[00:00:43]You guys remember back in like 2022 or 2023, I love just like vlogging around Tokyo alone. And I think we should bring that back today. I also got some comments, although rare, saying I'm codependent, that I don't know how to be alone anymore. Uh, you don't know me.

[00:01:20]This honestly feels weird. I know I'm sounding very dramatic, but I haven't driven alone, especially in the daytime, for a long time. And I'm sure you guys know that Mr is always to my left and mama and Stewie are always in the back.

[00:01:32]But I'm genuinely also so excited to have this alone time with you guys as well. I know you guys love the videos with my family, but today is just you and me. And the first thing on the agenda might be a little bit nostalgic to some of you.

[00:01:46]Let's go. Oh my god, you guys. We have made it to our first stop of the day. I feel like it's been a while since I've talked to the camera by myself. We are literally going to Italy for lunch.

I need to get my usual. Thank god it's a little bit windy today so it's not too hot. I am in the sun and I am burning and the metal seat and the metal table are [ __ ] me up. It's literally cooking me alive. But today is a solo date day.

[00:02:34]Can you hear me? I feel like people think it's toxic to always be with your partner, but I feel like there's no one guide book or blueprint to how relationship should be. Nothing doesn't have to be inherently wrong or inherently right. Take for example monogamy versus polygamy. I feel like both are valid if it works for that specific couple. And that's okay. But why is it not okay for couples to always be with each other and always be together? Why do we have to label it as codependent when it's not even rooted in insecurity, but rather in genuine enjoyment of each other's company. Just because a couple is always spending time with each other and they live together doesn't mean they're not independent.

[00:03:06]Because independent doesn't have to mean you do everything by yourself. It can also mean doing what you think is best for you regardless of what people think or regardless of what the norm is.

[00:03:15]Independence is being able to think for yourself. And I as a couple, what we think works for us is doing everything together. And that's okay. It's not a bad thing. I have so much to say about this and I'm definitely going to get into it more. But my salad is here. I feel like I need to eat quickly because what possessed me to wear black today on a very sunny day.

[00:03:34]Oh my god. I am really enjoying my own company though. I was never the one to be ashamed of eating alone in public, let alone vlog and eat alone in public.

[00:03:42]See, I'm not like always with my boyfriend or with my family because I can't be alone. I love being alone. Is genuinely just like enjoying people's company because I'm an extrovert.

[00:03:57]>> We have so many things to do on our agenda. We're going to go to a museum that I've never been to. We're going to get a new iPhone 4.

[00:04:06]Anyway, let's just quickly eat so we don't sweat and cook ourselves to death.

[00:04:16]The next thing we're doing is we're going to this place called 2121 design site. I think it's a museum, but I think the architecture of the building is what's really popular there. It's $10 to go in. I haven't been to a museum in so so long. I think today is a good opportunity. I'm so happy today.

[00:04:33]Honestly, I've honestly just been having so much fun. It's only the second activity, but while I was eating at Italy, I was just reflecting on how happy I've been recently. I'm in such a good place in my life. A lot of loving people around me. I am enjoying my career so much. Obviously, in the past when I would go through something difficult, I would start going to therapy. I would start journaling. I would even start meditating. But I think what I failed to realize in the past is it's extremely and honestly equally as important to strengthen my mental health when I'm at my best. Because what I notice in myself when I'm feeling really good and happy and productive, I almost forget to take care of myself because of the high from everything combined with a mentality of I'm feeling good. I'm not sad, which means I don't need therapy. I don't need to journal. And that's when I go months and months and months with no therapy, no journaling, and it gets bad.

[00:05:18]I feel like this is so obvious to a lot of people already, but I realized that you have to do things for yourself to keep yourself in check even in your highs. And for me, that's journaling all the good things that happen in my life.

I mean, right away the architecture goes crazy. This is such a throwback. I'm just like walking around and exploring by myself, like getting lost by myself. Damn, that's cool. Or maybe because it's spring and this is the vibe I'm getting.

[00:09:22]This feels so nostalgic. Do you guys remember that video where I sat right outside the Imperial Palace and I'm just like yelling about spelling. I don't know why I remember that so vividly. But while I'm chilling here, I wanted to show you guys what I got from the museum cuz I love shopping. I ended up not getting anything for myself. I got something for Myrrh and Mama. For a mer I got this foods of different seasons. Mama has been cooking a lot for us and sometimes mama would say a specific Japanese ingredient and Mr. doesn't know it. So I think this is perfect for my to learn about the names of Japanese foods. And mama recently started using a pedometer.

[00:09:54]Those little keychains that track how many steps you get. She's been trying to do 10,000 steps every day. We are trying as well, but we're failing. And she said she wanted to make her pedometer a necklace. So I got her this. This is a YKK zipper necklace. I think it's perfect. She can attach her pedometer and she can always have it around her neck. She has an iPhone. I don't know why she's not using the health app on the iPhone to track her steps. The entire time I was there, I was just thinking about, I wish M was here to see this. I wish Mr was here because we would laugh about this. And see, that's one of the main reasons M and I are always doing things together. It's because we genuinely love the exact same things. We both love Pokémon, Sanrio characters, and makeup, shopping, skincare. We love clothes, coffee, matcha, find a lot of the same things cute and funny. We love the same foods.

[00:10:36]So, like why would I go to the Pokémon cafe for example alone if I know Mr would enjoy it with me and I would enjoy it more if Mr. was there as well. You know what I mean? But yeah, it's all coming from a place of actually wanting to experience things together. It has nothing to do with attachment issues.

[00:10:50]With that said, I'm probably coming back to this museum with M because I know he would love it as well. They have this food place at Tokyo Midtown, but I can't find like a good smoothie place. But I do know there's a Dean and Tiluca here.

[00:11:00]And I know they have this new drink with literally malongai. Malongai is moringa.

[00:11:05]It's like Filipino leaves. It's literally right here. It has banana, kale, and moringa.

I feel like I haven't explored or shopped enough at Aabai Hills. Aabai Hills is the tallest building in Tokyo and highkey. I want to live there in the future. Manifesting. Manifesting.

The first store I visited was Weirdly Uggs and they had really cute clogs, but I'm not trying to buy shoes two videos in a row. Remember these slippers I've been wanting from Kabango? They have this really cute color, but I stopped myself. I'm trying my best not to spend money mindlessly.

[00:13:12]Okay, you know what? [ __ ] this. These perfumes look so cute. Let me just smell them. I hope I don't like them. Well, [ __ ] I like them. Is this a bong in my aesthetic? The worst combination is me plus a furniture store with really colorful things. Like, do I need placemats for the dining table? For $30 each, though, I don't think so. They do have these round ones, perfect for our round table, colorful throw pillows, colorful vases, cute cafe selling cute plants, cute my cute bag, cute pot, cute lamp, cute chairs, cute dolls, sonnie angels, cute fan, cute wallet, dream book, dream book to be in. Get me out of this [ __ ] store.

And then let's get a new iPhone after. And by new, I mean old. We have made it to the cafe, you guys. And I didn't realize this is literally where the premiere for the boyfriend was. You know, the very first one. We had the watch party for both episodes one and two right here. This is such a massive coffee shop. Wait, I [ __ ] love the vibes here. I want to come with M.

[00:14:37]Look at the vibe inside, you guys. And they have like really yummy looking cookies, and they're massive. I got the matcha and raspberry cream cheese scone.

I'm genuinely just like doing what I enjoy and what I love.

I would always take the train and I would do like what two, three things in one day. But since I started driving, I could do like five, six, or sometimes even seven things in one day. and my vlogs are so much more jam-packed and I know you guys love that. But yeah, let's go drive to Akihabarat. I hope I find a nice iPhone 4 or like an iPhone 4S or something. I really want to use it for the camera for like the vinag.
