meantime, I've forgotten to collect my car from where it was parked in Denton.
So, we've left my car stranded in Denton.
>> Meant to be together all day.
>> Um because we were it was hard to park where we went for lunch. So, we decided to go in one car. Then, Jen's just turned out of the land.
I know in my brain >> to go to my house then had a mad panic turned in the middle of the road because her house is in the opposite direction to realize she's not going to her. She's going to my house.
>> Oh, I was going the right way the whole time.
>> And now I don't even know if we can see the furniture cuz I said, "Is my furniture nice?" And he went, "I don't know. It's all in boxes."
>> Oh, I want to see it. Okay. Genuinely, there's something wrong with us.
There actually is.
>> I read today that that actually your brain actually shrinks when you're pregnant. And mine has shrunk. Mine has shrunk.
>> Mine's Mine's non-existent.
>> Mine doesn't exist. We went back to look at the furniture. Ask me if we've gone to look at the furniture.
>> Nope.
>> Nope. Did we sit and eat a dessert and then come straight back out?
>> Yeah.
>> But we are going to Denton now to pick the car up. The missing car.
>> There's something wrong with us.
Hopefully remember to pick our children up today.
>> I can't cope. I cannot cope with us. Oh my god.
>> I love my new defaults. I've got a new car seat now. It's okay. We've stayed in this car forever.
>> It's still there. It just look like it's been smashed up. Someone's gone, who the hell is this car there all day?
>> Do you know what I nearly said then?
>> What?
>> Did I bring my keys? I did.
>> Sorry. 24 hours. All right. See you at nursery. See you at nursery. So, the only thing I would have liked to have done today is go and try some leggings on. But, uh, we've missed the boat now cuz the leggings place is practically closing in 5 minutes. So, we're going to go on Monday instead. I am going to do that job though because my gut is hanging over these leggings. Reunited with my baby. Who we looking for?
>> Daddy.
>> Grease.
>> Where are you?
Where are you?
>> Hi, Lizzy.
>> Hi, Chris.
>> Hi, >> Louder.
>> Louder.
>> Good job.
>> Good morning.
Morning.
We're out of the house and we're going on a bit of an unconventional wrecky to look for names. So, we've come to the graveyard because last time I was overdue, we came for like a late night walk in the graveyard and we actually found Alfie's name um on one of the gravestones and both fell in love with it.
Now, I've just found the name that I already have fallen in love with that Tom doesn't like. I love the name Winnifred cuz we'd have an an Alfred and a Winnifred and I just love the name Winnie. I think it's so lovely.
Tom's really not going for it. Love Dorothy, but we've used it on a cow. Oh, what we looking for, Alfie?
>> A train.
>> Hello. Quack quack quack quack. OH, I MEAN TRAIN. ALIE TRAIN.
>> It's not the right train, >> but it is a train. Should we try and get him to beep?
>> Do it. Do the choo choo.
>> Oh, ignore us. Steam train.
Oh my god.
Steam's train straight into hot chocolate. What a day. What a day. And now back to the bungalow. Oh gosh, look how stunning those flowers are. And we're going to have a Eurovision watch party. Woohoo. What are you doing?
>> Wow.
>> Wait. What?
What's itck bought you?
>> WHOA.
What's this?
Alfie X bought you another present.
>> You spoil spoiled boy.
>> Oh, who needs to open that bit?
>> He loves it so much at our house. She's bought him one for her house. You are the most spoiled luckiest boy >> on this planet. Here we go. Eurovision's beginning.
WOO! IT'S US.
>> YAY!
>> Eurovision and a Chinese. Thank you very much, Tom.
Can't be bothered cooking the salmon that we've got in the house.
>> You're very blurry.
My phone won't focus at the minute. Is it just my phone or is yours to say?
>> Oh, that's a problem.
>> YEAH.
YEAH.
>> ALFIE, what do you think of Great Britain?
>> Is it good?
>> Thumbs up.
>> Glad you like it.
Okay, watch Your head. Head. Head. Head.
Is that better? Is that nice?
>> Is that nice?
Oh, he's the DJ Dex.
>> Yeah. Well, um, this vlog was a little bit all over the place. I am clearly not cut out for work anymore because going into school completely derailed my week, which is why there was no vlog on Wednesday. Um, and why I felt like this vlog was quite short. But actually, Aid says somehow she's managed to make a 40-minute video video for you guys. But next week, we are back on it. Chris Tate is on Alfa's bedroom, so that project is starting. Um hopefully I get to open my furniture, which is all in boxes, so we've still not seen yet. Um and yeah, fingers crossed it come. It's all ready before baby girl comes. So, I'm going to love you and I'm going to leave you with this cute clip of Alfie. Alfie, Wally's coming to see you.
>> Hello. Oh, do you need to put the window down? Yeah.
>> Yeah. He's coming.
>> You speak to him. Say moo.
>> Hello.
Hello.
Should we bring you some bread tomorrow?
>> Should we bring you some bread?
>> Moo.
>> Moo.
>> Moo.
>> Moo.
>> Whoa. Boo.
>> Wow.
