So people will be taken on board with proper protection and all the staff around will also wear proper infectious disease prevention materials and people will be on board. They will be There will be an intake and their medical situation will be assessed and they will be instructed about the the quarantine period afterwards.
Currently there are 25 crew members and a nurse and a doctor aboard. The 25 crew members all luckily don't have any symptoms so far.
Two people are Dutch crew members and 23 international crew members and they will go into quarantine here in Rotterdam. The two Dutch people will go to their home address and have a home quarantine and the 23 other people will stay in Rotterdam in a quarantine area that we specially designed for this purpose in the hospital.
Yes, so what's really important is that we have we have a good view of all the people involved and all the people that have been exposed to the virus and they are now being monitored daily and in quarantine to prevent any further spread if they become ill.
They will be housed in special quarantine units and they they will be able to go outside for fresh air and for a walk but they have to minimize contact.
This uh German passenger died indeed at 2:00 the 2nd of May aboard of the ship. She's in the morgue of the the crew ship and she will stay there and later today she will be removed by a specialized funeral service. She will be transported nearby a crematorium nearby Schiphol in accordance with an agreement with their family. She will be cremated and then her the remaining ashes will be handed over sent to their family.
Um the quarantine period started already on the 6th of May aboard of the ship. Then they were notified that it was really an infectious disease. So they took the measures to to cease the contact with the virus.
And then from that period on they have to be in a quarantine for 6 weeks. So this period will end until the 18th of June.
Uh they will stay in mobile home units in the harbor nearby the place where the ship will uh Um they will be tested as as we arrive and the crew members leave the ship and they will be will have a medical checkup.
They have a questionnaire. They will ask how was their mental welfare because they had very impactful weeks of course and then they will be transported by buses to a very nearby place we had made a bit of a quarantine village mobile home units where they individually will stay during the whole period of the quarantine if they are not repatriated to their home country.
