This $700/Day Airbnb at Lake Tekapo Is an Investor's Dream — Here's the Breakdown

[00:00:00]Today we are at a Lake Tekapo. One of the beautiful city I have seen. There is a lake right there. You cannot see it, but look at that mountains. But I'm not going to give you the tour of the city, but the most impressive thing I have seen today is the Airbnb that we are staying. Such a beautiful layout and the way that it is done, it's generating over $700 per day. So, if you're an investor, this could be a great tour.

[00:00:25]You can learn a lot of things how they laid out. And along with that, I want to share some of my, you know, 20-year-old dreams. And this is There is so many, you know, ingredients that you will walk away, especially if you're someone like I want to do this, this, this, but I don't know where.

[00:00:42]And this story will move you. But look at this. Look at that balcony. Huge balcony. Yeah, this is not the Airbnb we are going in. Ours is even better than this one. This one, look at the view, the mountain comes in. And so, here is the where we are staying. So, it's a the house called tractor house. There is a literally a tractor, and the theme whole theme is like farmers and tractor. So, they got this beautiful like front, you can call it front yard. So, they can park many cars, as many cars as possible. And there's a big double car shed, and this is the van we are like 10 people going in this van because my whole family is here. My mom, dad, sister, brother. I know brother, I don't have a brother. Brother-in-law, their kids, our kids. So. Papa, hi. Lad Babu, hi Appu. Hi. My sister's son. So, here's the cool part of the house. This is the front yard, right? So, you can sit down here. This city has a star view. If you search Lake Tekapo, you will see a stars like in the night time after 10:00 p.m., you're going to see a beautiful lake.

[00:01:41]So, you can sit in here, enjoy the barbecue. You can sit in there in the front. So, they got this That's bedroom one, bedroom two. And both the bedrooms have this access. And then there is a side yard that's even more beautiful.

[00:01:53]So, before that And And my most dangerous system. Hall and beds okay. Hall I'm going to show you how the living area.

[00:02:11]So you're going to check out the bathroom also. I don't know what you like in the kitchen.

[00:02:15]The ceiling for me my favorite one is there is a big loft in the second floor. So that is my favorite one. But before that look at this. This is a real tractor. So the whole theme is like highlighting the farmers and their culture. So the New Zealand is really well known for agriculture. 50% plus GDP is over agriculture. And look at this backyard.

[00:02:37]You can call it a side yard, right? Go all the way there so you can view the thing properly. Look at this. It can host like literally 20 25 people. Nice sitting area and night time stars. And look at that beautiful mountains right in the front of you like on your face.

[00:02:53]We had like beautiful dinner and very beautiful lunch, breakfast. So imagine like how refreshing it is. You got the barbecue room. You can have barbecues.

[00:03:02]You can have sitting area. You have this. And look at that. So the whole front on the main floor is the living kitchen and dining. And three big windows. So makes it more unique. You can enjoy the view and you can enjoy the space. So let's go inside.

[00:03:18]So this is my mom. And that's my cranky cranky Ahilya. Hi. Cranky papa. Hi hi. Because she couldn't get the blue bluey pant which we forgot in Canada.

[00:03:29]Don't know how to bring it. So she's upset on us. So here is the living. Look at this. Look at the ceiling. So this is the ceiling that my mom and my my in-law was talking about. That that's a real deer. Real guns. And real skin of a some animal. I don't know which animal is it.

[00:03:43]And look at this fireplace right in the center. So we literally lit up the fire last night. Wood. Turned off all the lights. Imagine stars in the sky. You can see the stars from those windows as well. And you can see from here here.

[00:03:56]Look at the view. Literally mountain ice mountain. The beauty. We literally playing the music. Nice whiskey. We had a good time last night. And such a spacious kitchen. It's like, you know, the restaurant kitchen. And here we got on the main floor three bedroom, three bathroom. So, before I show you guys the bedrooms and the upstairs loft, that is my favorite one.

[00:04:18]Most likely I'm going to build one home like this for us for our family because this was like perfect. That's exactly why I'm doing this tour because it will be in my record as well. But for you also, if you're a Airbnb guest, see following a theme really can generate good amount of income. Their availability like I was speaking to the host, the guy who is hosting it. He said their booking rate is like on a not so busy season. So, right now it's like a not so busy season because the winter time.

[00:04:46]Uh they have two or three months winter.

[00:04:49]Remaining time, they have like 90% occupancy. This three months, probably he said 50% maybe 40% occupancy. So, even if you consider four four months 50% occupancy, remaining months 80%, he's making like 2% or 3% uh per month. So, it's crazy returns.

[00:05:08]Here is the one of the most important thing.

[00:05:10]Dreams. I had a dream 20 years ago. If you would have seen my other video, I said this. I have written down on a piece of paper in 27 2007.

[00:05:24]Maybe he didn't do intentionally. But, you know, me and another friend was sitting in the principal's office with our parents. The way that my principal treated his dad versus my dad. His dad, they were like, well, you know, local city people, well-dressed. Well, and my dad is a farmer. And the way that he really treated hit me hard. And that day I wrote down on a piece of paper, 10 years from now I'm going to own a home and a car. 20 years from now I'm going to take my family in you know out of the country trips often from 20 years from now because at that time I know I can I don't have that much money or I don't even have money.

[00:06:03]I don't know how to make money. 20 years ago I wrote down on a piece of paper. I have no idea how they're going to happen.

[00:06:09]Here's the thing every one of us face different challenges and counter different what do you call insults?

[00:06:17]Whenever you encounter insult don't fight with them. Write it down. How you want to see your life to be? Write it down. Universe will send it your way.

[00:06:26]Same way I did I don't know somehow my my school teacher thanks to my teacher Ravikanth sir. Thank you so much if you're watching this. In my school he said it like anything you want write it down universe will give you. Till the day I'm so surprised whatever I wanted whatever the things I wrote down with strong intuitions. Like it's like you know I want it. It's like with that strong desire it happened. And it could be as small dreams as possible you know for me bringing my parents out of the country because my dad lived in Dubai as a laborer. He doesn't know what travel means but he always wanted to and my mom was in a village never got out of the village. So bringing them to a a city is also a dream. Bringing them to you know foreign country is also a dream. Whatever your dreams see this is my dream. Whatever your dreams do not give up on them. So it's like literally one side is the kitchen living and the other side is the bedrooms and on top of the last loft and a lot of storage on the sides. So here let me show you one bedroom. [00:07:48]The whole gang is like you can go from the bedroom as well. And that's the little one. We don't want to show the face. He's already hiding. Because of him, we all here. Because he's just a 1 and 1/2 month. So, I'm mama again.

[00:08:03]Nothing fancy here. But you're going to see the fancy the bed bathroom my mom loved. You're going to see it in a second. So, the second bedroom is kind of same as has the first one. And the third bedroom, just the bedroom is kind of same. And here's the third washroom.

[00:08:17]Look at So, in New Zealand, one thing I noticed, here's the bathroom that my mom mentioned. She loved. Yesterday, my kids played it like literally like a bathtub.

[00:08:26]And my son, my daughter, and my sister's son, they were like a couple enjoying the bathtub one on the other side.

[00:08:34]It was too cute. If my sister allows, I'll put a picture. So, this is the bathroom. And in New Zealand, basically, I don't know why, they have the toilet completely separate. And no vanity.

[00:08:45]Interesting is no vanity. So, don't use any hands, okay? Just only use the paper toilet. You cannot use If you want to use the hands, then you're going to come back into the vanity to the other washroom. So, let's go see my favorite part of this house. [00:09:39]And here is my favorite one I'm damn sure going to have in my house. This is like where literally the whole family can sleep, enjoy, you know, especially like when you have a lot of friends and family come over. 1 2 3 4 5 6. So, literally 10 people can sleep in here.

[00:09:56]And all our kids they were like jumping up and down playing, you know, on that they've been those already the air is out the way they played. So, this is the house, guys.
