According to Chris Langan, hell is not a physical place but a self-constructed state of separation from God that occurs when individuals persist in evil after death; since God exists outside time and space in a non-terminal domain, He can turn away from those who displease Him, and while hell may not be eternal conscious suffering (as human consciousness cannot endure God's wrath indefinitely), the judgment and separation from God's presence represents the ultimate consequence of choosing evil over life.

World's Smartest Man" REVEALS What Hell Actually Is and It's TERRIFYING追加:
What does the world's smartest man think about hell?
>> God is outside of time and space.
Well, God God is distributes over time and space and there's some left over.
Time and space is static. It's a display. Yeah. Imagine you're a little homunculus inside a computer display like The Matrix for example, okay? God not only distributes over that, but there's a whole other domain where God exists.
And that's the processing domain. That's the non-terminal domain. Okay. In the CT ME, we're in the terminal domain.
Right? And most physicists when they try to reason about the terminal domain, they reason under physical confinement.
Okay, well, I can only look at at physics. And I have to use what I know about physics, what I can observe about physics to explain everything else that I explain. So, they have that kind of explanatory closure.
Yeah. Going right there. So, speaking of this non-terminal domain, you know, really basic question.
Do what I'm not going to ask you if I'm going to go to heaven or hell, but will I go to either heaven or hell?
You will persist after you die.
Okay? Where you go depends on who Michael Knowles really is.
>> [laughter] >> I >> would know that better than anyone.
>> Yeah, I I hope I know that better than But you're you're telling me I'm going somewhere.
Yes.
Mhm. You're confident of that. I don't just uh evaporate. I don't just turn into oblivion.
Well, you can. If you displease God, that's exactly what's going to happen to you. Mhm. God is going to cut you off and he's going to say, "I can't see him anymore." Mhm. He's going to turn away from you and then you won't be able to reunite. Salvation will be impossible for you because salvation means that God has got to pull you back into himself.
Right. Okay, but God doesn't want to see you anymore. He doesn't even acknowledge you exist. He knows your physical body is there, but he's not interested anymore because you hate him, you deny his existence, you offend him. So, he's not going to look at you, right? So, now what happens? Well, okay, you're dead, you still want to live, there's something in you that still desperately wants to live, so it's still going to be there.
What happens now?
Well, you try to create your own world for yourself, but if you're a bad person or you're an evil person, what kind of world is that going to be? It's going to be an evil world and that's what we call hell. This is John Milton says in the mouth of Satan, he says, "The mind is its own place and it can make a hell of heaven or heaven a hell." Now, you got it.
The Oh, it it reminds me of Dante also, this this idea of God turning away. The very deepest part of hell is Satan frozen in a lake of ice of his own making of his own making because of the flapping of his own wings because he's apart from the warmth of God. Precisely.
Okay.
That's the way it has to work.
>> And the obvious question is, how do we know? How do we know hell exists? How do we know we persist after we die?
>> Cuz the architect has told us. The one who has designed all of this has made it very clear. Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, "Depart from me, you cursed, into everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels."
We live in a world where you break the law, you get penalized. If your child disobeys you, they get disciplined. If you get caught robbing a bank, jail time. It's in the very principles of our existence. And Jesus makes it so clear, "These shall go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into life eternal." Those who choose evil will be destroyed. Those who choose life will live. Now, another question is, is hell temporary? And I'm honestly gravitating towards this. Not so much that hell is temporary, but our consciousness cannot endure the wrath of God. And because God is merciful, he's not going to keep someone conscious for eternity. The body may remain there almost as a statue of what happens when you choose sin. But more and more I believe that the wicked will not be able to be aware of what's happening because the intense judgment of God is just so severe. Now, it may take a thousand years, maybe a million years. All I know is I cannot see God who is loving and merciful do that to an individual for a trillions of years. And if he does do that, well, praise the Lord. He knows better than I do. All I know is that there is a judgment coming.
And that judgment may last for eternity.
But God wants to give you eternal life.
He doesn't take delight in the punishment of the wicked. He wants you all to live. So, the question is, what are you going to do about it? But it's interesting that the book of Isaiah confirms what this man was talking about earlier, "Your iniquities have separated between you and your God and your sins have hid his face from you that he will not hear." Sin separates us from God, whether you like it or not. As good as it feels to sin, Jesus wants you to choose life. He wants you to choose his word. And the page I flipped it open to by random is God is gracious and just.
He's not a pushover, he loves you, but he cannot let sin into his presence.
That's why hell exists. It must be dealt with. And right now people are suffering because of their sin. Others are enjoying eternal life because of the righteousness of God in them because they chose Jesus and rejected the world.

Cuz here's the thing, even if you're saved, you need to continue to grow in the Lord. If you're not growing, you're dying. We're not called to be in stagnant water. We need to keep climbing that mountain and growing closer to the Lord.
