Hey there. Hey guys, it's Kimberly with Beijing Girl Budgets and we are here for collabs day. This is my bestie day.
These are the ones I give my shout outs in. Love it. Happy Memorial Day. This is pre-recorded, just FYI. I had to go on and get her done because I was feeling good and I didn't know what the weekend was going to hold like I said yesterday.
So, this is one of two videos that I shot early. Look at me go.
All right, so let's get into this. Have a good time and see how we do. All right, so like I like you know, I have two binders for a collaby day. Um, let's go on and do my ancillary binder. It's a big word, right? For I had too much in the first binder, I had to spill it over to another binder. So, this is my collab that I'm actually a part of. And this is Mary uh Marbel. This is Nurelli at Nurella's Budgets. She has this 12 months of savings in 2026 and we are saving down the month. I think we finished May, so we are actually going to move on to June and get a little ahead. Just a little, just a little bit.
Just a little bit. Um, so there are two challenges in here actually. So besides Mbel, I also have a challenge called Pandas All Year Long. It's from Chaos Budgeting. Miss Ashley, I absolutely love her. She is one of my one of my people, you know what I mean? my village. She's one of my people. And so I absolutely love these challenges that she made. They're cute little pandas for all the years. This has hibiscus, so it's winning in my book. There's a bunch of scratch offs. And each one of them comes to $50. So each month there's a different scratch off and I save $50. So for Panda Day, for the Panda challenge, sorry. I am saving that for retirement.
So all $50 each month is going towards retirement. And then each pocket has um a set of three minis in it. each budgeter that was assigned a month. So I was January, but so you can go find mine on my Kofhei, but you can find everybody's on their on their freebie site, whatever they use. Um, so Nory was assigned June and so these are her three challenges. So we're actually going to kick this off today just to get a little bit ahead, like one I think the first is on Sunday. And just FYI, if you didn't know, now you'll know. It's my birthday on June 1st. First, I am super excited for the most part. I'm just not where I used am. I'm not used to feeling this way in life and so I'm not all that keen on celebrating my birthday. It's funny.
I just got off the phone with a friend.

Because she just knows when my birthday is up. We don't miss it. We don't miss an opportunity to get out of dodge and have some fun. I just don't feel it this year, y'all. I don't know why. Well, I know why. And I'm trying to fake the funk. You know my thing. Fake it till you make it. But I'm having a hard time, y'all. I'm having a hard time. So, anyway, $4 there and one. So, $5 to kick off. This has a bunch of scratchers.

All right. So, let's move into our beast mode binder. And I have a note here because I don't want to forget um a couple things. One, um in this binder, it is super exciting and like super festive. So, this is collaborations and best of friends. I have this on my Kofi as a freebie if you're looking for is is it a freebie? I don't know. Or lowinccome dashboard if you're looking for one. It's on my freebie. It's on my Kofi. Um but anyh who, uh first things first, we're actually coming back here to our little mermaid because Oh, because we have an IOU. It was on major budgets, so I didn't mean to pull it off. Um, we did something last week and we're going to do it again, but I don't want to spend the money. So, $27 is what we had a I owe you for. So, I have it here and I'm going to stick it in here.
I just don't want to forget and spend it. Like, that's why it was in the front of the tray and all that jazz. So, it's in there. We did it. We We'll get I'll tell you what it was later. I'll show you. But, at least that's paid. That's what I wanted to make sure. All right.

It is the holiday, so I know you're probably not sitting up here just being like, "What are we going to do now? Let's watch this all day long." So, remember there was one that I couldn't for the life of me remember who um uh got eliminated. So, I found out did some research. I know who it is. It is Jenny from Simply Living Saves. She got eliminated like three weeks ago. So, I'm finally updating all of that. So, that is done. And so, let's talk about last week or this week. Well, what you're watching it on Monday. This would have been last week. So, last week's elimination, it was hard for Maddie because technically when she rolled the dice, it was um who who got eliminated?
Somebody over here. Oh, Ashley. Ashley from Ford Dizzy Birds got eliminated.
However, don't mark it off. However, an from Angeim Budgets, one of the main rules that Maddie has put, she didn't put too many rules, but she did put a few. One of the rules is you have to post your video. If you don't post your video, you're automatically eliminated, right? Like everybody else is putting in the work. You have to, too. And and things happen. We get that. This is a half a yearong challenge. So, it's going to it's bound to happen. But if it happens, unfortunately, you do get eliminated. So an from an budget and debt couldn't get it out in time and so she got eliminated by default. So Steph from saf savvy girl saves and Joe from Joe CBA mom saves are the last two people left on team three which is team Stephanie. So everybody from my team is out. So I don't even know who I'm rooting for at this point. It's just I just need to know who wins just so I can give them props for making it all the way through this. So anyway, that's what ends up on our ledger here. I failed last week. I'm already out, so it doesn't even matter, but I did fail um Becca's Becca Budget 777's challenge last week. Boo. So we are in week 21.
And so we are ironically doing and and budget and debts challenge this week. So this is it. And the way that you do this is it's break the code. So you are rolling three dice and recording the numbers. I'm using a D6. Um, yeah, we're going to use a D6. I'm just going to put it over here so you can see it. And let's get to town. Um, so you have to make your code first. And so it says, record the numbers of your code. So my code is six, six, and six. Stop it. That's so negative. And I don't even know if I want that. I don't know about this. 666, y'all. I'm not comfortable. I kind of want to do it again, but we're going to go with it. We're going to go with it.
So, we got So, we have to do each one of these boxes, and you have to make you have to get this code twice to not be eliminated. So, let me just make sure I'm reading this properly. This is a master combination to your safe to collect the survival gear. You must match the code of the chests, the little chest to the master chest. Don't forget to follow the rule in order to not to get eliminated. If you do, if you break the code two times, save $2. If you get eliminated, save $5. All right. So, we have to get 666. Oh, I hate that. Okay.

I think we have $300 now. 50 70 80 90 100. Yay. So, $300 going into month ahead. So, like I said, we're slow rolling our savings for a month ahead just because we put pause on it. Any money we have, we're putting we're not putting towards savings like that. We are putting towards our debt payment. So, you got to get rid of the debt. Does it make sense to save money when you can pay off the debt? Cuz what I'm acrewing in interest on my debt is way higher than anything I'll get for my savings on, you know, the other way around. So, anyway, so next up is Savings Creations Co. with self-care.
And we are going to go on and save this puppy dog in the bath. I love it. He's worth 10 dwellas. He goes up here.

How much we have to save, but that's okay. Next up is this new one that I put in here. This is from Regina Wright. We're gonna be a blessing and give her son is having open heart surgery um in June. So essentially this month and we want to make sure that we can help them any kind of way. She created this challenge that's available on her Kofhei. All of the purchase goes to proceeds goes to um his recovery and helping to help him mend his way back, you know. So it's going to be hard for them, but she needs all the financial help she can get. So she created this.
So, go get this is what I'm trying to say. Um, and then what I'm doing is saving on it. And whatever I save, I will donate to her. So, I'm pretty stoked about it. So, let's go on and do a roll and save on this guy. We're going to do actually it's going to be a roll and save with a d6 always.
