Thermal paste is a conductive material applied between the CPU and CPU socket to bridge microscopic imperfections in metal surfaces, improving heat transfer efficiency. It fills gaps that would otherwise impede thermal conductivity, allowing heat to dissipate more effectively from the CPU. The paste should be replaced when experiencing overheating issues or performance degradation, rather than on a fixed schedule. Liquid metal compounds offer superior thermal conductivity but require careful handling due to their liquid nature and potential to damage components if they spread.

Fixing our Livestreaming Setup (Bigger Chat!) - !pcbros
Added:Me coming. Me coming.
Oh, we got our nice new streaming setup.
It's going to be hype. What's up, Zeno SMS Paula Pro PC? You nosy. How y'all doing? It's probably weird seeing me look down because, you know, our chat's down now. Technically, our chat's up and down. Can see both here just fine.
Is this still zoom this in a little bit because why not?
Oh, hell yeah. Hell yeah.
All right. Yeah. So, we got a couple of fun things. Um, so Matt's actually at the dentist this morning. So, he might he might make it for stream. I'm not sure yet. Um, depends on how the mers are, I guess. But, uh, we got a follower from Jackson. That's funny. You're followed by Jackson. Um, so this PC, Matt and I are doing a uh, you know, one of our challenges where it's a budget wheel spin in a Ramageddon edition. Um, my PC ended up needing a lot of modification. And I know from here you're probably just like, "Oh, he cut into the side panel." Well, no. I had to do so much. I worked on this PC for like an hour and a half yesterday. Maybe two hours. So, for one, my PC had to have RGB. So, check this out.
Might it'll probably turn Yeah, it's going to turn itself on then to turn it on. Um, so my PC needed RGB as a part of the challenge. You guys are going to I think you'll love this. I know you guys normally love these videos, but I think this one might be like extra fun. I think Matt's PC was pretty straightforwards. Uh, from what I I don't know much about his parts, but I think he did pretty good. 325 bucks. I had a little less to spend. Um, I ended up spray painting my front and side panel because after I cut I wanted to kind of make it look decent. That was not in my budget. We'll see how Matt feels about that one. Um, and then I of course had to cut a hole into my side panel because my graphics card ended up being too tall. And that was not the only problem. The other problem is you guys can probably tell this is not factory. It was also too tall for the drive cage, which is this giant cage here that I guess technically maybe I could have no I couldn't have removed it. I mean, the front panel wouldn't even hold on at that point. So yeah, long story short, I had to not only cut this, which is what I did first, and I was like, "Oh, that's that's all it's going to take." And not even think about, oh my god, the side panel has to be able to go on. So yeah, that was fun.
Um, that's basically what we had to do um to make mine work. Matt has not fully seen my uh reveal yet. It's kind of funny because like normally with these challenges, it's like we're on a tight budget. So realistically when I do a lot of these mods, they I feel like I kind of cheat a little bit with them because technically I'm like, well, I kind of just failed in a way. But what fun would that be? and then there just wouldn't I just wouldn't even be in the challenge, right? So, I'm like, I got to got to make it work. So, yeah, there's my build. I got my RGB. There's a strip going all the way around. Um, it's actually not too hard. I thought it was going to be hard to see on camera. It's actually pretty easy to see on camera.
So, anyways, what I'm about to do, my build's done. I got Apex downloaded. Um, I'm going to go and get some B-roll of it. I'm going to get B-roll of this one, and then I actually figured out how to use the portable camera finally. Wow.
And so, I'm going to work on uh cleaning up that that we bought it. Um, that's in the picture if you didn't already see it. Uh, if you're on YouTube, you'll you'll see it. I think does Twitch give you like Can you see a thumbnail?
I also do the go live notification.
Pre-orders for GTA 6 June 25th, actually. So, it's it's actually finally announced or is So, you can pre-order in June, but can you play it? And do you know when you can play it?
Because I feel like that makes a you know like a decent difference.
All right. Copy text.
You got the TW notification for GTA 6.
Hell yeah. Hell yeah. Is YouTube not live anymore? It says two of two channels right now. There's always a chance I mess something up or YouTube just decide not to go live.
Um but no, that's cool. Uh good for GTA.
I mean, we're not going to be able to play anytime soon. I mean, I'm sure maybe we'll find a way to get one video out of it um on console, but I don't we're not a react channel. We're not a gaming channel. So, I don't just see it Matt and I being like, "Oh, we bought a PS, you know, five to play GTA 6 being a good video."
I wouldn't think.
We are live working on some Toasty Bros.
We're just going to put some video B-roll and a PC Bros flip. By the way, guys, today, um, I'm going to stay a little bit late, um, to get some builds listed. If you guys didn't know, Jod's been out of town.
He's he's out of town until, uh, like Monday. Um, so I've been the one listing all the PCs, so I have I usually will just go in waves where I think today's gonna be the next wave. Um, I'm probably going to get like five to six listed today. Um, and they range all over the place. Most of them are tradeins, which is cool. The tradeins are always where you guys can usually get the best value.
Jackson, my first PC a few days ago.
Very nice. Drums and games. How's it uh how's it how's it looking? Is it working?
All right, I'm going to start getting some B-roll. We're going to start first shot. I think first shot would be cool of me doing like almost like a reveal of the PC.
Who was that? A subbery.
Who's that from? Uh Foxy, thank you for the sub. Prime sub. Don't forget guys, if you have Amazon Prime, you more than likely have Well, I say more than likely. If you've never used it, you definitely have a free Prime sub, which is pretty cool because like you can't beat free, right?
We go live crop.
We start real zoomed out and then we work our way in.
And now we get our side panel on for dramatic effect.
I need to throw some double-sided adhesive on this John too.
That's what's funny is I keep realizing more things I want to do to it to like just make it a little better, you know?
Like I like the cable that's sticking out in the bottom there and the RGB at the bottom is kind of goofy. Yeah. Yeah.
You know, you guys know what it is. All right, we're going to get a bunch of side panel off B-roll. Then we'll get some side panel on B-roll. A little bit of this, a little bit of that.
Instead of raising the tripod, I'm going to raise the table. Oh, and chat, I have a really Oh god. Hold up. Something's tight. Chat, I heard something sound like it was breaking. Ah, I think I see it's our USBC. Huh? Get it? I see.
That should be enough.
Uh there's one in Houston. Just don't want to miss good deals from Microenter.
Isn't that the one that's opening or is that already open? Is am I thinking of Is it Austin that's getting one?
There we go.
All right, let's go. Let's do a nice zoom in shot. Can never go wrong with those. Oh man, just seeing the archive for GTA 6 looks so dope. I bet GTA has always had pretty good looking like load screens and our covers.
Matt, you know, Matt and I are both on the same page. And you know, that can change, but as of now, neither one of us are really that interested in GTA 6 because of benchmarks. Um, whenever it does come to PC, we will play it inevitably, but I don't know. I don't think he ever beats Cyber Punk. I've never had any desire to play Cyberpunk.
Um, I beat GTA 5, you know, on the Xbox 360 and, you know, I remember as a kid I kind of enjoyed it, but it was really like one of those where there was nothing else to play. My friends were playing like screw it, I'm going to play it. Um, but realistically, I've never been a big fan of like the modern um just, you know, I don't know, walking around like going to clubs. The driving part was always fun to me. Um, some of like the heist missions, you know, they're they're cool, but I don't know if I'm gonna normally if I'm playing a game, I like to play like fantasy. I don't really I'm not the biggest like, oh, I I can't run people over and shoot people in real life and get strippers, so I'm going to do it in a game. You know what I'm saying? Like, I don't really I don't have any desire for that IRL. But the idea of like being in like a game like Skyrim, you know, and like freaking, you know, shooting fire out of my hand and hitting people's swords, that that sounds fun, right? You know, I don't know. That's how I feel about it.
But hey, to each their own.
I mean, if you all about pimping and slapping people to each they own. You know what I'm saying? Microenter Austin would be the closest microenter to me.
And it's still almost four hours away.
Yeah. I mean, I guess you could say we're lucky that I mean, we live in Louisville, Kentucky. That's where I shop. That's where everything is. Um, and we don't have one at all in Kentucky. Our nearest ones are Indianapolis, which is 2 hours away, and then we have like three in Ohio that are all around 2 to three hours away from us. So, yeah, we're not too far from like a microenter at any time. Um, but realistically, you know, for the content that we do, and we're really like, we're in a very large city, so we have a lot of we have no problems getting shipments, you know, from UPS, like FedEx, Amazon. We have Amazon facilities here. So we get a lot of stuff like one day shipped or same day even. So for us it's like not usually worth it just to go to MicroEnter. The general thing for us is MicroEnter is always fun for us to go. Like we have a great time there. You know it's it's our it's our people. It's our kind of tech. Like it's fun, right?
Um but we have to make a whole day out of it when we go. And usually with that we'll get like maybe one maybe two videos out of it. Um and we can't even finish them while we're there. So really, it's we go there, we usually pick out like the parts for the build, and then we still have to bring it back and film more like to finish it. So, it's one of those things where we like doing it every so often, but it's definitely not like a we we'd want to make that uh that trip like every single day or anything.
All wants to play games. Uh 250 Oh, 20 stream. I said 250. I was like, damn.
I see Death Toad's on a 200 day stream streak. What's What's the longest stream streak right now you guys see? Is it Death Toad? It might be, honestly.
See, like GTA V, but it never um held me for long after beating the game. But that is probably the best part to me.
That That's exactly what I'm saying.
Like I don't know. I just feel like the driving in it was pretty fun and the heist were fun. Everything else I'm just kind of like, yeah, I could do without.
like realistically a lot of the other stuff just like I said I I just like the fantasy games a little more I think personally um but even then I have trouble with any single player game now to be fair it's not like it's just GTA like if I still played single player a lot I'm sure I could play it and beat it um but I have trouble beating any single player game the last single player game I beat and it was pretty much when it came out was Doom and honestly I would say about halfway through I was I was overdoomed.
Like I really was not having that much fun anymore. I mean I was having a little bit of fun but not much. Um because it just started feeling really repetitive. There's it just feel like there's no story to it and real in realistic um expectations. It's not like Halo I don't know. Halo just always to me felt like there was a story. It was fun. Every mission was so different.
Doom was kind of it kind of started to feel a little repetitive. I mean it was different but it was repetitive and the story was kind of goofy.
Um, so yeah, that was the last game I beat though was Doom. And that was the last game I beat in a while that was single player was Doom.
I hadn't even been trying to I mean I started a bunch of single player games.
So I um I think in Blackmouth Wukong, for example, I'm legit on like pretty much the last um what do you call it?
World or whatever it is, the last chapter. And I just kind of gave up. Um gave up slash just ran out of time. just didn't feel like trying to grind anymore cuz there was a couple of bosses I just couldn't beat. And I have a really bad habit with games where I can't like just I can't just play them um and like skip things if that makes sense. I know a lot of you guys are like like Zach for example, he's really good about main story. Uh Zach that works here, well maybe most Zacks, I don't know, but he's really good at at single player and just getting through the main quest to actually beat the game. And then a lot of times I don't even think he really does a ton of the side quest. I'm like the opposite. Every time I accidentally pick up a side quest, I hate having like tons of like, you know what I mean? Like tons of things unchecked. I gotta have all the boxes checked. And because of that, I think that's why I never beat games anymore. And I didn't used to be like that, I don't think, as a kid. But maybe I was. I don't know.
Who knows?
You're a big kid now. That's basically it. I mean, and I still game almost every day. It's just I'm usually playing um like I I I haven't even been playing a lot of this, but Apex Legends honestly for the last like since it came out has been probably my main multiplayer game.
Like Apex Legends is my most hours in any game by far. And I mean like by triple like I think TF2 and Counter-Strike are the most hours. Um may maybe Overwatch might be up there.
They're all in the 300s, right? 300 hours in all those games. And I've been playing this like for a long time. Um, if that tells you anything, Apex Legends between Steam and EA because I that's what I used to play on was or was it EA, Origin, whatever it was. Um, that's what I used to play on. I had like, no joke, I think 13 12 or 1300 hours on EA. And then on Steam, I think I have a few hundred, like maybe 300 hours. So altogether I have like 15 or 1600 in Apex which like I said by far is the most I have in any game by like a lot because the next up is like 300 hours.
Honestly Minecraft I could have a lot of hours in. I know as a kid on the Xboxes I had a lot of hours in Halo but I can never see those numbers.
I wish I could have seen the Fable gameplay. Uh no no games story really don't do anything for me. No that's totally fair too. I know that's why a lot of people say Crimson Desert was kind of eh this they just said the story wasn't great. All right, let's do we're going to do a cool light off shot.
It's always worth getting some light off shots when you got some RGBs, right?
Hold on, chat. It's going to get dark.
Try not to scream. Don't make this like a like a school.
Going to be fun. I think Can we make the background RGB? I think we can. Let's Let's try that. That' look kind of cool.
Dude, the stupid RGB app that we use like I hate because our our tablets in um landscape and it like doesn't go landscape for some reason.
Uh let's see. These are all flash. We don't really full color flash.
I want smooth RGB, bro. Not Oh, wait.
Full color fade. I think it's literally going to fade in and out. So stupid.
Uh, RGB flash, Christmas, winter, Halloween, Valentine's Day, DIY, fade.
Please don't fade in and out. I want you to switch cleanly to a different color.
Okay. Okay, that'll work.
That'll do, donkey.
Then we can use our new uh we got a new light bar chat. That's uh I actually have not even touched this thing yet.
TBH do something fun like this little little light bar RGB effect.
Usually like try to get it twice in one run, you know? I think it looks pretty cool in case they went multiple shots.
See if we can get a cool cool RGB in the background kind of deal.
That looks kind of cool.
Kind of. Sort of.
All right. I think it's the last shot I'm getting of this one. Feel like I got like way more B-roll than I need.
Please send some good vibes with the PC going to um is that North Carolina?
Wait, he's in stage five king. Please send some vibes with the PC going to I I'm a little confused. We're talking about like PC like a computer or is that like a different term that I don't know of? I mean, either way, you know, good vibes your way. Hope everything's uh going all right.
All right.
What do you think? We don't think Oh, you don't think there's a sale right now? So, honestly, we have not been doing nearly as many sales at PC Bros.
If that's what you're talking about, because all of our stuff's already marked, like I I would honestly just say about as cheap as we can freaking sell it. Um, there's a lot of things that we sell already at a loss, like especially stuff that you guys see on the YouTube channel. That's why you don't usually see, if you guys have ever looked at PC Bros, you'll notice you don't see a lot of the builds or laptops or whatever that Matt and I review because they sell so quick. um like they sell within you know usually a few hours of us listing them um whenever they're from something like that. Um the one was ordered was a budget gamer. So is the Did you get a PC from us that got um is it getting shipped to someone who's having some like medical issues? Is that what you're saying? Like I said either way, sorry to hear that, but hopefully everything's going to be looking good.
Okay. Yeah, I feel pretty good about this PC now. I'm going to go um go and get this footage transferring chat.
Swing this around. Yes. Oh, okay. Well, hey, hopefully um so is that are they going to be gaming on that PC?
Well, I really hope that that uh PC brings them some joy. I do know for sure whenever I've been uh you know, very down in my luck, not feeling well and everything, PC gaming is definitely the way to go.
Tell you what, that'll make you feel a hell of a lot better. good way to help you forget about life and everything, you know, all the sucky parts about it.
All right, let's do transfer. We got How many is that? Like I think I we get 10 plus B-roll shots. I bet you two get used in the video.
That's always the joke around the office is uh there there's, you know, we're a team. Um and so obviously Matt and I have one vision. Joan is the the filmographer, the videographer. he has a different vision and then we have two editors that both have different visions. Um, so it's pretty funny because a lot of times we all kind of we all bicker at each other because we'll have moments where um, you know, Jonah gets like 25 B-roll shots and like there's been times where like we've had a video go live where not a single B-roll shot gets used. Uh, it's kind of sad and it's one of those things where, you know, when Matt and I reviewed the video, we may have just not noticed, you know, um, it may not felt like it was like a make or break for the video. So yeah, there's always those Oh. Sorry.
There's always those fun disconnects um you know slash when you got a vision um that not everybody else can see. It's it's fun when you're doing a creative uh creative thing like that. It's almost like imagine if Picasso uh you know was was doing like a painting but he had to have like three other people um also add to the painting but he couldn't watch them add to it. He could maybe only give him a little bit of direction. You know that's that's how it is around here sometimes.
So Rockstar is saying 70 to 80. I think that's totally fair. I'm going to be honest. I mean, you know, Cyber Demons actually want to kind of brought that to light. We were talking about games being pricey and um he he sent us old articles where it was like freaking uh you know NES games that were like $100. So, it's one of those things where games have always been, I would say, in like the, you know, new AAA title, they've always been in like the $50 to $100 range. Um, he sent me some where the games were like 125 bucks even. So, the way I look at it is if you buy a game that um, you know, is you think you're going to get at least 15 hours out of, let's just say 12 to 15 hours, just think about going to like a movie. I mean, a movie lasts an hour and a half, two hours. [ __ ] I mean, for what? Let's just say one person, maybe a popcorn and a drink.
You're going to spend like what? $35, 30 bucks there. So, you know, times that by like 10 to get like a 20our game. I mean, it's going to cost a lot more than that. You know, that's kind of how I look at it. I just I just think about experiences. And don't get me wrong, I I do believe in going out and having fun.
So, I'm not saying, "Oh, a game is uh I better bang for bucks. You should never go out and, you know, bowl or go to Top Golf or, you know, I'm like, you should still go touch grass." But I'm just throwing out there that, you know, it's uh when you really do like the the price, like the math, I don't feel like the $70 games are really that bad if you're actually going to play them a lot. My PC not turn off. Turn off PC.
PC turn off. Dang it.
Oh, it's off.
Uh 30 40 bucks is like one person. My brother go easily 70 to 80 for two people. Dang. Omar, are you and your brother going to go see some new uh Marvel movies anytime soon? Epic has Division 2 DLC for around $2. That's so funny. That's my favorite part about PC, man. Like, you just I don't know. You don't see that on console. And now to be fair, I'm a little biased. Like the only console I do have is a Nintendo Switch.
And yes, their shit's just like always expensive. But I don't know. I just feel like even when I was playing Xbox back in the day, I had like, you know, five to 10 games at a time. Like cuz they were just they just costed so much more.
It wasn't like PC where you could borderline just collect games for fun and not think about it. I feel like with console, you got to really be you got to be really thinking and really catching sales if you actually want like anything at a remotely good price.
So that's why I always tell people I'm like, "Look, PC, it'll cost a little more than a console up front, especially if you want a good experience. You might spend an extra few hundred over a console, but let's be realistic. You're going to save so much money on games."
And not to mention my Steam library, I made my Steam account in 2010. What console was out? That would have been the original Xbox 360, right? Since then, we have had what, two to three new versions of Xbox and PlayStation by then. We're about to have a new one soon, probably for both of those. And half those games you can't play on the newer consoles. Half them don't even have DVD drives anymore, so you really can't even play. With with Steam, I can still hop on any of those games that I've had since 2010 on any PC I want anytime I want. I can literally just scan my QR code, log in, I can play any game I want. So, I don't know. I just feel like, and not to mention, a lot of those games I got for free are really cheap. Like, a lot of those games I got in like Humble Bundles. Um, I know those aren't quite as big as they once were, but they're still pretty dang good. Um, and then there's just so many big sales now. You get like the Steam summer sale, the winter, fall. I think there's like Prime Day sales even. There's like a sale for basically everything. They just want excuses to sell more games pretty much. Make more money, you know? And I'm here for it. Like, do your thing. Do your thing, King.
All right, hold on one second, chat.
We're going to get this PC. Make sure we got all the updates done.
Nvidia drivers look good. The only downside with my PC is only has 8 gigs of RAM. It's a little sad, but it is what it is.
The good news is my goal is very easy.
I'll be shocked if I somehow don't get it.
All right. Um, so now we can start messing with this other PC. I want to show you guys this again in case I know some of y'all didn't see this. This is insane. Uh, he's at the dentist right now. So, I don't think he'll make it to the stream, but he could. It just depends on how how deep they're going in the mouth.
Now, I know um I literally just started going to the dentist again. Highly recommend it for everyone, right? Um I hadn't been to the dentist in like I want to say, let me think, 28. I probably had been to the dentist um that I know of since I was like maybe 14, 15 years old. So 10 plus years, right? I hadn't been to the dentist at all. Not even for a cleaning, not a checkup, nothing. Um I finally told myself, you know, because the reason I didn't go, by the way, it it wasn't really money. It wasn't really um that I thought waste time. It was generally just fear. I just I I have white coat syndrome. I don't like the doctors. I don't like dentist. I don't even like the eye doctor. and like they've never done anything bad to me.
Thank you, Top Dog. 55 months. I'm I genuinely that's just that's one of my fears in life. I just don't like um any anything that I get I I'm scared of getting probed. All right? You know, um so anyways, I finally started going and I'm doing every six months now, you know. I'm like because that's what they wanted. You know, that's what they suggested. I'm like, "All right, six month cleaning. Let's do it. Six month cleaning and checkup." Um so I I went and the first time I went, they told me I was impressed. I only had three cavities and they weren't bad. They were very easy fixes, which is great. So, I got my cleaning done. I got those three cavities done. And then they were also like, "Hey, you need all of your wisdom teeth removed." And I was just like, "Okay." So, which obviously at the age the ripe age of 27 is they don't love doing it, but you like you can still do it. You know what I mean? So, I uh I went and did that back in November.
Yeah, I did that in November. It was a it was a recovery process, let me tell you. But it it wasn't it wasn't terrible. Um it wasn't terrible. And honestly, every time I've been to the dentist, it hasn't been horrible. I don't love it. You know, I get some heart racing and when they're in there with the drills and stuff, it's it's not fun. But honestly, I will take a lot of the dental procedures I've had over just going and getting my blood drawn. I I I hate that's my least favorite part of the doctor is like, you know how any good doctor wants you to get lab work done every year, right? Um as long assuming you're healthy. Maybe if you're not healthy, maybe even more. Mine likes it every year. Um, and oh my god, did I dread it. I think my next one's like in October. Um, but when I was kind of having like a little bit of a health crisis. Oh, dude. I had blood drawn like I'm going to say within six months, probably like seven times. Oh, dude. I hated it. I hated it. You had yours removed at 22. I had to cut them out, dude. Mine I had to have all four removed and one of my bottom ones it was grown into the nerve. So, one of them they had to uh it's kind of graphic sounding, but I mean I don't know. It didn't bother me too much. They had to split it in half with like a drill basically. I mean, the the the dude that did my teeth like he had to be on the spectrum because he really cool guy by the way, super smart, really nice guy, but he was just very like, you know, not real joke. He just very like, "Yeah, we're gonna have to get in there and just, you know, it's gonna basically be like a jackhammer, you know, we're just going to break it in half." And I was just like, "Oh god." H boys and loving rage uh Hulk multiple villain Spider-Man brand new day. Nice.
Talking about teeth is enough for me.
I'm saying.
But anyways though, my teeth are pretty good now. Uh which is great. They I have one that they said they're kind of watching that where it's kind of like a it could be a cavity forming, but it is what it is, you know. I'm definitely not drinking nearly as much. Um I I have almost no sugar now. Well, I still eat some stuff obviously has sugar in it, but I'm really not drinking soft drink.
I mean, even as an idea, chat, I used to be really bad. I used to drink like when I was a mechanic and like just in high school in general and even for the last like I mean this is a recent thing like within the last like couple years I had no joke could have like a whole gas station like Big Gulf whatever like 44 ounce. I could drink that whole thing of like Mountain Dew Dr. Pepper and then I could also have like a freaking canned soda too. I no joke on average is probably having like 200% of my daily value of sugar like every single day.
Yeah. Not good. Not good for you, right?
Um and so finally the honestly just thinking about like diabetes and dental work was my like break where I was like all right I'm not doing this anymore. So almost everything I drink now is sugar-free which I know in its own way is not like amazing. Um but this is what I want to show you chat before I start going on a tangent with the dentist. By the way, this is a mesh panel. And I know it almost looks like it has a cool gray design to it. No, no, no. This is black underneath here. It's like a a black screen material, like a plastic screen. This is dust. Yeah. So, we're not going to blow this out in here. And that is why we got the portable camera ready to go. And um I guess I'll I'm just going to leave Let me make sure this isn't super dusty. No, not at all.
All right. We're just going to leave the front panel in here. And I guess we'll just I think we can just use the little mini blower and just take it out front.
I don't think it's that serious where I need to like We have a big air compressor in the back. By the way, who cares, Jackson? Sugar, no sugar. Same [ __ ] I mean, all right, here's the other thing, too. I learned this fun fact. Um, one of the things that's just as bad, I think it's just as bad, if not maybe worse than sugar in drinks is carbonation. Um, I didn't know this until kind of more recently, but apparently it's what is it? Carbonic acid, which basically is carbonation.
Um, so like the the citric acid, which is in almost every drink to give it that nice um kind of zesty flavor, you know, almost every drink has like some citric acids in it or other types of acids. And then carbonation, those apparently are like just as bad for your teeth. Um, so basically, yeah, you can't win. You can't enjoy anything in life. Um, so you know, the way I look at it is, uh, Cheers. You know what I mean? Let's see what's in this. What's What's better about this one? This one has carbonated water. So, there we go. Citric acid is the the literally number two ingredient.
So, you know, not great. Absorbic acid.
Not great for your teeth. Um, yeah.
Bunch of stuff in it, but you know, it is what it is.
Chaotic. I did anything wrong. I just responded about sugar. I don't think uh I don't know. I didn't even see it.
I have extra dog tooth. Oh, like an extra canine. Dude, I feel like that's like rare. I don't know if I've ever seen anyone have an extra canine. Okay, let me go ahead and get um this thing set up.
The fun part for me is honestly just trying to work an iPhone.
I'm kind of It's funny because like for me, I'm so used to Android, which I I I think iPhone's easier by the way. I am an Android guy, but I really do think just in all honesty, I only use my phone for internet, some apps, texting. That's about it. I could be on an iPhone or an Android. I'm not like a big tinkerer when it comes to my phone. Every time I pick up an iPhone, it just feels so hard for me to use for some reason. Here she is, chat. Okay, so what we're going to do is we're going to press go live on here. Yep, go live. All right. Um, give me one second, chat. I'll still be talking to you guys with my mic here.
And we're going to go over to change the source here. Hello, Zach.
>> Hey, what's up?
>> Traffic's bad.
>> Yeah, >> because of like the um maybe a tree down or something.
>> All right. Um give me one second, chat.
I'll still be talking to you guys with my mic here. And we're going to go over to change the source here. Hello, Zach.
>> Hey, what's up, >> man? That traffic was so bad.
>> Traffic's bad? Yeah, >> because of like the um maybe a tree down or something.
>> Yeah, there's something that's all smoke, but everyone had to like turn around one way, >> right? All right, chat. Can you guys hear this? Okay. Um I just realized I don't have the gimbal. That'd probably make your experience a lot better. I I realized how when you're using this app, there's no stabilization. Um so if you look, it's like very very shaky. But I think we got gimbal right here. I think this is the one that we always use.
Yeah, this looks right. I've actually never I mean I've held this, but I've never really used it. So, here's to learning new things, Chad.
Oh, but I'm really hyped, guys. So, I have this new tripod coming. I have never spent um so much on a tripod. Um how Okay, so I just So, phone camera direction like this. I guess you really got to stretch that thing.
All right, now we turn it on.
How do we turn it on?
Oh, power button mode.
And it's on. Oh, that's not the mode I want. Let's flip it.
Do we double tap? Ah, see, Chad, I'm I'm smarter than I look, Chad. I'm smarter than I look. Does uh is the audio okay, guys? I know it probably got either really loud or really quiet, but as long as it's like clear, that's cool. That's it's fine with me.
This gimbal's pretty cool, though. You can do like So, right now, you guys can't see what I'm doing, but I'm legit like it's upside down right now. I'm fully rotating my arm, and look at how it's just Yeah, pretty still. The gimbals are cool for stuff like this.
Oh, okay. So, the tripod. Um, sorry. I know I I'm like so ADD when I do these streams. Um, I bought a tripod was like 320 bucks and that was the cheap version. It's called the um, is it the Tribix? Uh, here I'll just show you guys real quick so I don't keep talking about it and like leading you all on like what is this freaking tripod? So, it is like a quick adjust and it's actually a collab um, with a pretty popular um, streamer or a pretty popular YouTube guy. Okay, so here it is right here. Let me turn this around.
So, this is a $320.
There's There's that. This is a $320 tripod. That is Small Rig X Potato. So, Potato is the uh the YouTuber. Um Small Rig you guys probably have heard of before. They're a really big like camera equipment company. Um yeah, I spent $320 in this bad boy and that is triple. Like the most we've ever spent is uh we have a couple of these tripods. These are carbon fiber, but they're Amazon specials. Uh if you guys ever want to look these up, they're on Amazon. It's what is that? Ker Carver, maybe. Um, but they're, you know, they're about 100 bucks. They're not super uh cheap, but they're pretty solid. They have really good fluid heads, which is nice for getting B-roll, smooth pans. They adjust well. These have lasted way longer than any other tripod we've ever owned. Um, because normally we've spent like 50 to 70 on tripods. This one, what makes it really cool is it is a quick adjust tripod. That's really the only reason I bought this. It wasn't because I was like, "Oh, it just looks, you know, the specs are so cool. I didn't really care a ton about the specs because honestly every tripod kind of has its like downsides. Um I'm trying to see if I can find a video.
Let's see. Video. Uhhuh. So check this out.
So it literally has like a quick release.
Sorry, it's probably really loud.
So it has like a quick release where you can literally just like press a clamp and all the legs will come out. And then obviously if you want to put it down, you hold the clamp while you push it on the ground or whatever surface you're on. But it's cool because it's basically self-leveling. It is on the heavy side.
Dino, you're correct about that. I think it weighs 8.3 lb. Um, that's people's number one complaint, but in all honesty, I'm not buying this for portability. I bought this tripod because I want to use it at home because I do not have a fluid head tripod at all. My camera at home, so we have this cool feature um, and I promise this isn't me being 80. Uh, we have a cool feature on our cameras, right? It's called live crop. Let me show you guys this. Let me let me put you all on this because this is a very cool feature that a lot of people don't know exists and it's only in some cameras. So not go if I go here. I'm going to do 20 seconds and I can drag these. So this is the start. This is the end, right? And now oh it's not going to work because there's no SD card. Basically what it would do is it'd go in that box and it would do a smooth 20 second pan and end in this box. So rather than having to get out that giant slider, which is what we used to always use, which that's cool because, you know, we can get these really cool back and forth slow panning shots, we can use this now, which is so much easier. So much easier than I mean, every single time you guys saw us getting B-roll with that, we have to manually set up the boundaries every single time. It it would take about 5 minutes to set the thing up every time we want to do any video. So Live Crop has been a lifesaver. Now, my camera at home, I have a nice Nikon. It does not have Live Crop. It is heartbreaking. I'm not going to get a new $2,000 plus camera, though just to get live crop.
So, the the next best solution, and I guess I'll demo this real quick for you guys. Um, here's a great way to get B-roll. This is how we used to always do it before we had live crop as well. So, you loosen your fluid head tripod. And actually, these will kind of do it on their own. Do you see how smooth that pan is? And look at the screen evenly smooth. And then, you know, you can kind of get fancy with it. We used to do a lot of our own hand work where we kind of just really slowly pan up. So, a lot of people don't know that. That's how we used to get all of our B-roll. I mean, for a long time, we still get some B-roll like that today even. Um, we'll still use fluid head tripods to actually get um, you know, nice smooth motion. You can go side to side as well by loosening this. Same thing. You just got to have a really steady hand. A lot of times we'll hold the tripod with one hand and then use our dom in our right hand to basically get those smooth pans. So, long story short, my camera at home, like I said, doesn't have any type of um live crop.
So, I'm forced to get something that can do B-roll for me. And well, I figured, hey, why not a cool tripod like that?
And if we really like it, maybe we'll get one here for the office because that's honestly a really annoying part is having to adjust the tripod every time um to different heights and stuff for each room and each shot that we're doing.
So, that's kind of the thought, you know, being able to It's like, you know, you guys know how life is. Every little thing you can get to make life a little easier, a little more fun, a little fancier. It's like, why not?
All right, so I'm going to go and get the sticky note off. Um, and I think Matt I feel like I just saw Matt. Um, we're going to go ahead and take this out front and beat it to death. Just kidding.
We go this way now. Matt is here.
>> Hello, >> Matt. Say hi. I know.
>> Look who figured everything out.
>> Yes. Let's go, >> dude. I was like I was like I've never set this gimbal up before. I've never actually used What is this app called again with the Pepe?
>> Moblin.
>> Moblin. I do love the logo. The logo is heat. So, we got Blow Matron 5000 here, chat.
And I'm getting ready to go blow out that uh that PC >> before.
>> Oh, you got it. Sick. Did that actually work for you for what you're trying to do?
>> Huh? Did it actually work for what you're trying to use it for?
>> Yeah, cuz when I was trying to um figure out where a leak was, I just used the camera up there and it showed like an obvious like hole spot.
>> That's sick.
>> It feels so good when you can actually use I think we paid like $500 for that.
>> I got a use for it.
>> All right. Um so yeah, I wanted to take this up front.
>> I just finished all my my B-roll um for my PC. I got like 12 shots of it. Um and I got Apex and every everything's good to go on. It should be. I think I still need to set up MSI After Burner, but it's on there.
>> Oh, I love this.
>> Yeah, dude. It uh >> had to go crazy with it.
>> It got freak mode, but it kind of looks cool. I told them multiple times. Like, yeah, honestly, as as per usual, I kind of cheated in a few ways. Like, for one, I used paint. I don't know if you could tell, but I painted the front and side panel.
>> Oh, you did?
>> Well, cuz there was like just all these scratches and stuff from where I cut.
So, I was like, "Well, I'm going to make this thing look good. I don't care if Matt says I lost. That's fine with me."
I lose most of the challenges because I usually do something like this.
>> And that's okay because I said, "Would you guys rather be entertained or me follow the rules?"
>> They said, "Yo, where's my Starbucks?"
>> Oh, my bad.
>> Matt brought us coffee. Uh oh, dude.
They're after you.
>> My bad. No, I don't even get coffee.
Right by my doctor's office.
>> He said, "Does Matt ever wear regular pants or shorts? Those are pretty normal. They're just joggers.
>> Joggers.
>> They're like a jogger sweatpant."
>> Mhm.
>> Matt, what do you mean by that? Are we talking like Are we talking like jeans or khakis?
>> I don't really wear jeans very much at all. You used to wear khakis a lot, but no.
>> I remember in high school you wore khakis ais lot. I don't think I've ever seen you in jeans.
>> Mhm. Never been my thing.
>> Dude, imagine you in some skinny jeans.
>> Uh, so do we prefer a gimbal mount for stuff like that? Have you tried uh the Meta glasses?
>> We have them. Um, there's a lot of downside. So number one is for this it'd be horrible. We only get 3 minute burst of uh film and it's only vertical. And on top of that, >> the hack with these you can actually live stream from them. people have done where you live stream to an account and they use that. There's unlimited live streaming.
>> Okay.
>> So, people will live stream and then pull the VOD and that's how they get around it. But, um, yeah. No recording limitations obviously with these.
>> But, the gimbal's really cool though for like what we're doing here because this app has like no stabilization enabled.
Um, and you guys could see that when I first started the stream and I was holding the phone. It it looks pretty jarring. Um, so the gimbal is really cool for that. Um, our cameras all have inbody stabilization. IB or IB said IBS again. Um, >> Snapchat has glasses. That's something.
>> Skinny jeans. Yeah, I'm about the skinny jeans.
>> We do need to do some type of like theme day to work someday. Wizard Row would be kind of funny. Like if we had like a fantasy day, you know, where we all did dress up like uh fantasy figures.
>> What's up, Jordan? I haven't seen Jordan fit in a bit. What's up?
>> I don't think I have either.
>> Jordan, you feeling still fit?
>> You think he's gained weight? You never know. Buy some acid wash jeans. That's insane. I'm good off that.
>> Get him. Get him 4x4.
>> I think I'm like a 36 30 36 32.
>> No, I feel like Matt went to Jenos.
>> You remember that trend? And then what did where was that from? Was that on like stream or did we do something with like chat GBT? I remember there was something that said something about us wearing Jenos jeans.
>> Someone in chat want us to get go jeans.
You've always been a blue jean kind of guy. Durable working outside.
>> I could have told you that. Kermit.
Yeah, I know. Kermit.
>> I don't think you can be in Texas and not have jeans.
>> Kermit. I'm a jean.
>> I like I like wearing jeans every so often. To me, they're kind of like a I wanted to look a little nicer today, but not like too nice. And I'm okay with these getting really dirty.
>> 28 long. Yeah, let's just show all the ankle.
>> Who's dressing up as the goblin bar wench?
>> Jeno's coming back. Is it?
>> Yeah.
>> My wife uses them now for photography sessions. Infers the phone mounts the camera. You talk about the glasses. The glasses are cool if you're doing like vertical social media and you want just like behind the scenes stuff like obviously it's really cool for that but just the limitations of recording I wouldn't use it for like what we use it for.
>> I mean I guess a good example though of you know when I was solo there trying to get the PC outside that would be a cool time for me to have those on to be able to blow the PC out in POV form. Uh but luckily there's pretty much always two of us so we kind of always have a camera person.
>> I do take creatine. Yes. I actually just took mine cuz I had to fast this morning for blood work. So I just brought it in with me.
Oh, was that dentist yesterday? Doctor today.
>> Dennis yesterday. I had it backwards this morning.
>> I had it backwards.
>> Is there even like an actual physical or is it just lab work?
>> It's a normal physical. They just kind of do usual like make sure I'm not dying, asking problems, >> and then uh blood work.
>> One of these.
>> Then after my one incident that I had a urine test to see if there's something going wrong.
>> Oh, that's fun. I had to do one of those like I don't even know how many years ago. The best part was was last time I had to go to the doctor and I had to get full fondled and and because I have a lady doctor, there had to be another lady in there to watch and I was like, "This feels >> this feels like a cuck situation."
>> It's so fun peeing in a cup.
>> Yeah.
>> Well, pushing up mic up. Matt, are you What?
>> It's on this.
>> It's on this. Should be able to hear me just as much as >> You're probably hearing me louder.
>> Yeah.
>> Yeah. Sorry. I'll back up a little bit.
>> Yeah.
>> Um >> Yeah. Blood work in the dentist would go crazy. No, that that's I had to think about it and I was like, man, >> can they even do that?
>> No, I just kind of lined up. My dentist got delayed so many times. Um I ended up getting um it pushed back to where I had the dentist yesterday after work and then my doctor's appointment was this morning.
>> It's a lot of ones. Yeah, that he's getting an overhaul at that point.
>> Mhm.
>> Any cavities?
>> No cavities. Cleaned up. The full frontal. Yep.
>> Yeah. I haven't had any cavities since those uh those three that I had after not going for 10 years. There there's one I don't know if they ever do this to you that like do they have do they ever have like spots you're like we're going to keep an eye on it or anything. I I have one of those like we're going to keep an eye on it but that's been twice now they've said that. So I'm like well >> I have like a ridge in my apparently I have like this weird ridge in one of my back teeth. She's like it's just weirdly like like almost carved in. She's like you just got to keep that extra clean cuz you could probably get cavities pretty easily. I think that's mine is the same thing where I know they show me pictures and it's like a a crevice where they said that some people's are a lot more pronounced than others and it's like really hard to keep that like with sugar not from just sitting on it.
>> Turns out the nurse didn't even work there.
>> Yeah. Why did the nurse ask if she could have a turn?
>> She said, "Hold on, let me let me check."
>> And that supposed nurse then went back in the wait room, sat down, waited for their turn, like wait a minute.
>> Yeah. They said, "You can come in now."
And I'm like, "Wait, hold up. Wait a minute.
Some people take the checkup uh the wrong way. Got to have a witness in case they get too friendly. No, I mean I get it.
>> That was an adventure getting that monitor mounted on my desk.
>> Oh yeah, >> it's it's on there though.
>> So you said you had to buy like a counterweed stand.
>> That looks great.
>> Uh but I No, I I had to buy a new monitor arm. The one I had was like those really cheap ones that obviously you look up the weight supported. It's only up to like a 30-inch monitor at like >> whatever pounds. Like I like one of the gas mount ones. So, I had to get one of those and then I use that for the mountain. It's holding strong, >> man. It's It's crazy to think about how long um I think we all had ours for a while, but you remember was it was it the Echo Gear one?
>> Echo Gear. Yeah.
>> No, Echo Gear is a clothing brand, isn't it?
>> Is it? I thought it was Echo something.
>> Yeah, it was like Earth or Echo or Yeah.
>> Oh, we got from Pack.
>> Remember we all You had the one No, it was Zach. Zach had the one that was called like the bow and arrow where it was three. Yeah, I never already had them at the time.
>> I feel like we had those forever. I wonder if Zach still has his even if this will just point me in the right direction.
>> Does that say Echo? Oh, wait. Right there.
>> Yeah, it is Echo Gear.
>> Huh?
>> Echo Gear monitor mount. And the new TV mounts.
>> They're still around.
>> They do.
>> I never forget that was like our first like is that Dei DeVito is like Jesus in the left corner?
>> It is. I remember that was like our first like we actually did like an that was back when like we were interviewing people which didn't really which is weird to think about.
>> I don't know what we were doing back then.
>> I don't know.
>> I did TV mounts. You don't even have mounts anymore.
>> TV mounts.
>> Big mount.
>> Maybe they're just in the TV game.
>> There's more money in the TV mounting game.
>> Yeah. All right. You want to >> Duster? Yep. I'll hold her up.
>> Okay, Duster. I got the duster um out front.
>> Here we go.
>> Ready to go.
I got my key. Oink. Oink. Z pals.
>> That was a launch when I got woken up from all the tornado stuff. I just saw like all the things on the news about just just literally going over where you were.
>> Yeah. And and um it was weird because we didn't there wasn't even a an alarm going off like no siren. And honestly Yeah. said there was like some sticks on the ground, but like it really wasn't bad. So, I don't know. I don't know. I mean, these weather people are just something.
>> You going to blow >> blow? Here we go. I need to take this cover off.
>> Chad, this is going to be insane. Does it come off?
>> Um, I don't think it does. It looked like it did. This front it's like >> you blow it if you want. Yeah. Trying to save it. Just going in there. Let's actually Let's do it this way.
>> Yeah. Yeah. From the front. I'll get a side POV chat.
>> You already know, guys. It's going to be insane.
>> Dang, that's thick.
>> God damn.
>> I thought it was going to come off a lot more satisfying.
>> No, it's kind of clumpy.
You should have brought the horsehair brush out here.
It came right off with your fingers.
Might need to find a way to take it off.
It's not going to let me grab the Let me grab the horseair brush. I feel like that'll do it.
>> Keep going with this.
>> Oh, she dead. So, >> no way.
>> She just died.
>> Do we still the other one? Uh somewhere maybe >> probably not char one dies kind of quick.
>> Yeah.
Little guy's dead chat about the rain cleaning. It's not raining right now. It was like really raining last night.
Old girl's dead. Just don't run. It might be fine. We'll see.
Got a little more left. Surprisingly, it's still dark.
>> I think I think it like >> either way it just like clumps it up.
>> Yeah. You ain't never see a PC get double team like this, have you all?
>> I think it's time out on the max.
>> Huh?
cry a lot for the battery is ready for the next 48 hour live stream.
>> You know, we they knew that we're like halfway through that. It's kind of crazy. Or almost halfway.
>> Almost halfway there.
>> This is not bad.
>> No, that's about it.
>> Yeah. No dust could get anywhere else but inside or outside. I mean uses brush more. It's kind of nice. It really gets in the ball fondling and double teaming here on stream day. That's the only way to go.
Feel >> pretty good about that. Oh yeah, it looks significantly better. You can actually see the fans. Wow.
>> Honestly, it might just need maybe like some thermal paste and a little bit of wiping.
>> Ain't ain't need much. She good.
>> And then really just the I don't like the cables. The cables up top need like a little bit of love. But >> yeah, >> thanks. Thanks, Joe.
>> I can never remember what was there like the double set of keys. Did we put like a camera there temporarily? Uh, yes. I think it was a one like one of the video doorbells for an ad.
>> Yeah.
>> Got a big raindrop hit my shoulder.
>> Raindrop.
>> Drop top.
>> Sner says he wants a little bit of wiping.
>> What?
>> Someone to wipe him.
>> Such a good He's going to be good in the home. when we put him in the home.
>> Yeah, Snark, we are going to put you in a home. By the way, we can't take care of you.
>> We can't do it. Sorry, >> Matt. Uh, say that to all the boys.
>> Huh?
>> What did that mean?
>> Dang. I don't know what that means.
>> Was this a pre-built?
>> K management's fire.
>> H.
>> It feels very pre-builty.
>> Oh, Skyech.
>> Oh, Skyech. That's why. Okay. SK are pretty good at that.
>> Built in 2025.
>> Nice.
>> Yeah, Sky Tech's normally pretty good at the cable management.
>> I don't know what the hell I don't know what they did to the front, though. Why they ran this cable the way they did.
>> That's everything else looks pretty good.
>> Oh, might need a little wiping. Yeah, say that to all the boys. I might need a little wiping here, boys.
>> Wipe me down. Wipe me down. [ __ ] Squeegee that front window. Nah.
That sounds like a lot of work. We'll get um the guy used to always do Jimmy's.
>> Yep. Clean some windows.
>> Squeegee it.
>> Jimmy really liked having clean windows cuz I remember he made me do it like every morning.
>> I love Pro PC. Do you have ZGT's number?
Can you ask him if he's going to live stream tonight? Are you kidding me? What is >> up? Yeah, we'll hit him up real quick.
I'll let him know.
I'll ask him real quick.
>> I feel like I should just send that a screenshot of that Instagram.
>> Yeah, this show be like the box we used yesterday, right?
>> I think so.
>> Okay.
>> What's good? Slime.
>> Slime.
>> Throw a little zippy dooah day on this one.
>> Well, if I wanted a blower like that one with a cleaning kit, you'd go to PC Bros.
>> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, PC bro is that a like a >> that was a setup plug from GoGo Gadget.
>> Go Gadget. You shouldn't have.
>> Jackson, >> maybe Go Gadget has YouTube in his future >> or past even. I don't know.
>> Jonah usually licks it, but he's on vacation. Lick what?
>> The PC's clean.
>> Oh, okay. That makes sense. I can see the vibe.
>> Jonah usually licks us clean.
>> Yeah, Johnny normally keeps us clean, but unfortunately >> he's like a cat. Dude, look at this GPU sag bracket.
>> It's being a little well GPU.
>> Okay, let's uh >> We just did the plug, bro. What do you mean you tried twice? We did it.
>> Eclamation point PC Bros in the chat.
Buy a PC Bros cleaning kit.
>> Duh. Duh.
Ma, >> how does it look?
>> It's on a weird ass RGB mode, but >> it's weird looking. I don't like how there's like some some yellows in there.
I >> think it's on a reset switch.
>> Yep.
Oh, but the top is not. Can we go ARGB mode?
>> Ah, >> I would have known it was Skyitech once you booted it up.
>> Yep.
I got to load up the Skitec app.
>> Boo.
>> Signal. Signal.
>> What's going on here?
>> Just streaming.
>> Just a Oh, yeah. I just was going portable because we had to clean out this PC outside.
>> Nice. Nice.
>> Too dirty.
>> Wondering if I should.
>> I'll do thermal paste.
>> Yeah, might as well.
>> Time.
>> We got time. Four minutes. Four minute thermal paste.
>> Did you have to move for the storm?
Wait.
>> Yeah.
>> To be fair, I wouldn't I am much more white and I'd be the type to like normally just go outside. Emily's very like as soon as that alarm wakes us up, she's we can go in the basement now. I'm just like >> I kind of just sat in the living room where I was like right next to where I could go if I felt like I was in danger.
But because I don't really have like a basement or anything. The best spot I have is like the central it would be my bathroom. It's the most centered part of the >> You have the crawl space, bro.
>> Oh yeah, I'll go in the crawl.
>> Yeah, I'd rather die. I'd rather die in the bathroom than go in a crawl space and die.
>> Now cast I have a basement now. We have a completed basement now that couch. So, it was it went down there and it was like this is actually kind of >> you guys. I lost power for like a split like maybe like >> I didn't lose power.
>> We lost power recently, but it was like a fuse blew and I wonder if that's going to keep us from losing power like as easily in the future >> cuz I'm like I wonder if that fuse could blow pretty easily during the storm, >> but it blew during the middle of a normal day. So, it was like fixed in 15 minutes and now I'm like wonder if we have a new one. Will we protect it for a little bit?
>> Who puts a micro ATX in an ATX case? Po companies.
>> Po. Yeah, all of them. They're starting to get a little better, but even then, I mean, any of the builds that are really good bang for buck, this is usually how they do it.
But it's like we always say, aesthetically, not the most pleasing, but realistically for performance, it doesn't change anything. So, it's kind of like, well, just like this is basically getting extreme bureau. Here we go. We're going to do a little pan and then we go Wait, wait, wait, wait.
This is what this we're talking about.
Ready?
Oh, dude. How's that look? My bed's so fire.
>> Oh, wait. I can do I can pan down while I'm doing it.
>> Oh, wait. That went too quick. All right. I'm practicing. I'm practicing.
>> Keep her steady. Keep her steady.
>> L- roll.
>> Selling cheap furniture on Marketplace is actually going to make me kill myself.
>> Yep.
>> I have people asking me if I would deliver them a $15 item to shine. I'm like, "Bro, no."
>> You love that place.
>> People like lowballing me saying, "Will you take 10?" I'm like, "Bro, >> it's going to get to the point we're just going have to sit on the side of the road when you leave and be like, come take it. It's free." 15 bucks I'm about to get.
>> This is weird. I've never It has a latch on both sides.
>> Oh, >> I don't think I've ever seen that before.
>> What shape is this?
>> God. Um, what's 12?
>> Oh, no. It's rising.
>> I would say it's Ryzen.
>> You took the cover off.
You know, honestly, the thermal paste looks not amazing. So, guess I'm glad we're doing this sine or something.
>> Was as bad as thrown paste on my uh pre-built PC. That was crusty as hell.
>> The uh the cuck one. Oh, you mean the one from Yeah, mine. Mine was actually new.
>> Yours was new? Wow. Your company actually took care of it. Mine was dirty as hell. That's why I was so cheap.
>> Had some uh some dirt. I still can't I I I you know my graphics card heard besides that one weird thing I sent you and I think I just restarted and it was fine. Dude, it was doing like picture and picture with the Dell logo in the back.
>> That's the thing you said. I was like what the hell is that?
>> This is a 7700X >> with DDR5 of course.
>> Of course.
>> Dual channel chat.
>> The only way working.
>> That is true. That is true.
Let's throw our MX4 on there cuz we can't afford MX7 in this economy.
>> Trey, you like this? Uh, >> you like how close you guys are?
>> This like IRL like PC.
It It really limits us. Obviously, only one person can be working on, but I think it's a fun little switch up.
Okay, the latches are kind of giving aids a little bit.
What intervals should I be doing my new thermal paste on my CPU? Like yearly? I wouldn't do yearly.
>> No, that's it. I mean, it depends on how you feel. I would replace mine when I'm overheating.
>> Yes.
>> I would just keep an eye on your temperatures every so often or you're noticing like, "Hey, stuff's slowing down randomly." And then I'm like, "Oh, well."
>> Yeah. Are you thermal throttling? That's the tough part, too, is like as your PC gets older too and games get harder to run, like your your temps may go up for other reasons. your pump may start to, you know, wear a little bit. Fans aren't spinning as cleanly.
>> Yep. 77RX is a good CPU.
>> So, basically what thermal paste does is a CPU and a CPU die are porous microscopically. Like metal on metal, there's a bunch of little imperfections and stuff. Thermal paste basically just helps bridge those gaps um to help thermal conductivity like to help heat transfer.
So, it it it honestly is a weird concept on paper. It's kind of why liquid metal sounds like it makes sense.
>> Yes.
>> Um because it's like bridging the gap with actual metal. And I guess that's why it's so cool.
>> Biggest downside with liquid metal is it's too liquidy. It doesn't stay where it's supposed to.
>> And it's literally has metal in it.
>> And there is metal in it. So there's there's downsides to it to it being liquidy cuz if it gets on components, it can kill things.
>> Let's see what it looks like now.
>> Got the block all cleaned off.
>> Chad, I think this was a good little flip here. We bought this at a PC. We've been buying build. People are like >> I think people are getting out of space right now.
>> Well, I have two theories. One is that people are getting out of space or two is everybody hears the news about how expensive PC stuff is now.
>> They just want to make some money.
>> Yep. Here's a chance for me to make some money.
>> All right, guys. Give you word of the day to keep your brain right away. Word of the day.
>> I think stuff was just so cheap for a while, you know, like consoles and PCs that people just had both and a lot of people like, I only use my >> I don't even use my Yeah. All right.
Word of the day is >> acquies.
>> Acquies. To acquies To acquies to something is to accept Wait, hold up. To acquies to something is to accept it, agree with it, or allow it to happen by staying silent and by not arguing.
>> I just noticed that >> acquies is somewhat foreign often used within or to. Eventually, the professor acquies two students request to have their seminar final class be a potluck lunch. Acquies.
>> What a good acquiesque.
>> Yes, sir. We're basically creating recession indicators. When people bring us PCs, we know the everything's cooked.
>> We we go through these weird phases and I I always wonder if there's something weird going on in the background because I don't I don't fully believe in coincidences usually, but like we've had like three monitor repairs come in or laptop screen repairs come in in the last like few days and normally we get like maybe one every like you know few weeks I guess.
So that's one where I'm like hm is like a certain time of year where people are Summer in general too, people just have more time to just do things that they normally wouldn't.
>> Yeah, I guess especially with school >> or more more motivation.
>> Yeah. Yeah. School though.
>> Yeah, that probably definitely the parents aren't having to they actually have time during the day.
>> I guess you think it could be the other way too. I know some parents may say and some of you in Chad may say when the kids are out of school, you have less time to do stuff because you're you're responsible for the kids >> unless they at the right age to just stay home alone.
>> Guide the ray to testy mint. Okay.
Remember that was the best feeling as a kid was once your parents finally were like how you going to stay home alone.
That Oh, dude. That was just like I'm gonna play video games for 12 hours.
>> Yeah, guys, we're not using um any of our mics right now. We're just using the on camera mics. That's why when Jackson's over here talking, he sounds a little farther away. So, Chad, I know some of you all are old Brexit users and Chad. Do you do you'all remember that feeling when your parents like you they first let you I remember mine if I remember right the first time I I really remember was I was at Tom's house and I think I was like >> maybe two. No, I'm just kidding. I think I was like right >> I think I was like 11 or 12 and I remember uh Tom needed to go do something and he asked my mom. She's like I guess so. And so I just stayed there alone. Remember I made mac and cheese >> and I didn't bring >> burn the house down.
>> I see. No, we we did not text ZTT. Join his Discord and ask him. You delinquent.
>> I know. You probably have his number. I don't know if I do.
>> I don't think I don't think I have his number.
>> You have Lion's Tech Tips in my phone, though. I've never texted him.
>> Yep. We saw the number he called from. I haven't texted that number since he called. So, how many years ago is that now? We're like >> If we're going to text that, we need a really good reason.
>> Yeah, we need a legit reason to text that number.
I do wonder if that's actually like is that his cell or >> or he like grabbed an employes phone and called us and said I'm like giving them my number or like this. Yeah, like a work phone >> because I feel like they could definitely have hookups to like phone services and stuff for cheap or free.
>> Yes.
>> This thing looks nice.
>> All right, guys. We're going to go on a raid. Look at that. She abute. And um did you um I was going to come in a little later tomorrow. I was going to come in normal time. Did you want to do a stream tomorrow or do you want to just say no stream tomorrow?
I was It's one of those things where depending on how late I stay up, I told Chad I was like there may not be a stream at all. It may be late.
>> Let's just tell him that. That's fine.
Yeah.
>> I just figured just whenever I I don't know if you're coming at all. I just >> I was going to come in maybe like I was I just didn't wasn't going to come in with like set hours. I may come in at like 10:00 and be here for like a couple hours and just help out or something like that.
>> So, >> cuz I'm mainly going to just work on the Doomsday PC. Yes.
>> And listings.
>> So, yes, maybe a stream tomorrow, but just bet on there not being one. Just be surprised if there is one. Let's just let's just say that cuz uh technically it's a holiday tomorrow. Um so but we're going to go on a raid guys. I'll leave you with Jackson.
>> I say Kermit lives basically with the ETT. So why don't you just hit him up?
>> Oh yeah, you basically do now.
>> I brought presents presents.
>> Little tripod.
>> Zach, did you notice um I Snapchat has glasses on now for the app?
>> Do you have your phone? Well, you mean like the the >> the icon? It's got like sunglasses >> because uh Snap released their new glasses. They're like, >> "Oh, the Meadows." Yeah, >> smart glasses, right?
>> That's so funny though. I I just Whenever I open like my apps and I see something out of place, I'm like, "Something's not right here."
>> I can smell something's wrong.
>> Hope you all enjoyed today's stream. We got a little bit of moving around, a little motion. You guys got to see a really good sneak peek of my PC in the video coming up.
Um, so yeah, it's a fun one, guys. So, don't forget tomorrow we do not have a set time to go live. We may not go live at all. Uh, so rather be live tomorrow one more time before the weekend or worst case, we'll see you guys on Sunday at 6 PM for a game stream.
