The new Comets reportedly cost $300 million. 'We feel as though it's a very safe investment'

[00:00:03]>> [laughter] >> Um, you know, um you know, for us, you know, the reality is we have we have confidence in in in two things. We have confidence in the WNBA, and so we feel as though it's a very safe investment. And then we have a lot of confidence in this community and this town supporting um all of its teams, including uh the Comets. So, uh for us it wasn't really a lot of consultation or debate. Um we feel like we're going to look back and feel really good about this investment.

[00:00:31]Um it's not just an investment in the team, it's an investment in the community. Um it's also something as a family that that we care about, we enjoy. Um you don't live forever, do things that you like and enjoy, and and and we can do this something that we can enjoy together and work on and and hopefully have success in.

[00:00:55]Um and it wasn't it wasn't it wasn't that if, it was when. Um so yeah, we're just uh we're fortunate to have the opportunity and and feel good about it already.
