[00:00:17]I was watching this TV show that happens to be my favorite. I'm a nerd.

[00:00:21]>> [music] >> And that's Avatar: The Last Airbender.

[00:00:25]Probably a lot of people like it, except for you.

[00:00:28]>> I've never heard of it.

[00:00:30]>> That's why.

[00:00:31]Anyways, in that Airbender TV show, they bend elements. They can create fire, they can create snow, they can do whatever all these things.

[00:00:41]Now, an idea occurred to me. What if we were to use the world's largest sledgehammer to bend elements? We can create fire and I can create snow.

[00:00:51]>> Well, I can see how we can make fire. I guess you're just going to put that under there and have a couple little fires next to it and it's going to burn.

[00:00:58]>> Uh-huh.

[00:00:59]>> All right. So, but how are we going to create snow with gas?

[00:01:02]>> Well, that's it. The world's largest sledgehammer happens to have this thing with water. It turns it into this big mist of water vapors.

[00:01:12]And if you know how the >> [music] >> artificial snow parks work, they spray water in the air and then the water freezes before it hits the ground.

[00:01:23]>> But that's because the air is already cold.

[00:01:25]>> Uh-huh. And that's where the LPG comes in.

[00:01:27]>> Yeah.

[00:01:27]>> You know, when LPG is released really quick, it freezes all around and it gets really cold.

[00:01:32]>> Yeah, so when LPG expands, that gets cold, yeah?

[00:01:35]>> That's right. So, what if we were to put this LPG bottle inside a bucket, fill the bucket with water, crush them together, so the bucket is crushed, the water instantly evaporate into this weird tiny little droplets mist, and then the hammer also hits the LPG bottle, that explodes and all that energy is released at once, freezing instantly and freezing everything around it, which in this case is water and it will rain down as snow.

[00:02:04]>> I think you'll be struggling with that because I don't think we'll have enough volume there and I think the dice are warm.

[00:02:11]>> Nah, that's what LPG is for.

[00:02:13]>> Ah.

[00:02:15]It's a pirate?

[00:02:18]>> And a bucket of ice on the ground.

[00:02:19]>> Well, not solid but snow everywhere, yes.

[00:02:24]Well, we won't have any I don't think we'll have any snow.

[00:02:27]>> We have lots of snow.

[00:02:30]So, what do you think? Should we give it a try?

[00:02:33]>> Yeah, we'll give it a try.

[00:02:34]>> All right, here it is. This is going to be the scariest thing I've ever done.

[00:02:38]Um it's going to be biggest fireball with the world I just lit hammer.

[00:02:43]Here it is. Here you can see it sitting on the impact plate.

[00:02:47]Where there's going to be four igniters on the side helping the fire to ignite.

[00:02:52]The hammer is all the way up. It's ready. It's just waiting for Darren to give it the go-ahead and [music] we'll light it up. So, are you ready there, Darren?

[00:03:45]>> Well, I didn't really see much of it but I looked at it and saw a bit of a fireball there.

[00:04:02]Well, there's not much to display in here, so how about [music] we go and check out the high speed camera? This is going to be exciting.

[00:04:18]OH, WOW. DID YOU see that? Like It went out first, nothing, and then >> It ignited, yeah.

[00:04:24]>> I'm surprised it didn't smother the flames.

[00:04:33]So, that answers it.

[00:04:35]>> Here we go. The world's largest sledgehammer snow making machine, apparently.

[00:04:39]>> Snow making machine.

[00:04:44]What is that?

[00:04:45]>> James thinks his [music] ideas.

[00:04:46]>> I don't think anyone's done anything this stupid before.

[00:04:49]>> James definitely does stupid things.

[00:04:50]That's that's [music] for sure.

[00:04:52]He glued the gas bottle in the bottom there.

[00:04:54]>> Food coloring?

[00:04:56]>> Yeah, so we can see the snow.

[00:04:58]>> Red snow?

[00:04:59]>> What's that?

[00:05:00]>> Red snow, like blood.

[00:05:01]>> Yeah.

[00:05:03]All right, so we are about to create the world's first snow using the world's largest sledgehammer, and it's all ready to go. So, here this here.

[00:05:13]There's a bucket with an LPG cylinder inside it. Um if you look close enough, you can see that.

[00:05:20]And that's ready to go. The hammer's all the way up in the air. I'm just waiting for Daren to push the button, [music] and Daren here will create the world's first snow with the world's largest sledgehammer.

[00:05:31]>> Oh, Daren will Daren will create a bit of water mist with the world's largest sledgehammer.

[00:05:36]>> No.

[00:05:37]No, Daren, no. It's going [music] to be the world's first snow with the world's largest sledgehammer.

[00:06:33]>> I'm I'm extremely disappointed, James.

[00:06:39]Oh, man. What happened? My my snow idea didn't work. Or maybe maybe it did work, Darren.

[00:06:48]We just have to check the high-speed camera to see if it worked or not.

[00:06:54]>> Yeah, all right. Let's go and check out the high-speed camera. I'm very sure I've got snow in the high-speed camera slow [music] motion that Darren didn't see. So, let's go check it out.

[00:07:24]>> Oh, look at it. Come on. If that doesn't look like it's snowing, I don't know what it is. Look at that. Look at that.
