[00:00:03]The thoracic cage is made up of 25 bones, sternum, and 12 pairs of ribs.

[00:00:11]Sternum, 24 ribs on either side of sternum and thoracic vertebrae.

[00:00:18]First seven ribs called true ribs, attach directly to sternum.

[00:00:24]8 9 10 ribs are false ribs, attached indirectly to sternum.
