Rich Investor vs Poor InvestorAdded:
Rich investor vs. poor investor, when it comes to investing in real estate. I saved up money for years before I bought my first deal. I found a great deal, put in as much money as I could, and raised the rest of the money I needed to buy the property. [music] I bought a fix and flip because I saw a show on HGTV where people made a lot of money. I bought a commercial property in a growing part of town with below market rents that I can raise when the tenants' leases expire. I managed the property all by myself instead of hiring a property manager so I could save money. I hired the best property management company in town.
They made the property look incredible and the tenants [music] absolutely love them. After I lost money on my first deal, I decided real estate was too risky and gave up. My first deal didn't go exactly how I'd hoped, but I learned [music] my lessons and was so much better on the next deal. I hired my cousin as my real estate agent because he was cheap. [music] I hired the best broker in town that specializes on the exact type of property I bought. He got the property leased quickly in a higher rate than I thought were possible.
