In the freight forwarding and logistics industry, long-term employment (such as 28 years at one company) is uncommon and often viewed as exceptional, creating mixed perceptions where colleagues may both admire the loyalty and question why the individual hasn't moved on, while the employee themselves may feel uncomfortable or exposed when considering leaving.

🎙️ Amanda Bradfield: Freight, Logistics & Global Trade.追加:
28 years in one company [music] is not really heard of and especially not the shipping industry. It can be quite promiscuous in that moving around of people to different companies. Most people were like, "You've been there 28 years? You're such a unicorn." Some people thought it was a very good thing cuz other people would spin out the negative side. People would say, "Oh, you should have moved on years ago."
People were like, "Oh my god, you never had that anymore. You're so loyal." It always felt a little bit weird. Leaving felt weird. You felt a bit naked. You felt a bit exposed.
