Geopolitical conflicts and military actions can significantly impact domestic energy prices, as demonstrated by the real-life experiences of Americans facing $5.50 diesel prices and $150 gas pump limits, which force working individuals to make difficult choices between basic needs and fuel costs, illustrating how international conflicts create economic burdens on civilian populations.

Angry Truck Driver Reveals The REAL Cost Of Trump’s WarAdded:
I want to show you guys something. This is why I get pissed off. Pump stops at 150.
I'm not not even at 3/4 of a tank. And here's the reason why. Because it's $5.50 for a gallon of freaking diesel.
And y'all wonder why some of us are pissed off. Because we actually we use our use our trucks to make a living. Cuz that's my knee. My knee. I don't need a single stayathome MAGA mom telling me I'll deal with it for a little bit longer if it just makes us better as a nation. Shut up.
>> That man is not having it. Matter of fact, he's filling up diesel in his truck. He says, for work and apparently that gas pump tops out $150.
Couldn't even fill up his truck. I don't know his political leanings. That's not what I'm here for. I'm just here to point out the situation that many Americans are in. And as they keep posting about the situations that they're in to uh remind you guys, what you get from Republicans in elected positions is a whole bunch of this.
>> Are you expecting to lose seats in the House for the midterm elections this year?
>> Um I was, but I'm not. And I'll tell you why. I think that the No, I'm not. And I'll tell you why. Because we we need to go on offense against the Democrat. Can you imagine what oil prices would be today if Joe Biden were actually in office? uh and the the straits of Hormuz were being uh were being closed by Iran.
Uh we were we're now energy independent and we're energy dominant under him. We we were energy dependent. Uh and so the world would be in a much worse place if Joe Biden and the Democrats were in power. I mean, can you That was Representative Carlos Jimenez. C can you imagine what gas prices would be like under someone like Joe Biden? I feel like we we had a gauge of what gas prices might be like. Also, that straight of for moves being closed. It's weird how it was open until Donald Trump started this war and then their response was to close it and we have this standoff conflicts going on and then oddly those gas prices shot up. We can imagine those things. Uh, Representative Jimenez, I wonder if he can imagine getting his ass voted out cuz this is their response to folks. You can see even the way that he pointed out his talking point that he's been been preparing to talk about. As she asked him, he goes, "No, because we have to go on the offense against Democrats."
That's what his handlers told him, his staffers. Like, you listen, we have to go on the offense against Democrats when it comes to these gas prices because we're getting our asses handed to us because we're in power and the gas prices, energy costs, everything has gone up despite the fact that we've been promising the exact opposite. I got more examples of people's real life situations and what it is that they're dealing with. If we can't afford to go to work, what do we do?
>> You look at the the price at the gas pump and you're like, "Wow, is that real?" I guess it is. So, you try to avoid it a little bit. You don't fill it up all the way.
>> I'm walking a lot more. That's that's what I'm doing.
>> I roll it. I get gas every day because I'm scared it's going to go up more the next day.
>> As far as I'm concerned, the whole economy is not working for the middle class person like I am. I'm on a fixed income and it just doesn't stretch anymore.
>> This big beautiful bill didn't help me.
It didn't help me at least. If anything, it one of the reasons I'm having to go back to work. I'm on disability and they yell at me for going to work, but I don't have a choice. It's either I go to work or we don't eat.
>> I believe the war is causing what we're going through right now with gas prices, uh, also food prices. He's more concerned about the war over there and killing everybody over here with a increased prices and he just doesn't seem to care. Ohio residents talking about how they can't afford to survive.
Man on disability probably retired has to go back to work. People talk about walking more. Who knows how far some folks have to walk. Who knows how walkable certain people's areas are. Can you walk to work? Do people drive like 15, 20 miles to work sometimes? I'm sure they do. And then I I I get the feeling that you can't really make that walk in on time in the morning. You know, maybe if you know, if you can relate to folks, you would you would uh be able to hear those stories and say, "Damn, I feel like people that are in elected office should do something about that." Here's the energy secretary, Chris Wright.
>> Should Americans be prepared for the possibility of paying $5 a gallon for gas? Look, again, I I can't predict the price of energy in the short term or even the medium-term, but what we're doing is ending a 47-year conflict. Iran has fought death to the United States for 47 years, death to Israel, and as we saw when the conflict broke out, they attacked all of their neighbors in the Middle East that had no involvement in the conflict whatsoever. If you have a hostile, unstable power like that, you simply cannot allow them to have nuclear weapons. That was a consensus opinion all my adult life. I I I'm shocked to see Democrats come out of the woodwork now somehow not worried about Iran getting nuclear weapons.
>> I know you're saying you can't predict how high gas prices will go, but I don't hear you ruling out the possibility that they could in fact go to $5 a gallon.
>> Well, I'm just avoiding price predictions. You sure the hell are Chris, right? I'm just avoiding talking about this really bad news and this the results of the decisions of Donald Trump has been making whose ass I keep kissing. I like that Kristen Walker at least avoided that you know that offshoot that distraction of talking about how evil and scary the nukes are in Iran that we keep talking about that uh you know all other reports that pointed out actually is not the case.
That's just them pushing their propaganda. But you know what? You should be afraid of those brown people.
And outside of all that, you should also understand that it's not, you know, maybe gas prices are up. It's going to come down immediately, says Chris Wright. But what else he talks about is energy prices for people uh that would be uh fueling, warming, and cooling their homes, electric prices.
>> But I will say the United States is in a tremendous position. We're by far the world's largest producer of oil. We we're by far the world's largest producer of natural gas. There's been no rise in the price of natural gas. That's the largest primary energy source for the United States. That's for home heating. That's for electricity.
Gasoline, diesel prices are up and they will remain up while this conflict's in place and then they will come back down and ultimately they'll come back down lower than they were before.
>> Man, he has really recited these lines in his head. You can tell by the way he's talking sitting straight up. We will do it that way. And that's just, you know, that's the only thing that's going to be flowing through his brain.
These people are supposed to be leaders.
Uh these folks are supposed to be smart folks in the country when in reality what they're doing is reciting the talking points that we're supposed to believe outside of our literal experience. Our only reality right in front of our faces we're not supposed to pay attention to anymore because Chris effing right said that you know energy costs home heating costs and cooling prices. You know what they've stayed the same. I'm surprised he didn't say that they've dropped off the edge like Donald Trump likes to say about gas prices because this is the other thing. I'm going to refer back to some more of these, you know, humans that we call Americans and their actual experiences with home heating costs.
>> I live alone though. There is no reason why my one month bill should be $675 when the house is pitch black. When we talk about these data centers, there is no question that the reason why our bills are as high as they are is because you got these multibillion dollar corporations, Meta, Amazon, who come into our communities, >> who take all of their money and use it, don't pay a dime in taxes. And this is why our bills are the way that they are.
We are making all the concessions as consumers in terms of what we can do to lower our bee. Lights, no lights, no heat. We're going to bed at night with I go to bed at night with no heat on at all. Our quality of life is in the toilet. Plus, the people who have been elected to represent us. You guys are not doing your job. They don't care because what they want to tell you is as soon as this war is over, those costs are coming down. But it's more than just that war. He brought up those data centers that was also brought up when they were bringing in all of these folks to uh hoard all of their money, pay a couple of few more politicians, a couple of dollars to give them access to many people's areas, locations, and throw in these data centers, these AI places. the type of technology that's coming in and sucking up resources and charging the people who've always lived there even more. There's so many fronts to this war and these prices that are shooting up people's normalies of life. But you know what? Just in case you guys haven't seen the theme yet, I'm showing you guys some bits of reality from humans and I'm showing you the reactions from the robot fascists that are surrounding this president. Here's Kevin Hasset. So in terms of the price of oil and gas and this spike, this has to mean higher costes costs for corporate America and for consumers.
>> Well, it does in the short run and and you mentioned Secretary Bessett who follows these numbers. You know, he made a lot of money following these numbers of the past and being able to trade and he says these futures markets are saying that basically once we get the straight open that there's going to be a gusher of oil released from the Gulf and that's going to help push put prices down relatively quickly. Now, there's a little bit of a time lag from that. Uh we've got to get the boats to move from the Persian Gulf to especially Asia where jet fuel prices are so high and that can take a month or two. But once you know basically the gusher opens, then we expect that oil prices could drop relatively quickly and certainly ahead of the election.
>> Really need Kevin Hasset to stop saying gusher. We don't want to hear that, Kevin. Uh but he is also lying through all of these, you know, the little evil grin that he likes to push. Every time he says some kind of bad news is actually good news. As soon as this whole thing is over, as soon as it's over, the gushers will be all over the place. By the way, um he's he's talking about when this is going to open up, how things are going to be flowing all over again. Uh I remember this president, the guy he works for said he can do this indefinitely. I remember him saying, "We can go straight back to bombing Iran because why not? I can do this forever."
>> I mean, I read a story today that I'm desperate to make a deal. I'm not I don't If I was desperate, he'd be the first to know. Let's get the hell out of there. I'm I'm the opposite of desperate.
>> I don't care.
>> Whatever the time is, it's okay.
Whatever it takes, we will always and we have from right from the beginning beginning we projected four to five weeks but uh we have capability to go far longer than that we'll do it whatever somebody said today they said oh well president wants to do it really quickly after that he'll get bored I don't get bored I'm not impatient I'm not rushing through this I remember him saying that but I keep hearing him and people like Chris Wright say that as soon as this is over which is going to be over in the very near future Things are going to be wonderful
