Citizens can hold police departments accountable by asking specific questions about use of force policies, pursuit protocols, body camera implementation, and training programs, particularly emphasizing that police work for the community and that effective policing requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, though implementing such improvements may require additional budgetary investment.

Demand Answers! Ask Your Police These Tough Questions NOW! #blackcomunity #police #rights #serveAdded:
You can go in and ask your police officers, your police chief these questions. Hold them accountable. That we work for you. Uh and people need to understand that. Go in, ask your officers or your leadership, you know, what does your policy say on use of force, pursuit? Uh do you have body worn cameras? What kind of training do you have? I mean, they have training, but believe it or not, they don't spend a lot of training on problem solving. And most of our work is problem solving and communication skills. So, a lot of things that are mandatory don't lean that way. So, you might go into your police department and say, "Well, I know you got some basic stuff, but are you teaching your uh police officers how to communicate?
How to problem solve?"
You know, so why not? And then but understand that that's a budgetary issue. So, if you a community want that, you got to pay for that cuz that that costs money. So, trying to get people to understand they work for you.
And uh you also can be a part of that to help change the culture. Mhm.
So, do you in in your coaching, what you do, is it just you teaching the community or you teaching law enforcement also?
You would have to ask them.
