The Public Theater's Shakespeare for the City program returns to the Delacorte Theater in Central Park for a summer season of free Shakespeare performances, including Romeo and Juliet (May-June), The Winter's Tale (July-August), and Public Works Public Record (early September), with the Mobile Unit bringing As You Like It to all five boroughs in June.

The Public Theater's Shakespeare for the city kicks off May 22nd with a full season of live free theater. At the Delacorte in Central Park, Romeo and Juliet runs May through June, The Winter's Tale takes over July through August, and Public Works Public Record closes it out in early September. The Mobile Unit is also bringing As You Like It all five boroughs June 4th through 28th. Every performance is free and open to all. Some require tickets [music] and some are just show up.
