All about me追加:
My name is Jocelyn. I am 17 years old. I am a student at Wachter High School and will graduate next year with the class of 2027.
I was [clears throat] born with cerebral palsy and want to share my story with you.
Basically, I have stiff muscles and balance issues.
I also have very poor eyesight and learning disabilities.
Doctors originally thought I would never walk, but I proved them wrong.
I can walk independently, but do have some falls at times.
I use a walker at school just to be safe and to prevent falling. I have been going to physical therapy since I was just 11 months old, practically my whole life.
I used to ride horses for therapy when I was 2 years old. My mom and I spent two summers in Florida for extensive therapy 5 days a week.
We had an apartment and lived just a few minutes from Disney.
We were able to go to the parks a few times.
Everyone who knows me knows my favorite character is Stitch.
I also used to go to gymnastics for additional exercise and was a cheerleader for the Northern Lights.
I had eye surgery when I was just 8 months old. I always have had tight hamstrings and used to walk on my tippy toes.
When I was very young, I used to get Botox injections in my legs to help loosen the muscles.
When I was in middle school, after getting Botox injections, I would have both of my legs in casts >> [snorts] >> to help stretch out the muscles.
I think that was the worst of anything, including surgeries.
I have been to Texas three times for surgery on my hamstrings, including having screws in my knees.
I have also had two other surgeries on my Achilles as well.
Some of my favorite things are K-pop music, huskies, drawing, and YouTube.
I hope you like my story and want to share it with your friends and family.
If you have any questions, please put it in the comments. Bye, guys.
