We are looking at people at their love and their terror and their attempts to make sense of death. The sealed tomb turns out to be a mirror reflecting our own anxieties back at us. And so we are left with the question, these graves were built to answer. The oldest question there is what exactly is it that we fear when we close the earth over someone we have lost?
