[00:00:08]>> First day. First time. So, where are you going to visit in Japan?

[00:00:12]>> On my schedule, I have first, then I have Osaka, and then Kyoto, and then Nagoya.

[00:00:21]>> And at the end, I have Tokyo.

[00:00:23]>> Okay. Okay. So, you have like multiple cities.

[00:00:27]>> Okay. Nice. So it is still like first day. So it's probably difficult to answer. But so far so far what is your impression of Japan?

[00:00:35]>> Wow. It's like uh first of all that it a country super clean and their people are very gentle. I mean they are like um they help you if you don't know something like their kindness. Yeah.

[00:00:49]>> They very warm. Mhm. You mentioned a little bit about Japan, >> but today as main topic, I want to ask mainly about your country.

[00:00:59]>> So today's main topic is what do you like about your country? So probably you've been to other countries and comparing to other culture environment, you notice something good of your country. So thinking about your country, what are good parts? What do you like about your country? it's that they have like a lot of people um that love dance that they love half body and obviously the food it's amazing and on my place where I live it's Cabo San Lucas we have the beautiful arch which is an a tourist place so that's what I love about Cabo San Lucas >> beautiful arch >> the arch it's like a rock that it was made by the waves of the the sea >> okay >> so you mentioned the people is like happy and like party. So do you often have like house party like in your culture do you often like have house party and so >> no not about that kind of parties. It's more like um we have we celebrate stuff like for example we celebrate dead the first the second day of uh November is the the day of the dead. So we celebrate that. So Mexico has a lot of culture and we are like um we celebrate everything.

[00:02:15]>> Yeah.

[00:02:16]>> It is a like some Christian holiday.

[00:02:19]>> It's not a Christian. It's more about tradition.

[00:02:21]>> Okay. Okay. It's not so related to Catholic.

[00:02:24]>> Exactly. No.

[00:02:24]>> No. Okay. So what kind of holiday do you like in >> for Mexico?

[00:02:29]>> Yeah. For Mexico.

[00:02:30]>> That one. The day of the dead.

[00:02:32]>> Is it the biggest one in Mexico?

[00:02:34]>> No. We have another one that it's uh 16 of September which is the independencia of Mexico.

[00:02:41]>> Is it the biggest one? Yes.

[00:02:43]>> Okay. So whole country have holiday and have party. So in that holiday what do people do like what do how do you celebrate?

[00:02:53]>> We do dinners takitos Mexican takitos pole enchiladas.

[00:02:59]>> Is it like food name?

[00:03:00]>> Yes.

[00:03:00]>> Oh okay. So you have that in your family dinner.

[00:03:04]>> Yeah. Okay.

[00:03:05]>> And we call it that elgito deores.

[00:03:09]>> Dolores.

[00:03:10]>> Exactto. Yes. So lastly, we talked about your country. So I want to ask about is if we visit your country Mexico, what do you recommend us to experience like some food or specific places?

[00:03:22]>> It will depend a lot. If you like the beach, if you like the city, if you like the um the colonial or the historical places, I will go for the historical places instead of the beaches. So to know more about the culture of Mexico and at the same time their food one I have in my bliss that it's a place that is in Guadalajara is Masamitla another one is that it's in Vera Cruz another one is that we have the pyramid so that place and yeah chichanita or kosume ah also kabulmo >> kabulmo yes it's the biggest natural aquarium.

[00:04:06]>> Natural aquarium.

[00:04:07]>> Yes, it's natural aquarium, but it's not builded. It's like really >> in nature there's kind of a >> and in the water. Yeah.

[00:04:28]>> Like, is it first time to come to Japan?

[00:04:30]>> Yes, very first time.

[00:04:31]>> So, what is impression of Japan so far?

[00:04:34]So I'm I'm loving it. It's it's the best country I've ever been so far. People are great. Food is great. Yeah. I mean I'm super happy to be here. Yeah.

[00:04:41]>> Okay. Okay. So you're having good time here? Yes. Okay. So now I'm getting into the main topic today. So today's main topic is what is good part of your country. So I think uh when you are away from your country and stay in the different culture, different environment, you will start to appreciate more about your country. So after spending time in Japan and different culture, what did you start to appreciate more about your country?

[00:05:08]>> So one of the things that I actually realized is about how a personal space here is very respected that maybe you know in Spain we like to we are more tactile. We hug each other. We kiss each other. And this is one thing that I didn't realize I would miss it. It's it's a bit weird because you know my first action is just to go and maybe hug somebody or like be when I'm close to them. that here are more like you know it's uncomfortable for them so I had to get used to it and then I appreciate it more >> like did you try to like hug someone in Japan >> hug not hug but for example if you're having beers uh I sometimes you know touch the el like the here or like getting very close when we are talking it's just very I don't know and I realize that I that makes them uncomfortable maybe I mean they don't say but they are like a bit like [laughter] >> Mhm. Okay. So compared to other European countries, do you think like in Spain people have close distance?

[00:06:01]>> Yes. Yes. Well, now I'm living in France and France is a bit dissimilar to Spain, but for example in Germany or England, I mean UK. Yeah. They also don't like the uh >> the being too close on Yeah. Yeah.

[00:06:14]>> Okay. Don't they like hug when they >> I guess so. Yes. But not as much as Spanish people do, I think. Yeah.

[00:06:21]>> Like do Spanish greet and hug and kiss?

[00:06:24]So we kiss two kisses.

[00:06:26]>> Will you greet?

[00:06:27]>> Yes. Yes. If you meet somebody for the first time, then you will give two kisses. Never the hands or like bowing.

[00:06:34]Never never always kisses. Uh and then the hag is when maybe you know them a bit better. Uh and then you can hug them instead of kissing them. Yeah.

[00:06:40]>> So when you meet complete stranger, you don't hug and kiss.

[00:06:45]>> You kiss them. When kissing chick >> like complete stranger.

[00:06:48]>> Yeah. Yeah. For example, say say that you introduce to me your friend that I don't know at all and then I will give him two kisses or even I mean not completely stranger in the streets.

[00:06:58]Okay. No, not that but I mean completely stranger in in a in a situ in a social situation for example >> like friends of friends >> friends are friends or you know um yeah exactly yeah something no in the street.

[00:07:09][laughter] No no no that's weird. Yeah yeah yeah.

[00:07:12]>> So other than what you mentioned now what do you like about your country in general? Um, it's hard because I'm liking more things about Japan than my own country.

[00:07:21]>> What do you like about Japan?

[00:07:23]>> Well, first of all, I like how respectful and nice people are. I think that you have built I mean you have a great sense of community and you know respect others like public spaces or like the space of each other which I I miss from my home but I understand how that works and I think that I love it and you're also very people in general are very helpful. I got lost many times and I was finding always somebody that helped me out to find my way or like in restaurants talking to people explaining explaining me the food. Yeah, I think people are super super nice. And one thing also that I think you're a bit more connected to nature that we are. I have the feeling that you guys have a bit more like you know I don't know if it's because of history or culture or religion that you have more like grounded to the ground to the to the earth to the to the nature. I don't know maybe I'm wrong and we have maybe forgot a bit more like that we are more materialist and less maybe connected to nature >> and we have been talking about Japan and your country >> so do you recommend our channel viewers to visit your country of Spain >> yes yes I would say so especially the north where I'm from uh it's also very green very nice it's not very warm in summer >> where exactly you do >> I'm from a region called Galysia uh from a city called VGO and it's very close I mean it's in the uh Atlantic Ocean very close to Portugal.

[00:08:42]>> Yeah.

[00:08:42]>> Okay. What do you recommend us to experience there if we visit there?

[00:08:47]>> So, for sure the food. You will love it.

[00:08:49]Uh a lot of fish, a lot of seafood. I will also recommend to go to the ocean and maybe try some surfing or like scuba diving. Oh, and very important. There is a very known pelin pelinache way. So, something that you walk towards that it's called Sanjac the compostel. So there's a very important charge and then people come from all over Europe like the pelgrim can take uh I don't know months weeks whatever you want to start and it's a very nice thing to do actually it's a long hike very nice hike but it's very nice yeah >> not only Christian do pilgrim >> no you can just do it you know a bit of when you want to be in self retrospective it can be a moment for you to find yourself it doesn't have to be because you are religious and you want to go it is more like a moment for yourself or with friends you know um everyone is welcome Absolutely. Yeah.
