Successful reselling involves identifying undervalued items in charity shops by recognizing brand value, vintage appeal, and market demand, then selling them on platforms like Vinted or eBay for profit. The video demonstrates this through examples such as a £1 Volcom short selling for £15-20, a £1.50 Sputnik door hanger selling within 24 hours, and a £4 Reiss t-shirt worth £12-15, showing how strategic sourcing and market awareness can transform thrift store finds into profitable inventory.

Hot weather and bargains from the charity shopsAdded:
Good morning.
I'm in the garden cuz it's too nice to sit inside.
Mom and dad are doing some gardening work. Their choice.
So, yeah. I don't know what to do today.
I'm just kind of like being a bit lazy.
And I don't care cuz it's bank holiday weekend.
What a day. What a day. I think what I might do though I might have a trip to the uh unit and pick up some orders, do them.
And I might nip into the charity shop cuz I need to go to the shop uh before it shuts. Something about warm weather that just kind of zaps all your energy, doesn't it? It's like Oh, I just want to be lazy and eat ice cream and just chill at the beach. It's such a beach day. There's not a cloud in the sky.
It is toasty in here.
>> [laughter] >> Yeah, really, really hot. Like these are boiling. I'm touching them like, "Oh."
So, yeah. I'm back at the unit picking up some orders.
Feeling wind swept cuz I've had the window down and been like, "Yeah."
>> [laughter] >> Right.
What's this one for? A half. Found it.
Hugo Boss sold for £19 and 12p.
So, this has sold for £16.50.
And this, just walked past it, this has sold for £23.50.
And I only paid a pound for it the other day. Woo.
Hello. Back post down. Back post down.
Okay.
This Manchester City jacket, top zip thing, um that has sold for £22.50.
Uh that I sent an offer out on that, and they accepted.
Incidentally, this Manchester United hat that has sold for Let's get it up. Uh £17.80.
These John Banner jeans Uh is it Banner or Bonner? It's Banner.
Uh they have sold for £15.50.
Okay.
There's one monster truck.
Ah, there is.
Found it. Two monster trucks. [music] They have sold for £13.50.
This Totally Angelica PlayStation 1 game has sold in vintage for £8.
I was passing, so I thought, "Why not?
I'm going to be a reseller ninja and just dip in and [music] out, see what I can get."
Why does crushed velvet always make me feel like like late '90s pop star?
Is it just me?
>> Spotted this Liberties of London and was 17 out 35. A rare fail for this charity shop.
So, I love being the reseller opportunist and just, you know, hitting the charity shops. Just a couple of my locals. Like when I go to the shop, that's basically where a lot of my content comes from. But, sometimes it can yield nothing. Other times, it can yield some pretty good stuff.
So, I got this. It's a Sputnik atomic kind of style door hanger and it was £1.50. Hmm.
What's weird is I got a one similar to this but with wooden little discs and I thought it was a really good brand. Um but it wasn't. It was like a B&M special. Anyway, I put it on Vinted and like within 24 hours it sold.
It's like, what? Just for a quid. I mean, I think I paid a pound for it. But yeah, this one isn't. It's worth between Well, I don't know. I've seen 15 and 20.
Uh but for £1.50.
These are all bric-a-brac.
Uh this one isn't though.
But it's from the same shop. She basically said, "This isn't bric-a-brac so it can't be half price even though it was on the shelf." So, this it's been done under books.
Uh and it's a vintage Walt Disney World um memories. It's like a photo album.
And you know it's vintage when they put it in 2001.
Uh yeah, but it's nice. I mean, it's got the thing like in it. That's all. But it's still got the pan.
Original pan.
Which is nice. It's just a bit different.
Uh and then yeah, so that I paid full price for, £2. But the other three things I paid half price. So these were all a pound each.
Mini lampshades.
Two mini lampshades. And these have got like dangly bits on them as well. I actually sold some gold ones of these.
Um I think they're like 20 quid. Great.
But yeah, these are like the little red ones. The closest one I can find to that one is actually listed or sold for like 20 quid. But it'd be I was looking around for a second one because they usually go well in pairs, usually you know, six slots like that. But I'm addicted to mini lampshades. I love them.
But certain charity shops know what they've got. I like the charity shops where they have like, say, six and they say £5 for the lot. I'm like, yes.
Um but yeah.
I got a big bag of uh Paw Patrol for £3.
And it's got two full sets.
It's got a full set of these Paw Missions.
These have these little things where like they clip in and you press a button.
And each one has their little thing. But um listed price, someone's bought them for £26. I don't know why. Uh but yeah, maybe 20 quid, maybe 15, I don't know.
And then there's another like set in the bottom, a miniature set. But there's loads in there, there's loads.
So pretty sure my money's safe. Plus I've got a load of Paw Patrol kind of like stray bits in these boxes, so I can just bundle them up.
I'll be happy. Um and I got these from Barnardos, these Volcom shorts.
Pretty nice. I quite like Volcom stuff actually. I mean, I know it's like a TK Maxx brand, but I do kind of like it.
Uh they're only £4 and they go for anywhere between 15 and 20, so that's good.
Uh what kind of a bum buy. I got this Reiss top. It's a It's a double XL though.
It's 4.50, but it's just a t-shirt. It's just a nice t-shirt.
I like the olivey khaki kind of stuff.
So, yeah, 4.50, bit of an idiot. I don't know why I paid that much for Reiss t-shirt.
Um, I don't know.
12 to 15 maybe. Stupid, I can't believe it. I think I picked it up or picked them up and then I kind of got lost in these and then I forgot to put it back.
I don't know. I don't usually pick up Reiss basic stuff. It's got to be something special.
Uh, anyhow, so that's everything, but I love an opportunist little chasm mooch.
Goody.
Yeah. You going to get down?
Come on down.
He doesn't want to. He's like, "No."
Used to hear I used to hear I used Something strange about a bank holiday weekend where the Monday or the Friday is always like It's a day where particularly if it's a hot day, feels like a place out of time.
You know what I mean? Like you There's no you you're meant to like rest or like do nothing or I don't know.
Yeah, but cuz you're in that kind of productive mindset, you can't fully enjoy it, but Oh, it's so nice today.
>> [laughter] >> It is, isn't it, bud? Yes.
Yes, should we go for a walk? Should we go for walkies?
You know that. He knows that. Yeah.
Yes.
So, I'm going to love you and leave you, but thank you everybody for sticking around. Please remember to like and subscribe, and I'll see you all next time. Bye-bye.
