Tooth sensitivity is the first sign of oral dysfunction, indicating that minerals are being lost from teeth faster than the body can replenish them; this occurs because frequent acid exposure from eating and drinking prevents the mouth's natural 20-30 minute recovery period, and the body prioritizes mineral allocation to vital organs like the heart and brain over dental health.

The First Sign of Oral DysfunctionAdded:
What's the first sign of oral dysfunction?
>> First sign of oral dysfunction is usually sensitivity.
People are like, "Oh, my teeth are just sensitive. They've always been sensitive." Well, that means that you are losing minerals faster than you can replenish them. Every time we put something in our mouths, the acid level increases, so our mouths become more acidic. That's the first step of digestion. The acid dissolves minerals.
Our body it's got a way to fix it. It brings saliva back in, and [music] the saliva brings minerals. So, there's two problems that can happen. Number one, the mouth never gets a chance [music] to replenish minerals because you're constantly introducing food or acid.
[music] So, if you're constantly sipping on something all day long, your mouth never has a chance to recover. It takes about 20 to 30 [music] minutes for the mouth to recover from that acid attack. So, if you never give your mouth a chance to break for longer than that, it will always be acidic.
You're constantly going to be pulling the minerals out and never giving it a chance to replenish. So, that's problem number one is frequency. Problem number two is, what if your body doesn't have enough minerals to replenish with? And if the body has to choose between running your heart and your brain and keeping you alive or refilling your teeth with minerals, it's going to choose your heart and brain every single day of the week.
