Framing professional scrutiny as "pretty punishment" is a shallow attempt to use sociological buzzwords to dodge accountability for alleged misconduct. It demonstrates how easily academic concepts can be weaponized to distract from basic ethical standards.

DAMAGE! DR CHEYENNE BRYANT IS BEING PUNISHED FOR BEING SCAMMER OR BECAUSE SHE PRETTYAdded:
or tested as much is because of your quote unquote looks.
>> I said this last time I was on you might you might be my alter ego brother cuz some of the stuff you say is just right up the alley of what needs to be addressed. So there's pretty privilege and I've learned that there's pretty punishment.
And I didn't really understand that term until I got into my field. And I want to say this, I didn't get I've been in my field for 18 years. I didn't get into this field to become famous, to become a celebrity. I got in this field because I was a little girl from the inner city who was tenacious and determined to make it out. And I had a lot of broken pieces and abandonment. And when God provided me tools that helped me take my broken pieces and make peace from it, go from my wilderness into my promised land, which I talk about in my book, Live Your Promise. Um, I thought, wait a minute, I got to make sure I give everybody I come in contact with these principles because everyone deserves that freedom and that healing that I'm experiencing, what I call God's peace. All right? And so with that, people got a whiff of it. And you know, the fan base, the folks made me famous, made me a celebrity. I did not grow up and say, "Hey, I want to just listen, I'm a good-looking woman. Um, I've had access to the industry for my entire life. If I wanted to be famous, I would have went maybe the actress route or the modeling route.
Easy, easy call for me." So none of that. No one goes to college and gets multiple degrees to say, "I want to be famous." Now, do I love it here? Yeah, I love it. I'm grateful for it. I appreciate it. If folks would focus on, doc, how did you create your own lane? I don't want to be you, but damn it, I want my own lane to occupy. I would give them the tools like I'm doing in my book, Live Your Promise, about how I did it, how I went from the hood to the hills. Was it hard? Yeah. Is it possible? Absolutely. Am I the only one that can do it? Hell no. The tools I use, if you apply it, you will get the same result, just like baking a cake.
Hey guys and welcome to Little Blackput 91. Um, the question is, is Dr. Cheyenne, is she a scammer and that's why people are coming after her or is she being punished for being pretty? I want to tell you my honest opinion. I think both truths can be true. I think some people are dogpiling it, especially the ladies are dogpiling it because she is pretty. That's no um bones about it.
We've seen it in some of the people's responses around why we've let her go for so long. By the way, a lot of men didn't rate Dr. Shan. They didn't care how pretty she was. A lot of people called her out um from early, especially the men. Um but you know, is she getting a pass because she pretty? Yeah, that's what we call pretty privilege where you get an unearned grace um benefits, nice treatment from people because they find you attractive. It's one of the perks of life, right? Um is she being punished in a sense because pretty pun pretty punishment is slightly different. Pretty punishment says you are going to be almost kind of like um people are resentful towards you. They underestimate you. They objectify you.
They kind of exclude you. They kind of just like talk bad about you because they're judging you based upon the fact you're attractive. Like you got here because you're pretty. Yeah. Um and these assumptions can actually hurt people in their careers especially, right? And men sometimes No. A lot of times men do participate in pretty punishment. They say you're pretty. You must have slept your way up to the top.
Right? That's an example of that. But what's really important here is the question around is she a scammer as that's why people are coming after her.
Or is it because that she's pretty? I actually want to scrap both of those questions. I'm going to tell you why I'm going to scrap it. Because I'm going to come from a Christian perspective. She mentioned God, so we're going to bring God into this situation. I think what Dr. Cheyenne is going through right now is character development.
I think a lot of us who are Christians, there is when God hides you in the background before he brings you to the foreground, there's some character work that he does to us. But some people are graced that their character is reformed in the public. An example of this is King David, right? We know that in the background he was looking after sheep and everything like that. His skills in terms of being a man that can lead people was being developed. But his character in terms of the way that he behaves and dealing with the emotional wounds that he had was actually dealt with in public. An example of this is Bev Shea. He took Beth Sheba from another man, killed that man, took his wife um you know and you know as a love and that really came from the fact that he had emotional wounds. Okay. Uh Samson is another example of this, right? Where he goes, he tears off a a wall and tears off a gate, but he's in the house of a harlot. Okay. All right. Some people are learning their character development on the job. And I think what's happening right now that the world is turning against Dr. Shyen Bryant because there are character issues that she has not dealt with. One being manipulation.
Yeah, she's a manipulator. I'm going to say that from my perspective. Now, it's not universal. From my perspective, she's a manipulator. And I'll tell you why. because instead of actually being truthful and coming out and saying, "You know what? I'm not a doctor. I'm a life coach from the very beginning," she didn't. Now, there's a whole bunch of hoopla stories around um her doctorate, which has been going on for years, and all of a sudden now she's going to come out and say, you know, they've lost the documents, right? They said she can't find the documents because the university um you know that she was at closed down and then the documents were at another place a third party and all this kind of stuff which um another person's come out from Argusy University and they've kind of disproved that and a lot of people actually have come from Argusy University and they've kind of disproved what she said. So she's so it sounds like she's being very manipulative. She's deflecting from the truth and owning the truth. And sometimes if you going to try and put God's name in it, God will allow you to be out there. No, no, God will allow you sometimes if you truly are here.
Sometimes God will allow you to get to the top of the pinnacle and for the wind to slap you so that you can get some sense. Some of us need that. I mean I've done my time so I already know. So God God has his ways of slapping you to let you know. And I think this is Dr. Cheyenne Bryant's time. If she really says she is a son of God, a child of God, a woman of God, then God don't play about this aspect. You know, the higher you are and the more visible you are and the more you're going to say God, God, God, God, God, the more kind of responsibility you have. That's why the Bible talks about in James 3 about not many of you should be teachers. Right?
Now, she's not teaching, but she is an anchor in the in the in the in the in the world of pop culture, right?
Claiming to be a Christian. Okay. So, for right now, she's coming out as a scammer and a grifter because she's refu because she's hanging on to this title which she cannot prove at this point in time. Right. And when they're asking her for proof, she says she ain't g she going to do it all but once, but say it again. She has all these degrees, etc., etc. So, we're going to play a little clip from another show um and talk a little bit about this. But I always say this that God went God likes to character develop a lot of us, right?
Peter at a point in time, you know, at one point said, "I'm going to die with you, Lord. I'm going to die with you."
And then the Lord was like, "Listen, when a when a crow when a crow clocks or sorry, when a was it a crows three times, you are going to deny me."
Character development. Peter had to develop his character at that moment. He denied Jesus three times and realized raw man's got to develop character.
Yeah. I got to develop my behavior. I got to de develop I got to develop more in Christ. And sometimes, like I said, God will allow you to experience certain things so you can learn lesson.
>> Have multiple degrees. And I'm not going to prove anything to anybody. My obedience is to God, not to people. And so, as long as I'm in his will and I'm serving and I'm doing his, you know, his word, my sheep will know my voice. Even the sheep in wolf clothing. That is not my battle. Well, the questions that are out there, why not provide the proof of your degree? Why not?
>> Um, well, a couple things, right? Um, I have multiple degrees and my thing is that my proof isn't something that I have to prove to individuals. Um, my proof is already within my credentials, my degrees, and also more than just my titles. It's in how effective I've been.
All of my sessions have been live for the most part. My sessions with Nick Cannon, Cam Newton, Shannon Sharp, B Simone, they have all been for the world to see, right? So, no one knew who Dr. Bryant was prior to seeing all of my sessions that were live. Um, and they deemed it as well as I did before they did it. They can't validate me. I validated myself. They deemed it as my work being effective. I >> Now, I want to say this first and foremost, she is effective. This is why I'm saying to you that you see God sometimes has a character development because sometimes what happens is right there are parts of us that have not matured spiritually and emotionally very well and then we poorly represent Christ. This is a poor representation of Christ because you don't actually have to say you're a doctor. You don't have to say look you don't have to you can just say you're a life coach and you'd still be doing what you're doing. But the mere fact we have to hang on to this doctorate aspect. Sometimes you see God allows sometimes our pride to take over and allow the pride because the Bible says pride cometh before fall. Sometimes God will allow you to be locked in Romans 1 where it talks about that he gave them over to their sin. Yeah. I remember a point in time when I talked about this when I was in Egypt and and I just know the Lord was like, "You know what? You want to go and have sex? You go ahead. Don't worry. You go on there.
You're going to go on there and you're going to go like the prodigal son.
You're going to get there and you're going to be eating the mud and the crap that the pigs are eating, you're going to also be eating it. Don't worry. You keep going. You're going to be sick of your own sick." You know what I'm saying to you, right? And it got to a point where I was fed up of just having sex. I was like, "What's the point of all of this? It's nonsense." Right? Now after a while you realize your sin cannot feed you anymore. Right? And sometimes you'll be given over. Your mind becomes seared and you're given over. And I and and and I'm wondering if Dr. Shahan Bran has been given over a little bit to her pride because we're now on national stages talking about we're not going to prove our prove our our degrees. Baby girl, no one's actually even asking you to prove your degrees. They ask you to prove this particular doctorate. That's what they're asking you to prove which you don't have, right? Which you don't have. And then you've you've told us a and ball story at a point in time, you know, a and ball story which again it don't it don't sound too good. Yeah. So I want to show you a little clip cuz I want to I want to um bring this up as well.
Hopefully you guys can see this. I want to bring this clip up to stage. I'm going to make it bigger. Don't worry.
This was from somebody in uh I think someone who plays clip. Okay, here we go.
>> Who's been shut down? I said, "Oh, well they got to have records. I mean they were correct transcripts. I did my entire thing and there was no school.
>> I was like, "Okay, I'm confused." I Google it says this school has been shut down. I said, "Oh, well, they got to have records. I mean, they were accredited when I attended the school.
They were accredited when I finished the program."
I go and look, there is a third party that has the records where I contact the third party. That third party only holds records for 2 years.
>> Huh? I was passed by >> I received my mers in community counseling from Argusy University in 2014. So it is true Argusy did shut down in 2018 and it really sucks for people that hadn't graduated yet because like the school just shut down and there were people like in the middle of degree programs. I graduated in 2014 so my degree was already done. I had already received it. And for people that are wondering the counseling program through Argusy was Krep accredited. Krep accreditation matters if you're going towards lenture. I didn't really go like the traditional route for getting licensed immediately after getting my degree. I took a long break. Long story with that, but in 2022, I needed my transcript in order to submit to the Virginia board so I could begin my supervision. And I was able to easily access that. I have proof. Here's the email that I got in December 2022 with Parchment telling me that they sent over my requested document, which was my transcript. And I was curious if I could still access um Parchment Now and still get things. And yes, I can still get a diploma, enrollment verification, and at the bottom, a transcript. I also dug up an email because I keep everything. I always keep my receipt. In this email, they're basically telling us the school is shut down, uh where to get academic transcripts, um where to go. There's different things on here about the status of your financial aid and everything. Went >> to contact the school and say, "Hey, I need my transcripts. I need my entire thing." And there was no school.
>> I was like, Now, I I Oh, hold on. I said this all to say, and I'll we'll bring my screen back up because I think it wants to play my screen wants to play uh uh some things, right? I say this all to say that look, I think reality is this, right? I think >> I think Dr. Brian, I think where she is right now, she's a survivor and she's a comedian that she knows how to adapt herself. And sometimes you can be so much in survival mode that you're not even realizing that you're still surviving. Um, and that can cause you to be behave and move in a way that's unnecessary when you've begun thriving.
And I think Dr. Shyen Bryant needs to look at herself now and just kind of pay attention and be aware. You know, there's a story in in a story in the Bible of Moses and uh his wife, and I always why is her name going on my head?
But basically, what ended up happening is that Moses didn't didn't um circumcise the child before the on the eighth day. The wife, I don't know how she managed to get the wind of it. She obviously knew the customs, ended up um circumcising the child. And the Bible says that the Lord was going to visit Moses because he was a leader of the people and the Lord was going to kill him.
And I always remember that story. I think to myself, ra. Now, I mention that because I say that sometimes, no matter how good, no matter how much you think you know the Lord, sometimes we all have our own blind spots. I have my own. She has her own. And sometimes you are allowed to be you you your pride will take you to a place where you'll be you will become buffeted in order to learn a lesson. I think this might be her lesson. Whatever she learns is a love story. But I'm going to leave it there.
