[00:00:01]Hello everybody, it's Joe here and welcome back to another episode of City Bus Manager back in London, London town, the big smoke where everything is nice and peaceful. There's no buses playing out. Everyone is nice and clean and we are ready to time jump to Friday morning. Is it Friday morning? Thursday morning. There we go. So, we're going to let the cleaner go on a break cuz they have deserved it. They've they've earned that well and truly. And we're going to send some Geminis out on the three, two, and one. I'm going to put another Gemini on the three. I tell you what, we're just going to Gemini the whole lot.

[00:00:34]There we go. Right, we we need more Geminis. That's That's what I've learned from this. Right, there we go. So, the route three is proving to be quite busy.

[00:00:42]Very popular indeed. So, I could potentially do with more double-decker buses now. Uh we could put them over here. Uh right, hang on. The medium parking space. Let's build that down there. And what we'll do is we'll build that to there, but not there. Oh, we'll build it to there. We may as well. Uh, we're going to put some Geminis's out on the nine routes. There we go. So, the route three. Oh, it's going to be busy. The three. I can feel it.

[00:01:12]What day are we on at the moment? We're on day 11. So, we have played through a full week, obviously, including the weekend. The sightseeing routes are very busy on the weekend. That's when we earn our money. We are currently averaging about 33,000 a day. Okay. Sunday it was very busy. But again, I think that's probably because of the amount of uh the amount of people that were traveling on the sightseeing routes. The sight scenes, I mean, they're easily our best earners. Look at that. Compared to the the regular routes, they are so much better. Um, you could argue that we need more sightseeing routes because then we're going to earn more money. That is an excellent, you know, sort of I can understand why you would think that. Uh I am just in the process of trying to work out, you know, like what we're going to do because I mean these routes are very good in terms of the people traveling and we want people to travel.

[00:01:59]The willingness of the population to use public transport is diabolical. Like it's so bad, isn't it? Um yeah, we could do with sorting that. I am thinking of a new route that sort of starts up at Houston, comes round through King's Cross, sort of around here and down past uh what have we got here? So that's uh Old Street station and then down here or sort of we could even come around here and down towards I'm I'm thinking Old Gate cuz there's Old Gate bus station here. Oh god, look those buses are really full. Could do with more Geminis. Oh dear. Yeah, I mean Old Gate station is very busy. So we could actually have that as what the route four. There we go. So if we let's let's put it in and see. I mean what what comes down here? Okay. What What have we got here? So that's Marilabon Edgeware Road. We could start them at Edgeware Road.

[00:02:56]I mean, that's entirely possible. We could terminate Edgeware Road. Oh, hang on. Marilabone Station, right? We'll we'll pop it there.

[00:05:32]Wow. It takes two hours to get round. Oh my lord. Right. Okay. Busy, busy, busy, busy. So, what we're going to do, we're going to go Monday to Friday. I'm going to go 5:00 a.m. till 18:30 every half hour.

[00:05:49]Where are we? Uh, so it's 2 hours. So, now we're in Old Gate Bus Station. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10.

[00:06:13]Saturday will be 6:00 a.m.

[00:06:16]till 18:30.

[00:06:20]Sunday will be every hour.

[00:06:24]That's just over. Yeah, that's lovely.

[00:06:26]And then Monday to Saturday, 1900 to 2,300 every hour. And obviously then they can run empty empty stock.

[00:06:35]We're going to activate that later because if I activate that now, all manner of hell is going to break loose.

[00:06:40]But what that does is it just means that people don't have to go down to Waterloo to change. They can, you know, they can sort of I mean, we're running that out of Waterloo bus garage. So, we're going to have some empty stop runs to there as well. It means that these cuz these are nice and busy, but you could get a direct service over the top. You know what I mean? That just makes sense to me.

[00:07:02]Yeah. So, these guys are very, very busy indeed. Um, in terms of let's have a look. Used buses, double-deckers, B9 batch 1A.

[00:07:40]Do we have anything like any service runs that come down here? I don't think we do, do we? Cuz that's the that's the one.

[00:07:57]There's a lot we could do. I mean, the buses are actually doing pretty well when you look at them, aren't they?

[00:08:03]We need more Gemini 2Os and then we can put the uh we can put the single deckers on the new route over the top.

I'm worried it's going to be a disaster, but at the same time, I'm excited it's going to be a triumph. You know, it's sort of like Could be either. Could be either.

[00:39:04]I think what I'm going to do, I'm going to keep buying some open toppers and I'm going to keep just buying some more double-decker buses for now. But where will we park them? Like genuinely, where am I going to park them? Do with expanding the depot. How do we uh So, we need 100 trophies and 30 grand. So, we can do it. That might be what I do. I'm going to buy more Geminis and then when I've got like two or three more, I think I'm going to open the route four, get another route running, right, okay, well that is where we're going to leave it for today everybody.
