A global survey conducted by the Jewish Agency reveals that while 69% of Jews worldwide identify anti-Semitism as their biggest challenge—with 43% of European Jews experiencing personal anti-Semitism and over 70% of South American Jews feeling personal security at risk—the Jewish community demonstrates remarkable resilience, with 80% prioritizing Jewish identity preservation, 85% viewing Israel as integral to their identity, and over 60% expressing optimism about the future, with younger generations showing even greater hope than older generations.

[원뉴맨TV] 유대인 43%가 직접 겪은 반유대주의 현실 ㅣ 세계 유대인 설문 조사Added:
Shalom everyone. This is Rabbi Jay from the Jewish Agency. And I want to share with you a special report that we just launched >> [music] >> that did a survey, it took opinions about Jews around the world.
>> [music] >> How are they feeling during these times?
And what are their thoughts about the future?
So, the first thing is [music] most Jews around the world, 69% feel that the biggest challenge [music] the Jewish people face is anti-Semitism.
That people around them have a hatred >> [music] >> towards Jews and are attacking Jews.
And for the majority, this was the biggest [music] issue that we face.
When we looked at European Jews, 43% of them >> [music] >> said that they faced personal anti-Semitism in the last year.
That means almost every other Jew in Europe >> [music] >> has been the victim of hateful speech or hateful attacks. Very, very difficult situation. [music] When we went to South America over 70% [music] of the Jews in South America felt that the personal security was at risk. That they might be attacked and hurt physically.
And then when we went to the Jews of North America about a third of them [music] said that they were scared to walk out of their house with a Jewish symbol with perhaps [music] a kippah or a necklace identifying them as a Jew.
So, when it came to getting the feeling of what are the challenges, clearly around the world Jews [music] feel under attack and they feel the challenge of anti-Semitism.
But, the report also has a second part [music] to it, which is much more optimistic towards the future of the Jewish people.
80% of the Jews that we talked to said that preserving their Jewish identity was very important to them.
Being part of the Jewish people, being part of the Jewish nation was integral to who they are.
>> [music] >> On the other hand, we have very positive results when we spoke to Jews around the world about their connection to Judaism and their thoughts about the future.
Over 80% of the Jews felt that preserving their Jewish identity was very important to [music] them.
When we compared younger Jews to older Jews, we actually found that the younger Jews [music] are more optimistic about the future of the Jewish people even while being under this difficult time of feeling anti-Semitism [music] and war around them. The younger generation is more optimistic than even their parents [music] and grandparents.
85% of the Jews around the world >> [music] >> feel that Israel is integral to their Jewish people.
And in fact, many, many of them are discussing aliyah and moving to Israel >> [music] >> in their homes and with their families.
And to summarize, >> [music] >> over 60% of the Jews that we spoke to around the world are optimistic about the future.
And I think this report is actually a glimpse of what the Jewish people are about.
>> [music] >> That even though there are challenges and they identify with anti-Semitism and personal security being at risk, nevertheless, we're moving forward [music] in a positive light and we're optimistic about what God has in store with [music] us for the future.
And Christians play a role in this.
Play a role in this with helping us with their prayers. Play a role with helping us with your support. And we're so thankful for [music] that because we know that we're not alone.
So I say to you from Jerusalem, shalom.
And [music] should be peace for the Jewish people and for the entire world.
One human family.
