Hello friends. It is Mrs. P. Happy Thursday. I'm here to do my cash stuffing. Um the end of the week is almost here and this is like the hardest week of the school year, testing week. Um it's just it's just brutal brutal on everybody.
But we're almost finished. I have um one more day of testing this week. we are uh retesting. Um I have like 10 students I think that I'm retesting in reading and the only reason I'm retesting them is because they want me to. And um I would never I am such a anti-standardized test person. I would never make a kid do it if they didn't want to. Um because it's just too much. 52 questions in ELA. 52 questions. That means usually about four to six questions go with a passage. Some of the passages are really long. In fact, one of my students said, "Mrs. P, there were 32 paragraphs." I mean, that's like a short novel. Like, what are you doing to these kids? Like, you don't have to give them such long passages. is you don't need to give them so many questions. Like half of that is enough to evaluate students.
Don't even need that. I I literally can tell you like kids and where they are because that's what teachers are like trained to do, you know? We know our students. We know what they can do.
Anyway, I know I grip about this all the time, but I just do not like putting kids in front of a device making them sit there quiet for 3 plus hours and do a test days after days after days. I just I feel like it's like cruelty. But anyway, let's go ahead and get started. I have to let's see here.
Look, I already have my money out because I just started putting it in the tray and I was like, you know what? I should have left it in the bag, but I've already put it in here and it' be silly to put it back in the bag to pull it out of the bag. So, it's here. This is 15.
No, no, no, no, no. $1,150.
Maybe. Maybe that's what it's supposed to be. Um, and I'm going to unst my wallet.
I pull out all grocery money and then all ones except for in my daughter's envelope. So, I know that in groceries, like that's all I have left is ones. I did go to two different stores, so I ended up getting ones at both places.
And if I have ones in my grocery envelope, when I'm buying something else, I don't use the ones. I go ahead and break the the bigger bills so I can save the ones for I've got a debug for my mini Mondays. And I may split it with my freebie Fridays, too.
Millie, Kiki, and Luna. They have three three ones. Oh my goodness, those five.
I just I haven't had a soda all week.
I've been trying just to drink water. I have uh one cup of coffee in the mornings and then I try to drink water the rest of the day. But I just like I had to get me this is right zero. This is my like soda of choice and it doesn't even have caffeine but it's just the carbonation I needed today. Um so I you know how when you guzzle something that is carbonated how it like gives you like the burps. And I've got the verbs. All right. There's a Jbug. Okay. Um household has some the Kik Kiki is like pawing at the door. Um I have cuddled with her. It is I It is after 6. I had to wait um to film this after dinner.
And now Kiki is like wanting more attention.
I've Oh, that's Miss P. I can't take her. But I know I have some in eat out.
Um, okay. Oh, Deep Buck. We've got quite a few J and D bucks. Okay. And that is Well, come on. That is all of the money in or all the dollars that I take out of here. I do have to take my change out. I don't have a whole lot of change.
I have a little.
Just a little. Okay.
And that is all. I see this tin has got a crinkled corner. Does that bother you guys too? Like when dollars and look, it's like that on this side, too. I don't know why things like that bother me and I take the time to fix it and then some things I can just ignore forever. All right, so let's go ahead and stuff our groceries. It's 140 uh 20 40 60 80 20 and 40. These are soft soft 20s.
Um I was we were going to do like a um pool party for Memorial Day, but the weather is not looking great. So it looks like we may be going bowling this weekend. So then we will need to use our family fun money. All right. Millie, Kiki, and Luna, they get 25. And I think they've got several fives in here. Um, three.
Okay. So, now they have 40.
And Kiki is needing some food, so I'll have to get that this week. All right.
Household, it gets 15, 10, and five.
Okay. So, now household has 20, 40, 50, 55, 60. Um, one thing I know I have to get for the house this week is the um the washer like cleaning tablets. The we get the AFresh brand. I know there's some off brandands, but my husband is a like he repairs washers, dryers, all that stuff, appliances. And so he is a big huge advocate for um a fresh in the washing machine once a month. Put a tablet in, run it, and keep your washer in good shape. U Mr. he gets 40.
So that is what he would recommend. So if you don't clean your washer once a month, he would say you need to um my envelope. I didn't use I didn't use any money this week. Uh 2040. I did not get my nails done. I just painted them myself and they don't look great. But you know what? I don't really care. It's summer time and I am not going to need pretty nails other than, you know, I want to keep painted nails at least for the videos. But 20, 40, 60, 80, 105.
Now, I may change my mind and go ahead and go back and get my nails done, but for right now, I'm just going to give them a little break. Miss P gets a 20.
She's got 24 in there. Eat out gets 25.
Soccer season is over. So, we may just keep funding this just to have, you know, a nice meal out once every couple weeks. So, $65.
Well, I guess it would be u maybe a nice meal once a month since I'm only funding $25 each week. And eating out is super expensive. And then gas gets 60 and it had 10 left. So, now it's got 70. I have a quarter of a tank left. So, I will need to get gas and fill up before the weekend. And that is everything in my wallet. Okay. So, now for syncing funds.
And it's pretty much everything is the same except for sports. I I'm not spending it as much. Okay. So, beauty gets 25.
My husband's playing Xbox with my son and they are arguing with each other. 20 40 60 81 20 530 130. Um I have a hair appointment not until like the second week of June. So this will build up nicely, but I will need to get my daughter's hair done sometime over the summer. All right. Medical gets 50.
So 20 40 and 50. It's got two fives. All right. So 20 40 60 80 1 20 40 50 560 160 and it's almost prescription filling time.
All right, sporting events is going to get 25. I am continuing to fund this a little bit because we still have camps over the summer for my daughter to go to and um cheer practice will start over the summer and she'll she'll have cheer camp, soccer camp and I would like to buy our season passes for um sporting events. So that will be probably the middle of August.
So, we'll just keep funding this. 20 40 60 801 105 10 15. Oh, and I've got ones, which you know what that means.
All right. So, we've got one, two, there's a J. Oh, there's a J. Okay.
Wait. And there's a J. Oh my goodness.
Well, my niece and my nephew are making out today. They got six bucks today. All right. So, let me see how much we have here. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20. All right. So that is going to be half will go into mini Mondays and half will go into freebie Fridays.
All right. Pool and hot tub is going to get 10.
It is officially pool season. 20 40 60 80 90 100 and this will cover chemicals and things like that for the pool in the hot tub.
Um nothing for grocery pickup yet.
Subscriptions is going to get 15. So a 10 and a five. So subscriptions has 20 40 60 80 1 10 15 115.
I'm gonna have to like put sort quick on my hands because the bills are not wanting to cooperate with me today.
Okay, propane gets a five.
So, propane has 5075 80 now.
All right, school supplies is getting a five. So, now it's got 30.
All right, vet gets 10.
And so now the vet has 20, 40, 60, 81, 20, 40, 60, 80, 90, 205.
Okay. Car tags. We did get the notice for my husband's truck. His tag is due at the end of July and it is 174. Plus, we have to get the inspection. So it'll be around $200 when all is said and done. So $10 for that. So now it has 20 40 60 81 20 40 60 8020 1020. So that's enough for his. And now we're going to be the rest of it will go towards my registration and everything for I think December is when mine is due. November or December? I can't remember. All right. Car maintenance is going to get a 20. Car mean it has 20 40 60 81 20 40 60 80 I think I'm going to pull a hundred of this and put in the high yield savings account and just keep building this up and every time I reach another $100 I'd like to keep at least a hundred in here for anything that just comes up oil whatever and then the rest of it will go into the high yield savings account. Yeah. So every $100 I'll put in there. All right. Home maintenance is getting a 20 and it has $100 in the high yield. 20 40 60 80 200 20 40 60 80 320.
So I might do the same thing with this.
Keep $100 maybe 140 in this one because um we have to buy air filters and water filters and things and then put the rest just start putting in the high yield savings account. All right. So that is all for my scing funds.
Now, this is what I consider my fun binder because it holds all of the nice fun things. Holidays, celebrations, grocery, stock up. Oh, nope. I don't have any regular bills for that. Family fun, date night. My husband sent me a text today and I haven't, you know, I talk about, you know, we want to go on a date, we want to go on a date, but I don't ever talk to him about it. And this this afternoon, he sent me a text and he said, "We're going on a date this weekend." and he says, "And you get to pick where we go." So, he's ready. So, um, J&D bucks discus for my niece and my nephew. And I did consolidate, condense, condense, condense this. All right. So, I'm putting the $6 in there. So, we have 20, 40, 45, 46, 47, 48, 49, 51.
That is so nice how fast that's building up. Um, I haven't bought them anything.
Well, I bought my nephew something when we were in Washington, but I haven't really bought him any like gifts since Easter, so maybe I'll get him some fun pool stuff. All right. Nothing. Nothing.
Okay, that's all in here. Okay. And now we get to stuff the games binder, I guess. Savings challenge. Savings challenge binder, I guess, is what I should call it. All right. So since I went down on sports by 25, I put that extra 25 towards debt. So debt is getting 115. So 20 and then five tens, seven fives.

And I gave myself more ones in this one because I was thinking that I might finish some and I when I start new ones I need more ones. So I don't want to get into ones trouble. All right. Senior year gets a five.

That's my last four tens. Four fives.

Okay, so we literally have five school days left. Five. Tomorrow. Once we get there, we will have four getups.
I got an email. Well, my whole eighth grade team did, but we got an email that said, um, we will have a new student starting tomorrow.
And immediately I thought, wow, you know, here we are just finished up state testing. We literally all we have left is next week, Tuesday we have an eighth grade field trip. Wednesday we're doing like this EOG reward system.
We've been giving out these tickets for if they've been here all all week, if they showed growth, if they do all these things, they get tickets and then they have a drawing and they have all these prizes. So that's Wednesday.
>> Also, yearbook sighting is Wednesday. So those three day no Tuesday. Wednesday is already like ish nothing, right?
Thursday is our awards day. So 8th grade kind of not we don't graduate but we give the um move up certificates you know you no completion certificates middle school completion certificates and most the kids leave after that so then we will be pretty much empty house Friday's a half day and we've got this new student coming and so obviously anytime you get a student move in toward the end of the school year especially this late new school year there's um some kind of a reason like an emergency placement or something like that. So, I emailed back to our counselor. I have a really good and very um sweet home room as far as like they're helpful with each other and they're considerate and things like that. So, I volunteered to um have her I said, "Can you place her in my home room? I have a peer buddy. That would be perfect. And if you could me mirror her schedule with this other students, then she can just go with her everywhere.
Like then she'll have a buddy, somebody that she's familiar with all day long.
And so that's what we're going to do.
But I just, you don't know what's going to come, you know? You don't know like the situation, you know? I don't know. We don't we don't know those details. Um I just know that it's probably going to be hard for the students. So, say a little prayer for her. It is a her. Um, but I'm glad I've got her because I know that I can make her I can make her feel comfortable, right? I feel like she will be best suited in my classroom. So, I'm very happy about that.
