Aripiprazole is an antipsychotic medication with a flexible dosing range of 2-30 mg, available in both oral and long-acting injectable formulations, used to treat various psychiatric conditions; it can reduce breastmilk production, which may be beneficial or distressing depending on the patient's situation, and commonly causes akathisia (a distressing feeling of needing to walk or pace), though rare impulse control disorders may also occur.
