Dressing up a sporting crisis in corporate buzzwords is a futile attempt to find logic in a cycle of failure. Itโs a textbook example of how intellectualizing mediocrity only highlights the lack of actual results.

This is a nightmare...Added:
If you haven't already, guys, if you haven't already, get out of London. Get out of London. I've seen enough after yesterday, mate. It is going to be horrific. It is going to be horrific the amount of them that are going to be >> woring their way around London. We've already seen it. We're on the way back from Stanford Bridge last night and we saw cars with Arsenal flags waving out in West London.
>> Mate, it is going to be insufferable.
Insuff. It already is. It already is.
Just seeing them lot partying on the streets till 5, six in the morning and we're fighting relegation. It's just embarrassing, man.
>> You know when people say, "Oh, if they win the league, it's going to be unbearable." It really like lived up to that.
>> It's really been unbearable.
>> This is just the beginning.
>> They haven't even lifted the trophy yet.
>> You know what I mean? They confirmed it yesterday. They confirmed the Premier League title, but the worst is yet to come. I'm telling you guys, 31st is the Champions League final. Well, the 31st will be their parade. 31st of May. If you guys just lock yourselves in your houses, do not come out of your houses for those of you living in London because this is going to be the worst day. You're going to have Arsenal fans everywhere swarming around London. If you had a look at our parade, we had a lot of people at our parade. You ain't seen nothing when you seen the this Arsenal fan base is massive. And yeah, just don't come out your houses, guys. It's not going to be good for you.
Just stay at home.
Yeah, you're going to have to quarantine. Everyone's going to have to quarantine during this Arsenal uh parade because especially if they win the Champions League as well. Like, oh my god, I don't even want to think about that.
>> Let's cross that bridge when they come to the cross that bridge.
>> That's just the icing on the cake for them though if if they win the Champions League because they've only won the Premier League 22 years away.
>> Well, you know what? But we've seen them win the Premier League. We've never seen them win the Champions League. I can't I that's something that we can't we can't accept. We can't I can't have them win the Champions League as well. Premier League, it is what it is. They deserve it.
>> Let them have their day on the 31st.
Yeah. Just >> don't come out your houses. It's going to be awful. I know we're we're not going to be in the studio that day. I'm locking myself in. I I am not coming out anywhere. I'm telling you, anywhere in London is going to be swamped. Is going to be swamped. So stay away.
And as I said, dark dark days.
Yesterday, >> these are dark days.
>> Yesterday was a dark dark day.
>> But you know what? But you know what?
There are lessons to be learned from what we're seeing.
>> Massively. These these lessons should have been learned a long time.
>> Don't get me wrong, but you know, these are not for us, but as a club. Arsenal were where we were not so long ago. Not maybe this bad, but they were in the wilderness. They were mid-table. They were struggling. They were being >> laugh to be in mid- table right now.
>> Yeah, don't get me wrong. That's fine.
But I'm just saying we were we were close to them. We we were close to each other not so long ago. Uh and we were all of a sudden Tottenham were coming up. We're having all these revenue streams. cuz all of a sudden you're looking at the money tables and we're above Arsenal and Arsenal, you know, struggling to get into Europe some years, struggling to get into Europa League and all of a sudden Tottenham are, you know, regular Champions League uh team, you know, and you're thinking, okay, we're we're on a level playing field and you know, you look at the difference now are some reports saying, you know, if Arsenal win the league and Champions League, they could be the richest club in the world all of a sudden. And there's lessons to be learned because what have Arsenal done that we haven't? What's the big difference? They've stuck with something and they focused on the football. That has been their number one. I don't I don't see Arsenal executives coming out saying we're looking beyond the football. We're we're becoming a global brand. You know, we're this is what we're focused on. Even if Tottenham don't do well, we're still securing our finances. All this kind of stuff. Maybe they're obviously doing that behind the scenes, but from the face of it, what is the number one thing coming out of Arsenal every single year? How can we improve? What needs fixing on this football team? What what can we do that's better? You know, we've got Ramsdale. How can we improve on on that?
We've got center midfielders. Okay, who's a, you know, who can we get who's the best in class? Let's get Declan Rice this summer. They just finished second, right? Do they rest on their laurels and think they they last summer and think uh they can go again with a similar team?
No. You know what? We have Saka who's one of the best wingers in the league, but let's give them some help. Let's get Mad in there. We have Odigard, one of the best best 10s in the league. Let's give him some help. Let's get EZ in there. We need another striker. Let's get Jockarez big money signing th that has been the focus of Arsenal especially since Artet has been there but for the last you know five six years the number one focus Arsenal is how can we improve the football the football has taken the Preston the football has been the number one focus at that club for the last six seven years and it's no surprise that you have the investment you focus on improving the team and you have good quality which they do and look where they are they're now winning the league in a Champions League final. What did we do when we were in a Champions League final and we win a title challenge? What did we do? We said, "Well, we have Harry Kane, so no need to sign a good striker. We have Delhi Ali, so no need to sign another number 10. We have Sonnie, we don't need to sign another winger. We have one and Demellle, we don't need to sign another midfielder. We have Toby and Yan, we don't need to sign a defender." They the the the difference is night and day. And all we had to do was make sure we're focusing on improving every single year and being that our number one thing. We got distracted by concerts and NFL and Peppa Pig and all this bollocks, right?
And and yes, we increased our revenue streams and yes, we increased our um the all all the money we were making. But what >> fantastic app though, >> we have an amazing app. Incrazing seat uh street to seat uh companion app. It's it's something like you've never seen.
>> I felt safer getting to my seat at the Tottenham Hotspad than I feel now. Got to give them credit. And there's a and I think Tottenham I have to look at what over there because they they were struggling and there was even talk they were going to struggle with FFP and all this kind of stuff. Arsenal they there was all this like you know talk when they were not doing so well about financial. But what do they do? Did they say okay we're not going to spend? Did they do they do all that? No. They doubled down. They made sure they invested properly. They concentrated on the football and now they're absolutely flying. And you know with Pep gone who knows what's going to be the future for them. We'll have to wait and see. But that they've been let's let's be honest they've been second for three years in a row. They've been up there. They got to a semi-final of the Champions League last year. So this has been coming. This has been coming and they didn't let up.
They this has been coming every year and they didn't stop. And so we have to look at that situation and take the right lessons and think why the hell did we not do that when we were on top? When we had a position of strength, when we were battling for titles, when we had unbelievable players, we we wrestled on our rules and we just thought we had a good squad. So let's let's leave it at that. But we didn't continue to invest.
We didn't continue to improve and we stopped thinking about the football. And that was where we were wrong.
>> Is right. When we had Jose Mourinho, we weren't even in our best moment. But Lee Judges came out on AFTV and he goes, "They are everything that we're not."
>> Now it's the opposite. They are everything that we're not.
>> Absolutely.
>> They are literally everything. the the the daylight or the gap between Spurs and Arsenal now is probably the biggest that it's ever been in in recent times.
You know, even when they were undefeated, I felt the gap was smaller than it is now. Like, and and that was a big gap, don't get me wrong. That was a very big gap. But right now, you're looking at a team that could go down on the last day and Arsenal are going to be lifting the Premier League title on the last day. The gap is as big as it's ever been between these two clubs in in uh South and North London. It's ridiculous.
And it should never be like that with the revenues that Spurs make.
>> It should never be like that. Spurs should be up there competing. And that is an indictment on the way that this club is run. That is an indictment on the decisions that they make every single year. That is a indictment of everything to do with this football club. And Enoch have blood on their hands for letting it get here. They do.
They are We are the most poorly run club in the Premier League and we are one of the richest clubs in the Premier League.
How does that even make sense? We've got more money than cents. We've got more money than cents. Like you say, when we were in that position, finishing second and third, the narrative coming out of this football club was saying, >> "We don't need to sign anyone. Our team's good enough." You know, >> it's impossible to get anyone better than we >> It's impossible to get anyone uh to to get into this squad that that will make us better. Like, what sort of attitude is that? Seriously, you look at every other serious club, whether it be Arsenal, whether it be Man City, whether it be Manu back with Alex Bergen, whether it be Chelsea back in their prime uh 15 years ago, whenever it was, they always replenished their squad.
They were always looking for better.
They were always looking for more.
Spurs, instead of the motto saying to dare is to do, to dare is to rest on your laurels. That's what we do. All we do is rest on our laurels. When we're on to a good thing, we say, "All right, that's enough from it. That's enough from us. we'll just rest on this and we'll go backwards. Now, that's all Tottenham do.
>> Enoch have blood on their hands for why where we're at right now. And to see at the point of where we were in title races in Champions League final, we were ahead of Arsenal. And now there has never been a bigger gap between the two clubs. And that is all on Eno, no one else.
>> Yeah. So, look, it's going to hurt us fans more than it's going to hurt Eno watching Arsenal lift that title and win a Premier League and win trophies and compete for the high the larger things.
And that's that's the most frustrating thing about it. We're the ones who are going to suffer for it more than the club and enic because they're still going to pay their dividends and they're still going to, you know, uh they're not going to be hurt by the rivalry as much as we are. But I hope they learn the lessons and look over of what's going on over there and think why aren't we there? Why aren't we in that position?
Why are we battling for relegation while Arsenal were challenging for the title and we spent if you look at the net spend with our and our revenue streams we we have bigger revenues and we um spend similar amount of money to them.
So I really hope they take a long hard look at themselves look in the mirror and to see why it's gone so wrong and how can we do something similar to them because they've really shhat the bed in where we are right now. They've I really hope they they look at themselves and say look we can't do this. we're just not equipped for the job because we're we're not capable of taking a club as big as Ton Hartsburg to where we want to where they want to go and where they want to compete. I hope that's including their lead, but if it's not, I really hope they somehow look at what's gone on at Arsenal and think and ask themselves some really hard questions and let's hope that this is the last time we're ever in a situation like this again.
>> Absolutely. It's just it's sh being a Spurs fan right now.
>> Absolutely. Look, we feel everyone. And I'm sure there's a lot of people in the comments and a lot of people out there who not happy right now. Very sad. Well, I understand this. A lot of people say, "I don't care what Arsel do blah blah blah." At the end of the day, they are your big are our biggest rivals and they're winning the Premier League and that's not easy to take. But that's just what we got to accept. It is what it is.
We've got ourselves in the situation we are now and that's got to be the full focus going into Sunday. But we're going to have to also watch them win the league >> and that's it. Look, it's going to be a very hard few weeks um as a Spurs fan, seeing them lift the title, seeing us fight for relegation last day of the window, watching that Champions League final one unfur, watching their parade, and just being in and around London, seeing the Arsenal shirts everywhere.
It's going to be insufferable. It's going to be insufferable. So, just check in on all your Spurs fan friends, man.
Just check in on everyone because it's going to be awful. And I'm sure uh a lot of people's mental health is going to suffer as is mine. So uh >> but for now everyone checking on everyone everyone's doing all right.
>> For now the only thing that matters is Tottenham and staying up and that's just got to be our full focus.
>> We got to be a Premier League team for next season and as long that happens the future will sort itself out.
>> Yeah. Let's hope in a good way. But um yeah, look, let's move on from that monstrosity.
