This Changes Everything for Bittensor Tao! (Must Watch)

[00:00:00]Bitensor Tao has one of the strongest foundations and one of the strongest footholds when it comes to decentralized AI when it comes to AI in general and crypto. Tao stands out especially amongst institutions and these small little minor changes that they are doing and a massive one that Constant Reborn has just come out and announced which we will be covering in this video is actually pretty bullish for this project. Now guys, there's been a bunch of little tweaks, a bunch of little fixes along the road map for tow, especially after we saw that subnet scare a couple weeks ago. And um in order to fix that, they're tweaking things left, right, and center. And in today's video, we're going to be going over the most recent change that is not permanent, but they're trying to weave out all the bad subnets. Now, this is the tweet that I kind of want to show you guys first to start off with. It came. Now, this tweet comes after this post over on the Discord right from Cost Reborn. Now, for those that don't know, their official Discord website or their official Discord community is the place to be if you are into the technicals behind uh Bitens, right? what they're doing, the updates they're coming out with, what you know, the little behind the scenes for Bit Tensor. This is where you want to be. And this post came out on May 24th. And you can see Constant over here saying, "Hello, uh, everyone in the Bit Tensor family, PSA, uh, starting next week. We will be introducing an intermin um, is where am I? I think I lost my train of thought here. We'll be releasing inter in inter interim measure to block emissions off bit tensor subnets which are engaging in active foul play and or with no clear path to adding value into bitensor ecosystem.

[00:01:52]This will need to be done on a case-bycase basis. However, the criteria for blocked emissions will revolve around the following. Okay. Long-term burning of a 100% minor emissions with no plan from the team to bring them online. Now, obviously 100% burning of minor emissions is not sustainable. It's not beneficial for everyone because no company should be doing that. If you're a subnet and you're burning 100% of the emissions that you get, what are you really building? Where is the money coming from to actually build? Active self mining, i.e. subnets that do not have code and instead use stake weight to pass emissions to their own keys.

[00:02:27]Dead or fully abandoned subnets are those that have not announced themselves, i.e. unclaimed subnets.

[00:02:33]subnets engaged in towflow explosion explosion such as 104 which have very little to no chain activity from the network at large. A chain operation to block a mission will be available on Tuesday to carry this out. Note this is not a long-term solution as further protocol upgrades such as conviction shorting and the eventful full decentralized governance system of Bitensor coming into play this year will allow much more organic and sworn base intelligence to organize Bitensor's emission vector in the near term. I believe that there is a broad support and consensus for this activity as it will drive more value towards subnets on Bit Tensor that are pushing forward a decentralized vision for AI. This is absolutely crazy. I don't know if you guys fully understand what's going on here, but he's trying to get rid of all the subnetss that are either, you know, abandoned, has some scammy um actors, has bad actors, isn't doing anything, isn't really moving and or doing just shady business. and he wants to make sure that the subnets in Bit Tensor are all fair game and they're actually adding value to the ecosystem.

And you can see here's a a list of all the ones that they think are legit. Some of my favorite ones are actually on there as well. Uh and you can go over this guys.

[00:03:50]So essentially guys, what exactly is this saying? Well, this guy's gone on to kind of recap this tweet, but in my own words here, right, Bitensor, guys, we know this, has many different subnets, and these subnets are just mini networks that perform different AI tasks. Each subnet receives minted TOAO um tokens every block as rewards called emissions.

[00:04:11]Those rewards are then split between miners and validators on that subnet.

[00:04:15]The team recently announced that they are blocking emissions on certain subnets. This action starts May 26. So today is when it starts. And they are cutting off tower rewards to subnets that are essentially dead, abandoned, or unclaimed, or only doing self mining with no real code or activity, or burning 100% of minor missions long-term with no actual useful work. Or they're exploiting the system, such as certain low activity subnets like Toflow, which is number 104. Now, this is not a permanent change, right? It's a short-term manual cleanup. While they develop better long-term tools, uh like we talked about like conviction, most people in the community see this as a very positive and long overdue move. It uh it improves the overall quality of the network, reduces the abuse of these subnets and abuse of actually mining Tao and should make the remaining active subnets much stronger. Many view this as very bullish for Tao. Um, basically guys, in simple terms, Bit Tensor is cleaning up the house by stopping reward payments to loweffort or scammy subnets.

[00:05:16]Shout out to Con. I really do think this is a step in the right direction. But guys, one thing I do want to make clear is I hope they stop doing many little changes and tweaks all across all along the way because at one point you need a product that say, "Okay, hey, look, this is good. It's ready to go." And boom.

[00:05:32]you know, every single time you decide to do little changes to your missions, how they work, things like that, people start to lose faith. Um, you know, as you pull out little pieces, right? So, hopefully they get things hopefully they get their ducks in a row by the end of this year. But I am bullish on TA, guys, because there's no other blockchain out there that's trying to make um these type of changes or that do this type of due diligence into making their blockchain, into making their crypto, into making their product as stable, as secure as Bit Tensor is. Because let's be real, attacks happen on every single blockchain every single day. But the only one that I've seen become as proactive um as proactive and actually want to make a difference is Bit Tensor, guys. Okay, listen. Um I you could view this one of two ways, right?

[00:07:24]You can see from the beginning of February, a move towards the upside or from the peak in March 26th, um, a move towards the downside. Regardless, this is a very strong resistance area that we do need to break out of. I would love a break towards the upside. Hopefully that $300 gets taken out. That would be what I'm expecting to happen next. And if not, we're going to get some more rejection, then move towards the downside, maybe even revisit that $230 range once again.
