While the video correctly identifies human capital as the pivot for digital success, it presents a somewhat sanitized view of the cultural and financial friction inherent in SME transformation.

Hello Future — What SME Bosses Need To Know About Workforce TransformationAñadido:
If you're here to catch up on workforce transformation, I'm here to help you.
Hi, I'm Renee and I'm here to answer your burning questions on workforce transformation. What is workforce transformation? Workforce transformation has two parts, business strategy and people strategy. Your business strategy is to create new value in the market.
[music] And in order to do that, your people have to be developed to allow for this new value creation. [music] You need to develop your people, maybe even redesign jobs in order to leverage on technology to create [music] new products, new services. That's workforce transformation. If I have no [music] time and no money, how can I go about workforce transformation? No time, [music] no money, but really no choice.
Work is changing so dramatically.
Disruption within [music] that you can initiate and control is better than disruption outside. Next question. Isn't workforce transformation more relevant for large MNCs rather [music] than small SMEs? It's a misconception that workforce transformation is only for larger MNCs. [music] Larger MNCs actually have a larger workforce to cushion the blow. They have stronger technology adoption [music] and a wider pool of skills to access. So in fact, it is essential that small SMEs undertake workforce transformation in order to better mind the potential of their workforce. Next question.
What if equipping my workforce with new skills causes them to leave for better prospects elsewhere? This is a very real fear. You need to convince [music] your employees that they have skin in the game. Communicate the plan, make sure they feel included [music] and understand that the new skills that are being developed are the way to create this [music] new value. It is time for us to also think about what we stand to gain if we worked with each other rather than against [music] each other.
Australia, for instance, SME bosses realize that even as they train [music] their staff exceedingly well in the rest of the sector, someone else is also training their [music] next worker very, very well. Everyone therefore stands to gain. Last question.
What support does the government provide? Good news. There are so many resources out there.
Both financial support and advisory support. Most importantly, treat your workforce as your partners.
They are your allies as you all work to fulfill your business strategy.
Success looks different for everyone.
This is your path to chart. [music] I hope I've answered all your burning questions on workforce transformation.
Thank you.
