A gamified daily savings challenge uses prop coins (representing real money) distributed through a dice-based system to encourage consistent saving habits, where participants roll dice to determine how many 'prop points' go to each savings envelope, completing challenges by filling envelopes with predetermined amounts and tracking progress toward financial goals like emergency funds, vacation savings, and monthly budgets.

Let's Clear Our Stash: Day 6Added:
[music] [music] Hello everyone. Welcome or welcome back to Kimmy's Corner. My name is Kimmy.
Today we are here for day six on hump day. Yeah.
Of saving our way through our minis and tinies using quarters. We have our $10 in cash, which is what we bring to this binder every day. And we exchange that $10 in cash for $10 in prop. If you are interested in the prop coins or the inserts that you see on today's video, they are available as a digital download for a small fee in my Kofhei.
All right. And when we were in here yesterday, we stopped on envelope number one. So, that's going to be where we start today. We roll a d3 to tell us how many prop points go from my hand to the envelope I'm on. And we just keep rolling until we run out of prop. And let's see if we can keep our streak alive. Yesterday was a nailbiter cuz it got we were able to keep our streak with envelope number six. So with that friends, let's get rolling.
Two going to number one.
Two going to number two. Can I get three for three?
Nope. Poor number three. The last two days it's been it's been um neglected from getting three. One for five. I cannot that's not the right word. You guys know what I'm saying. Two for number six. Let's go back up to number one.
All right. Two for number one.
Three for number two.
Can I get three for three?
Two. It's better than a one, I guess.
Number four is getting one.
Number five is getting two.
I expect a pretty big finish today. We had a couple that were very close. Two for number six. I've got two left. Are they both going to go to number one?
Nope. Number one wants three. So friends, once again, tomorrow we are going to start on envelope number one. All right, let me move my money binder over a little bit and let's see how we did, friends.
So envelope number one got $1, $2.50. It did not need that much, friends. This one comes from Vicki over at Pink Plum Budgeting. We only needed 50 cents to finish this one.
Such a beautiful challenge.
And that is a $6 saver. So, I need a 50 cent.
We'll take that away.
All right. And let's pick a new one.
Ouch.
Let's do this one from um Leanne over at Budget Basset Mom. We will treat each of the twos as a 50 set.
So 2 4 6 8 $10.
And this is in number one.
So I have $1.50. I have $2. So I can do this the whole top row here.
That'll be a nice saver.
Okay, envelope number two today. Got $1, $2.
This one is from Shades Budget. Miss Miranda, you got some quarters or what?
I just love that so much. Oh, we're finishing this one. So, this one is finishing with a dollar.
That's exciting. And that one is a $4 saver.
So, let's pick another challenge.
Let's do this one from Janelle Ray Budgets.
I got this in an order and I have a dollar left. Let's go ahead and take care of these two 50 centers because all of the other circles are a quarter.
And this one when it is done, this was a a freebie included with my most recent order. When this one is done, it will save $3 and it is in number two.
All right, envelope number three got it's been shyed the last couple days. It got 75 cents. This one comes from Joe over at CBA Mom Saves. Everybody needs a Kimmy's corner in the corner.
That's my adaptation of the song Tipsy for those who don't recognize.
All right, so envelope number four got $1.50 and $2. It did not need that. This one is from Lindsay at Bookish Mama Budgets. It only needed 50 and that is an $8 saver. This was part of her most recent Etsy draw.
So 50ents. I have another one from her right here.
And this one is so stinking cute. So, we're gonna do each one. Let's see. 1 2 3 4 5 5 10 15 20. So, this one will save $5 cuz everything is going to be a quarter. And it is in number four. So, I have $1.50. So, 2550 75 a dollar 25 and 50.
Perfect.
All right, envelope number five got 75 cents.
This one is from my shop, My Cat and I talk about you. And it only needed 25 cents.
Wooy big finishes.
Big finishes today. All right. I have I know I have more of mine back here.
And I do.
Let's do this one. Somebody is a problem. It's me.
And I [laughter] forgot about that.
It's funny.
All right. Actually, [clears throat] you know what? No, we won't do that.
So, let's see. There's one, two, three, four, five. So, this one will save $5.
And it is in number five.
All right. And we can put 50 cents.
So we will just color the handles of the mirror.
And that was a April exclusive that I made with my um members.
And then number six got $1, $2.
And this one is one we are starting from Ash at Chaos Budgeting. You can't see the total. So, let me just write it on the back.
So, $4 and it's in number six.
So, I can do $2.
If this one has a similar day tomorrow that it did today, we will finish this one quite quick. All right. So, now that one is all colored in.
So, let's go back up to the front and let's shuffle up or try to our prop coins before we put them back in.
And we've got a lot to pay out today.
So, I have envelope number one is getting $6.
One, two, three, four, five, and six for number one.
Then we have number two is getting four. One, two, three, and four.
And then we have number four. I believe that number if I can get it out.
Yep. Number four is getting eight. So we will do five, six, seven, and eight.
And then number six is getting or number five is getting six. One, two, three, four, five, and six. All right, we will leave one five in there.
Okay, friends. So now we're going to set that over to the side before we store our completed challenges. And we're going to come into our yellow binder with our inserts from Britney at Budgeting with a Ginger. So, this one from Pink Plum Budgeting we finished for $6.
So, we are going to add that into um the envelope for emergency fund.
Then number two is for month ahead.
We are going to add $4 for month ahead.
And then we have number four which is vacation.
We are adding $8 to vacation which is awesome.
And then number five cruise syncing funds is getting $6.
I am really liking doing it this way.
All right. So, now let's bring this binder back. We need to flip to the back because we need to add all of these into our completed challenge envelope.
Yay.
And I don't even think I did the song, y'all. The streak stays alive. The streak stays alive. Yeah. Yeah.
