‘We won’t know what to do without’ social media - teens discuss ban

But in that moment when I first saw it, I felt like the government wasn't on my side. Like they didn't care because it was my generation, people that I know who are going to go through it. But we weren't being like spoken to. We weren't being asked like, "Hey, is social media actually a really bad thing or do we just think it's a bad thing?" And I think because me and like so many other people love social media, we think that it's a community. Like it's the only escape that we have from like our pretty much unsafe areas.
