Singapore has established a Tripartite Jobs Council comprising the Ministry of Manpower, National Trades Union Congress, and Singapore National Employers Federation to address workforce concerns during AI transformation. The council coordinates action across three key areas: supporting businesses in AI adoption to enhance growth and workforce competitiveness, providing broad-based and sectoral training for workers with targeted transition support for at-risk segments, and building public understanding of AI applications to encourage initiative participation. This initiative complements the National AI Council's efforts to ensure AI's potential translates into stronger companies and better jobs for all Singaporeans.

New Tripartite Jobs Council to boost efforts in upskilling workers, help businesses redesign jobs追加:
We know that many workers and businesses are feeling uncertain about what AI means for their jobs and their livelihoods.
These concerns are valid. They're real.
This is why MOM NTC and staff have formed the Tripartite Jobs Council to coordinate action at this critical transformation.
We will drive inclusive and practical action in three areas.
First, supporting businesses in adopting AI to enhance growth and to ensure that our workforce remains competitive.
Second, providing broad-based and sectoral training for workers as well as targeted transition support for at risk worker segments.
Third, building a deeper understanding of AI and its uses amongst Singaporeans and encouraging take up of available initiatives.
The council will complement the government's efforts under the National AI Council to drive Singapore's AI agenda.
It will build on existing efforts by the tripartite partners to ensure that AI's potential translates into stronger companies and better jobs for all Singaporeans.
