This video oversimplifies Sweden’s pragmatic evolution into a binary political narrative to score cheap points against American progressives. It mistakes long-standing market reforms for a sudden ideological shift while ignoring the welfare state's continued survival.

🚨SWEDEN JUST WENT CAPITALIST—Someone Tell AOC!Added:
you you take your your pick anywhere around the world and it's always hunger, poverty, starvation, and bloodshed.
So, no, we don't want that. Not even Sweden wants that. And look, Sweden had uh you know what this guy would call his utopia of how he wants socialism to be.
But guess what? Even Sweden figured it out after a while. This stuff is not working. New York Times actually was the Wall Street Journal had a big article this week saying the world's most surprising capitalist makeover is underway in Sweden. In Sweden maybe, you know, now that they have all the migrants, they're figuring this thing out. They just can't give everybody a free lunch, literally. So anyway, they said this is the paragon of collectivism. It's pivoting towards rugged individualism.
For decades, Sweden was shorthand for the brand of high tax, high-spending government that managed people's lives from cradle to grave through state-run hospitals, school, and care homes. No longer with little fanfare, this Nordic country of 11 million has embraced capitalism.
Well, good for you, Sweden. Better late than never. Take a You know, I love a good chart. You know Trishan loves her charts. Okay, take a look at this.
Woohoo. Now I'm getting excited because we get to talk about public social spending as a proportion of GDP. Look at this. I mean, gosh, we're almost like par with Sweden right now. Look at France. I mean, France is just a disaster, right? They just can't stop spending your money. You can't ever make any money in France because the government's always taking it and then repurposing it. Look at France, okay?
They're spending 31.6% 6% of their GDP on social programs. And Italy, oh, Georgia Maloney, you're such a disappointment. I can't tell you how much. The senora in Italy was supposed to change some of this, but you know, she's getting nowhere. They're 30.1%.
Austria next, Finland, Belgium, Spain.
Spain, Germany, Denmark, Japan, Canada, Portugal, Greece, Sweden, as we go down that list, and then eventually after Slovenia, you get to the US.
You know, I I got to say this is amazing. So, they're kind of figuring out that they're better off, guys.
They're better off actually allowing for free market capitalism in everything.
And I mean everything. Oo, I've got another good graphic I want to show you because this to me says it all. Okay, their schools even are actually traded on stock exchanges. Can you imagine? Oh my gosh. You know, Mimi would hear that one. He'd he'd start having heart palpitations. Nearly half of primary healthcare clinics are privately owned.
Many buy private equity firms. Private equity firms are in there buying up healthcare clinics in Sweden. I never thought I'd see the day. One in three public high schools is privately run.
One in three public high voucher schools on steroids. This is amazing. I mean, up from 20% in 2011. Amazing school operators are listed on the stock exchange.
Gosh darn it. They uh they've been hard at work, have they not? Over there in Sweden. That's a pretty impressive thing. So, they are outsourcing a lot of these, you know, one of the biggest problems we have with education now is that there's no market incentive.
And so everybody goes and gets some, you know, crazy degree in transgender studies and suddenly wonders why they they're not employed. Wall Street Journal had another big article, maybe it was yesterday. Yeah, it was yesterday, saying that all these 30 some odd year olds with master's degrees and other advanced degrees are like the most unemployable they've ever been. Well, gee, I wonder why that is. Because the government's writing the blank checks, okay? Nobody cares about, they don't understand the consequences of taking out these loans. The government's like, "Here, we got a blank checkbook. What do you want? What do you want?" Oh, transgender studies. We're really pushing the transgender studies, right?
Because then you can be part of the Kamala click. So, they they encourage this nonsense and then nobody can get a job and then they're bitter and they're unhappy and they go say, "Well, I got to join Ma'am Damiy's campaign because we need free food." And communistr run grocery stores. You see how it comes full circle there? Until, well, as Margaret Thatcher so poetically said, until you run out of other people's money. Okay, so at some point when all the CEOs move their big banks out of New York City and Mami doesn't have their money to spend anymore, then what does he do? Well, maybe this is what Sweden was figuring out along the way. Sweden now ditching capitalism. Forgive me, socialism for capitalism. Good. Okay, good.
these morons, okay? And I mean absolute morons from AOC who needs to go back to tending bar to Mami who needs to go back to Africa.
African-American that he is, right?
Remember his college application? That's what he said he was. He still didn't get in. I'm telling you, AOC, his dad worked there. Okay, that's usually that that's like one of the perks. That's why you these people take these university jobs and then like their kids get to go there for free. The school really didn't want them. I mean, I I just think it's important to understand and know that. They saw something before we all did. AOC, meanwhile, one of the dumbest communist socialists of them all. She decided it would be a really great look to go down to the South and campaign as though she's in a Pope mobile. Did you see this? you >> want to make sure that we all understand >> that Montgomery is not alone, >> that you all are not alone.
>> And for all of those watching today >> when they ask, "What do we do in this moment?"
>> I feel helpless. What action can I take?
>> I bet she feels helpless trapped behind that bulletproof glass.
>> It's time for the North to pull up to the South.
It is time for New York to pull up to Alabama >> like that in the boat mobile.
>> It is time for all of us to come to Georgia, to Louisiana, to Tennessee, to Mississippi, and let them know exactly what they have on court with this injustice. They think they can draw us out of >> So, um, yeah, I don't think that's going to fly. I mean, if you're comp I'm just saying you're campaigning for president that that's not going to fly.
What exactly was that about? Honestly, like look, I shouldn't laugh because we're living in tough times and you saw what just happened out in San Diego and I I'm so sorry to see that. And um you know the the people that lost their lives there and we know that this president of course has had so many multiple attacks on him. So I shouldn't laugh about it, but it's just not really a good look. I mean, it might be kind of premature at this point. I I don't think she's that polarizing, right? But she's trying to send a message that she's scared of the right, that she thinks somehow the right is going to take her out. I I really I don't think that's the case. I actually think the right would love it if she runs for president. Right now, that's what the polls are suggesting that it could be AOC versus Marco Rubio. And who wouldn't take that trade all day long, right? I mean, I'm not I'm not I'm not scared of that one one bit. I I would welcome that. I'd welcome Kamla. There's a lot of people I'd welcome. I'd welcome Ilhan and Rashida and you know, even even Gavin, because Gavin is toast. Look at Gavin out there. What a mess that's become.
Karen Bass is toast. I mean, the Spencer Pratt stuff is amazing. I mean, that guy is just the gift that keeps on, you know, giving all of those memes that he keeps posting. He's he's just doing a phenomenal job there campaigning in in California and I I think it's gonna happen for him. But uh AOC, you know, Rock A67, I I think I have your handle right. You make a good point. AOC needs a therapist.
I I think she has one, right? Like a really expensive one who specializes in like some rather avantgard stuff.
Not just shrimps, but like other kinds of I mean, unfortunately, the stuff that actually wound up uh killing the the actor from Friends, Matthew Perry. Yeah.
Yeah. That that was I don't know if it's her therapist, per se, but she apparently went to him for some like campa campaign consulting stuff. That that's how they put it on the campaign finance reports.
Yeah. You see, I I think they need to do a little more digging into Alexandrio Casiocortez's campaign finance reports between the funny doctor up in Boston and the um the salsa lessons and then the makeup artist.
Uh yeah, you might have a little there.
Just a little just a little teeny bit of something there. Oh, this is going to be fun. Hey, um make sure that you subscribe if you haven't. Oh, look at Balance of Nature gets two commercials today. Balance nature.com 10% off. Okay, I didn't expect that. Anyway, great to have you all here. Thank you for everything you do to make this show such a success. Please let me know what you think. Is AOC going to be the Democrat nominee? And if she is, do you welcome that? Would you like to see her?
Because, you know, hey, I get it. It's a bit of a gamble, but I think it's a gamble we win all day long because guess what we are? We are capitalists here in the great United States of America. We are proud, red-blooded American capitalists. And there's a reason we have and enjoy the success we do. And there's a reason Europe is Europe. And there's a reason Mami and AOC and others are who they are. And there is a reason people are leaving New York City, the place they govern. Oh, and dare I forget California as well, right? Everybody's leaving California. They're leaving the communist states and they're going to free market capitalism where freedom and entrepreneurship and Americanism succeeds. Good to have you here. I'll see you live again tomorrow.
