>> [music] [music] >> The first new feature is internet connectivity.
This section allows schools to add and manage [music] network records based on the internet services available in their respective schools.
To begin, the user will add a new network record and fill in the basic information. [music] First, select the internet service provider from the drop-down menu. Next, [music] select the type of internet connection. After that, choose the level of education covered by the internet service. [music] Then, select the purpose of the connection, whether it is for administrative use, class instruction, or both.
For the [music] subscription details, input the school's average monthly internet expense, the installation date, and the fund source used for the internet subscription.
Next, under speed information, [music] enter the subscribed speed details, including the subscribed download Mbps and subscribed upload Mbps.
The user [music] will also input the actual speed test results. To get the actual ping, actual download speed, and actual upload [music] speed, open your browser and search for speed test or visit speedtest by Ookla, [music] speedtest.net.
Click the go button and wait for the test to finish.
>> [music] >> Once done, you can copy your internet speed and ping results.
>> [music] >> For the reliability, coverage, and remarks section, indicate whether the internet service is reliable or not.
[music] Then, select the areas covered by the internet connection within the school. Lastly, provide any important remarks [music] or additional details about the internet service.
The next feature [music] is location and access.
This section already contains the school's previous existing data.
The user only needs [music] to review the information and check all details that are applicable to the school.
Under school location, [music] select the applicable descriptions that best represent the school's location.
Next, under [music] access going to school, check the available routes or access conditions that apply.
>> [music] >> For available transportation, select the types of transportation commonly used to reach the school.
Lastly, the [music] user must input the travel details, including the travel cost from school to the school's division office, and the travel cost from school to the municipality.
>> [music] [music] >> The third feature is electrical supply.
In this section, [music] the user will fill in the details about the school's source of electricity.
>> [music] >> Select or check the applicable electricity source available in the school.
This may include [music] the main power source or other alternative sources of electricity.

The final feature is risk assessment.
This section allows [music] the school to identify possible risks and hazards that may affect the school community.
The user [music] must check all applicable risks and hazards based on the actual condition and surroundings of the school. [music] This information will help provide a clearer picture of the school's exposure to possible threats, hazards, [music] and safety concerns.
These new features in the DE Best School module will help improve the collection and monitoring of school information [music] related to connectivity, accessibility, electricity, and safety.
