Behind the Scenes with The Mark Jones TeamAdded:
[music] >> Do you ever wonder what happens behind the scenes of mortgage lending? We'll step inside the office with Mark Jones, Alamo City expert, for a look at the strategy, problem-solving, and real conversations that help people turn maybe someday into homeownership.
If you're thinking about buying or refinancing a home, we know just the place. Today, we're here at I Think Mortgage to meet with the team to see how they get it all done. Come on.
>> [music] >> All right, Mark. So, this is where the magic happens. I already met some of your team. Your office is really vibey.
So, what do you do every day? What does your day look like typically?
>> So, for me, my day consists of meeting with borrowers, working on loans specifically, um and obviously managing my team. Um we're constantly looking for new relationships out there. We're constantly fielding questions all day, um in addition to separate businesses that I have that actually supplement what we do here, simply like a uh mobile app that we created [music] called Loan Bot. Helps borrowers uh self-diagnose different mortgage programs [music] that are viable to their own situation without speaking to a lender. Then, when they're ready, they can speak to me. It sounds like you have all the tools, and it's not one size fits all. You help many different people starting from first-time home buyers, and the list goes on. Tell us more about that. So, every borrower has a unique situation, just like you said. It's not a one-size-fit-all, and being in the business uh since 2012, I have gained a pretty large book of business of first-time home buyers that have now become second-time and investors, but I'm still constantly helping in uh to educate those first-time home buyers on their options. Okay, and you have a lot of experience, which which leads [music] to that podcast room that we passed by.
You give advice. You talk to a bunch of different people. Tell us a little bit about that.
>> Yeah, um so uh Real Estate AF is a podcast [music] where the AF stands for And Finance. Uh we started about 3 years ago and each week I interviewed other mortgage, real estate, and entrepreneurial professionals to tell their story, to give true, raw, um journeys uh to allow the listener, the viewer to jump into their experience and and get >> [music] >> some advice if possible.
>> And it's informational and insightful.
And for our viewers who are watching right now, what are those first steps and how they can get you?
>> Absolutely. First steps, um they can visit mortgagetalkwithmark.com, where [music] there's plenty of tools, the do-it-yourself calculators, affordability, along with the apply now button. [music] Once they click that apply now button, um they complete the application and then essentially select the time and date that they meet with me on a Zoom call for me to go through all of their options. Well, that is all great information. Thank you [music] so much, Mark. If you guys are ready to apply or just exploring your options, you should reach out.
