[00:00:36]Let me just give you the briefing real quick so that you're aware of it. I do believe minors should have access to gender affirming care because it's shown to help reduce dis- uh, reduce distress and improve well-being when done under medical supervision. Do you disagree and if so, why?

[00:01:17]The reason would be um, maybe they were going through some kind of um, mental issue at that time.

[00:01:27]Um, but maybe their gender wasn't the real reason that they were going through whatever they were going through at that particular time uh, in their life and if that issue isn't addressed properly, um, I think gender affirming surgery can be uh, a very huge decision um, and act like a band-aid.
