Episode 333. 9 yearsAdded:
Hey everybody. Hey guys.
Welcome back to Gallop Grown.
Thank you all for stopping by and checking out this video. Yeah.
We hear around this time of year, well, not May, but February, March, we hear um people say like, "How many anniversaries do you guys have?"
So, our hanging out and uh getting together anniversary is in February.
Yeah. In this video, we get to have our wedding anniversary and that is in March. So, we celebrated 9 years this year.
That's kind of cool.
That is pretty awesome.
We uh we get to that in this video and then we also have a little bit of church, we have some wildlife, we have some uh things.
So.
You don't work on cars, just cooking.
We're glad you stopped by to check out this video and we hope you enjoyed it.
And remember, if you want to check out the work that I've got going on on the '67 Fastback, as well as everything else at the shop, you can check that out at Gallop Built.
Been a long day. I'm done with the uh drywall stuff that I was working on for today.
Mama Bear came home. She had to take care [snorts] of few things and then she headed back into Gallup. I met her at the store cuz I left right when she did.
And she's in front of us.
We're almost back to the house, so we're just cruising.
Good morning, everybody. I made it to the shop uh for the day and today I'm going to work on the traverse that I was working on last week.
I had a problem with the o-ring.
I thought I fixed it.
So, that's what I'm going to do right now.
I'm going to move this mustang out first.
Okay, this one's going to go back on the lift.
Good afternoon, guys.
I was at the shop all day.
I took off and uh I was helping the missionaries with some lessons just now.
It is pretty warm out here. I am heading down the road right now. I'm going to go meet Mama Bear.
Today is our 9-year wedding anniversary.
And we had already planned on maybe doing something this weekend, but not today. So, right now we're probably just going to go eat some lunch.
I'm going to go meet her right down here.
Good morning, everybody.
Hey, guys. Today's Saturday.
We are taking a quick drive. We're going to go head out to Farmington right now.
We are making a quick stop here at T N R down here at the feed store. We're going to go look at some stuff, but mainly I need to reshape this part of my hat right here.
And I think I want to bring this brim down a bit.
For the dog collars to see what kind of hat for Luna. We're going to go head out to Farmington to get something to eat.
>> [laughter] >> I have a problem with this little kick down right here and I don't like how thin this is. I don't want it all JB Mooney white, but a little bit wider than this.
Oh, this is really warm. Is it getting hot? Yeah.
And just a little bit. Oh, nice. I like that.
>> Wow.
Mhm.
Nice.
It's working.
We need a nice little waterfall in the back.
Now does it look better, mama? Yeah, it looks way better.
>> the side? The back? Oh, yeah.
Looks good.
Wow, your hair looks pretty. Thank you.
We just had to lint all of Golden.
So good.
They are fighting.
Fighting is good.
Take it off the road.
Okay.
All right.
What's that, baby teeth?
Say Draven.
Draven.
Draven.
Hi, baby.
>> Good morning, everybody.
I'm heading to get a burrito now. Mama bear took off already. She's taking the boys to school and I'm going to go ahead to the shop.
She's going to come by the shop here in a bit to pick up this crazy little mutt cuz she didn't want to hop in the truck this morning.
I was grabbing clothes off the line, so taking her to work with me for a few minutes.
I have made it to the shop for the morning and I'm back on this Mustang.
I hopped in with Mama bear real quick.
She came to pick up Luna.
Luna, boo. We're going to go run to the gas station.
>> want to come with me this morning.
I'm going to get a snack real quick and then I'm going to hop back off at the shop.
Quick little McDonald's run.
Now I am ready for the day.
Two good things. One, it started first try and two, the carburetor is not leaking.
It actually sounds kind of awesome.
Got a screwdriver.
Let me adjust this real quick.
Let's try this again.
I'm going to go take this out for a test drive real quick.
This thing's running pretty good. I'm going to get it back to the shop and double check everything. Put the filter cover back on.
Take it for another test drive, I guess.
Okay, I'm back at the shop.
I was at the shop fooling with that Mustang.
And I was almost done with it. Actually, I can't even say that because yesterday when I was working on it, I thought I was almost done with it. And today, there was a new problem. So, when I'm done with this problem, I'm assuming there's going to be a new problem with it.
But, I took it for a test drive this morning.
And then, I told my wife, "Come into town. Let's go get some pizza in the Mustang." And I wanted her to come in so we could go for a cruise in the fastback, but I had a problem with the starter. Turned out to [clears throat] be the starter solenoid. Thought it was the wiring.
Turns out the solenoid is bad and it kept cranking and killing the battery as soon as I turned it off. It ran pretty good until I turned it off. Then it just drained the battery and any battery I hook up to it. So, the new solenoid was brought by the shop, but I took off already because we're going to go pick up Draven and take him home because we're going to go to uh the stadium and we're going to go to Jackson's track meet.
We're going to be there till like 6:00 or 7:00. The last time we were there was 6:30, yeah. Yeah.
So, we'll be there for the remainder of the afternoon.
So, the Mustang that I was all fretting about today, trying to work on, um not even going to drive it. I left it at the shop charging cuz the battery was dead dead.
And we don't have any other batteries that have 920 cranking amps in the shop except for that one. So, I couldn't really just take one out of the other Mustang.
All the other Mustangs have a 302. Uh that one's got a 390. So, kind of hard on the batteries.
We're going to go pick up these dudes and we're going to go take them home.
Woah.
My battery's dead.
Once I got the battery charged up and as soon as it hit 13 volts on the engine start, it was running 50 amps on the charger. That's the only way it cranked this engine. So, that kind of sucks.
Okay, this has been charging for a bit and it's maxing out at 10.7, 10.8 and uh it's not getting any better than that.
So, new battery, I guess.
Hey, everybody. Hey, guys.
We are at the public school stadium.
We're here for Jackson's track meet. So, he's going to be running here in a bit.
He's got a couple of runs tonight. So, we're out here enjoying this uh Enjoying the sun.
>> [laughter] >> Yeah, that's the baby.
All right, Jackson. All right, Jackson.
>> It's a little bit later in the evening.
Started to get a little bit chilly, but we are ready to go. We are running into everyone here, so that's kind of awesome.
We took off from the public school stadium.
And where are we heading now, Mama?
Home.
We heading home now.
It's been pretty pretty all right day.
>> [snorts] >> I would say eventful, but I was really just working on my Mustang.
>> eventful. Yeah.
That's true.
>> Every day.
Every day is eventful.
So, really that just means yeah, we had a normal day today.
>> [laughter] >> We're going to go home and finish our normal day. The boys are well, the boys and I we're going to be getting on this forum here in like 13 minutes. We made it back to the house from town.
Mama Bear jumped right into dinner. And it's kind of crazy because after all the crazy day that we've had, Mama still cooked a really really awesome dinner today.
I already started on my chicken because this sauce is pretty bomb. I freaking love it when Mama Bear makes her chicken like this for us.
Aw, they're all hopping.
>> Right there in the shadow, you see it?
Mhm.
Well, they really know how to hide, huh?
Oh, look, there's still one right there.
They're waiting for him.
Go back to the herd.
What is he doing?
His tail. Mhm. He looks like a little like teenager, huh?
Go back to the herd.
That's how you get shot if you get lost.
So, be careful.
He's just standing there looking at us.
Wow.
So majestic.
Or maybe he doesn't want to be with the herd.
See you guys later.
The new battery is in.
I started it. It ran only for a bit and then it shut off. I pulled the filter cover and man, this thing flooded bad.
Okay, I've got a few things taken apart and I found out the problem that I'm having. I'm going to get rid of that knockoff.
And uh I pulled this one off the shelf.
This one was for the white 66.
It starts and runs now, but we're going to change this. We're going to put a different intake manifold on it and we're going to put a different set of heads. But for now, I'm going to put this one on here and see if that changes anything.
>> [music] >> I have made it back to the shop.
And looks like there's no leaking, no flooding.
Good evening, everybody. Hi, guys. We are having an Easter celebration. It's like an interfaith Easter celebration here at the church. So, there are all denominations and all faiths here. So, it's kind of cool. And it's a dinner, which was catered by T&R partly, and then some of it was brought by members of the ward. But, there are quite a few people here. And there was a little egg hunt for the kids outside earlier. Kind of cool.
And my mom and my sister are over there.
It's a little later in the evening, and we took off from the church.
Mommy and Jackson are picking up some grub for Michael and Draven, and they will be home shortly. But, Lindabear and I, we're cruising home right now.
She is looking out for rabbits.
That's uh one of her favorite things to do on her way home.
I got to turn the heater on, even if it's hot in here, because her head's out the window. At least her belly's in the warm.
Good morning, everybody.
Today is Saturday, and I am here to shop. I'm going to be here for the morning and I'll see how far this afternoon. I got a couple of things to work on. One um shouldn't take too long and the other one has been taking me like a year and that one's probably going to take me another year, but I'm going to work on the S10 a bit today.
I'm going to clean up real quick. Soon as I turn my music on.
Good morning, everybody.
Today's Sunday.
I'm going to go in early.
And Mama Bear and the boys will be in later at 9:00.
Quick stop for some gas.
I really got to wash this thing.
We have made it to church. I should have photo bombed this. There's Bishop.
We have made it back from church.
Driving is Luna. Jackson's over there.
Mama Bear's right here.
My car is going to his room.
We had a pretty good day today this morning so far. Yeah. I really like running into everyone even though we run into them every week. It is really awesome.
Everybody's hungry right now, so I have to hurry up and change into home clothes and start cooking something.
I didn't want to be one of the hungry ones, but I had to grab a Star Crunch so I didn't fry [laughter] a hot dog real quick. Or eat a pizza. Uh I think there was only cheese pizzas left.
Cheese pizzas? Do you guys want a cheese These look delicious.
Thanks, Mama Bear. Love you. You're welcome. Love you, Mama Bear. You guys You guys be good.
Okay, everybody.
That's going to be it for this video.
Thanks for the stuffin. Bye.
Thanks for checking it out. Thanks for hanging out with us for a little bit.
And uh soon we'll be caught up and then we'll get to videos that we want to start putting out that are not so much a day-to-day. We'll stick with the day-to-day, but we want to start getting together some how-to videos whether it's cooking or art, or jewelry, or whatever it is. But, we shall see and we'll get to that. Okay.
Are you ready to talk about your menu?
I've been thinking about it. I got my recipe book and stuff ready, so.
Awesome.
Well, that won't be next week, but it won't be next year.
Shouldn't be too long.
Thank you all again for checking out this video and we hope you all have an awesome rest of your day.
You all stay safe out there, stay hydrated, and uh we'll see you all in the next video. You guys take care. Later.
