BREAKING! Worldwide Caution Issued Over EbolaAdded:
There is growing concern and there's been a worldwide alert issued by the United States and this has to do with the ongoing issue of Ebola. Remember it's in Africa at this time. Uh let's get into this immediately. This is a worldwide caution public health arrival restrictions and enhanced Ebola screening taking place in the United States of America. And I'll show you around the world where other people are going to get into this as well. So stick around. You need to get this information.
It says the US bound American citizens who have been present in the Democratic Republic of Congo, uh Uganda, uh South Sudan within 21 days of arrival in the United States of America must only enter through the following airports for enhanced screening. So they're saying you can only come through Washington Jules International Airport, Hartfield Jackson Atlanta, George Bush Intercontinental Airport as well. The US Center for Disease Control and Prevention CDC and the Department of Homeland Security, Customs and Border Protection will apply enhanced public health screening at those airports in response to the Ebola outbreak.
This requirement applies to all passengers including US citizens who are present in those countries. So you don't have to be from the United States of America. Once you are present in those countries, you have to present yourself at these airports once you're coming into the United States of America. And I'll go now to show you where other countries are now going on alert over this uh Ebola. South Korea is enhancing Ebola quarantine with mobile travel records as well. So even in South Korea where there's no cases, things have been heightened. And these are important information for you. Let's go over to that right here. It says to prevent domestic influx of Ebola virus which is rapidly spreading in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The Uganda uh South Korea quarantine authorities have decided to strengthen their quarantine system. Previously only flight tickets were checked but moving forward they will also verify incoming travelers mobile carrier roaming history and entry exit records to determine if they have visited any high-risk areas. So previously only your flight tickets were checked.
Now they're saying no we can't trust some people. So now we're going to go moving forward. We will be verifying all incoming travelers, their mobile carrier rooming history. So, if you were in Africa and you said you weren't, they're going to check your mobile roaming history and of course your entry and exit records to determine if you actually visited any of those high-risk areas. So, this is the kind of precaution that is already going on in different countries around the world.
yesterday. Uh today we are actually now hearing about Italy. We're in an Ebola alert in Italy because of two suspected cases in Lombardi after return from Uganda. So these patients, these persons are now patients. They actually came in from Uganda and now they saying there are two suspected cases inside of Italy and all this as we continue to bring you information on what is going on. stay vigilant because they're trying to hype this and I'm bringing the information to you so you will know what is taking place. It says the cases concern a woman from Lar Kavio and a man from Bulgaraso who returned from Uganda in the past 24 hours with other members of their families after spending um around 3 months there as humanitarian aid workers. both have developed symptoms consistent with Ebola virus including high fever, nausea, vomiting and intestinal problems. They were quickly transferred to Milan's uh Sako hospital, a specialist facility for management of high-risisk infectious diseases where tests required under national and international protocols are currently underway. So this is in Italy where they're saying there's a suspected two cases right now. All right. If we go back to the Congo where they're saying suspected Ebola cases in DRC Congo passing 900 as health workers face attacks amid shortages. So you notice that they're burning um the the facilities the treatments facilities in the Congo. And then this morning we are hearing so many other things coming out.
Authorities in the Democratic Republic of Congo says the suspected Ebola cases have now passed 900 in the ongoing outbreak in the east of the country. The DRC's Ministry of Communications said in a post on X on Sunday that there were 94 suspected and 119 suspected deaths.
Authorities had previously announced more than 700 suspected Ebola cases and more than 170 suspected deaths mostly in Aruro province where the outbreak is centered. The World Health Organization has said the outbreak now poses a very high risk uh for the DRC but that risk for the disease spreading globally remains low. So it remains low for global. And then if we were to go over in Uganda, they were saying that Ugandan officials are now reporting that their new Ebola virus infections bringing the cases to seven seven Ebola cases now in Uganda. Folks, I'm just bringing you this information because, you know, as we know on this channel, I bring you updates. I bring you what is happening not only the Caribbean, what's happening around the world. Some people want to say it's scareongering. Well, telling the truth is not scaremongering. Telling you what is happening is not scaremongering. telling you what the latest information is is not scareongering. If you're not prepared and something catches you, that will be scareongering cuz you'll be scared out of your wits and not know what to do.
