TARGET JUST DISCONTINUED ALL THESE DARTS本站添加:
Hello and welcome back. A little bit of bad news for you. Target are discontinuing quite a lot of darts and we're going to be going through some of the ones that are getting discontinued in this video, what it might mean for you if you wanted these darts, maybe where you could pick up a bargain, and maybe some that are worth investing in.
And maybe some of the reasons why some are being discontinued because I think for some it's different reasons. But there are definitely some shocks in there. We did say a few months ago with the increased price of tungsten we may see some things get discontinued. Some things have only just come out and have been a bit of a shock to me. So let's settle in, hit that subscribe button, and go through what's been discontinued.
So let's start with some accessories that they're getting rid of. To start with, they're getting rid, don't worry it's not just Shaggy.
It is all of these player K flights, the Buntings, the Rocks, the Barneys, the Dobys. I'm presuming they'll keep Littler. Not too sure on that about Littler, but I think the rest of them will go. All of these ones that were black with the players things on.
They only came out in number two as well, which I always did find a little bit strange actually because number six is so popular as well. I'm presuming number two is more popular. I'm a number six guy.
So they're going. Now this one really shocked me. Dimitri Van den Bergh 95 K's are being discontinued in 22 g. So if you wanted a 22 g set of Dimitri Van den Bergh 95 K's, it may be worth trying to pick a set up.
And they are actually on offer at Double Top Darts for £111, which yes, is still more expensive than when they originally came out. Don't shoot the messenger. Currently nothing to suggest that they'll be discontinuing the full range of these, so that they will still be available in the other weights, which is good because these are a lovely dart. We're going to take a closer look at the ones that they are completely discontinuing as well, guys, so you get a good look at them. Dimi 95 K's 22 g gone. You will still be able to get them in a lot of shops because, you know, there will be stock left that they'll be selling to shops, etc. And you may be able to pick up a bargain.
Now, this one was a little bit shocking at first and a little bit sad, really, but then when I thought about it, it's probably understandable. The Target Elysian 01, the 02, the 03 have been discontinued completely as far as I'm aware. First released in 2024 in the September big hitters launch, it was the first time that I'd got one of these tinned set of darts, which I absolutely love, by the way. You get the tin, an extra set of flights, you've got a spare set of points, you've got a premium Swiss point key, and the darts were just absolutely beautiful and great to look at. I cannot remember if they were 120 or 130. I think they were 120 pounds, 119.95 when they came out.
Now, at 179.95, and I believe that is probably why they're getting discontinued. I cannot imagine that they sell anywhere near as many of them darts now that they're a 60 pounds more than they originally were.
It's a big jump. We said it would happen with the tungsten increased prices. It will definitely stop a lot of people buying darts. 100% less people will buy darts. People say, "Oh, the manufacturers don't make more money."
They won't. They will make less money now the prices are higher. Shops will suffer now the prices are higher. 100% people will buy less.
Three models of the Target Elysian going, I must admit, absolutely stunning dart. I'll probably do some deeper videos on these down the line because they are really, really nice, exceptional. Obviously, the cuts and everything, they were based on a previous Elysian dart, which would be good to get that in the video as well cuz I've got them over there. It's going to be sad to see them go, but like I said, I can't I just can't see many of them shifting. They always seem like a really nice collectible dart rather than a throwing dart. And at 180 pound, that makes things even more difficult. So, this one really, really, really shocked me. And these are the latest Barney darts. These are the Barney generation 6. Again, these came in the tin.
They came with a special Barney K flex.
We'll have a good look at the barrel in a second. Again, you've got a premium Swiss point key, extra set of points.
So, why have these been discontinued?
Well, again, I think it's due to the price increase. Maybe they've not been as popular as they expect. The shape of the dart definitely changed a little bit from some of his previous model. It went back to more like the Gen 2. Me Me personally, this is probably one of my least favorite Barney darts. I was really looking forward to it coming out because I got on so well with Barney 25s, with the Barney Echoes, with the Gen 4s.
But, I just didn't really get on with these. The price increases have obviously not helped anything and anybody.
But, I do think like having these darts These would have maybe been more suited to a release that's not absolutely jam-packed like September was.
I wonder if these maybe came out in January with the Chris Dobey's and the Buntings.
That there would maybe be more of an option for people or with in December with the Asp 95 K's. A dart like this what's already in a jam-packed launch, I'm just thinking would people maybe prefer to get a set of Red 5s, a set of Hydros, an accessory all for the price of this set. If these maybe came out as the highlight of a launch in a smaller launch, would they sell better? I'm not sure. I'm not sure.
I'm not like a a chief marketer. I'm just trying to think. Sometimes, these big launches have so much that you think, "Right, I can't afford to buy everything. I'm going to get what I can, what I want from this launch." And then, maybe down the line, another launch comes out and they'll get forgotten about. I don't know. Just That's just me thinking and giving my opinion.
So, here we go. These are the Barney's.
Not that Not that grippy in this section here. This middle knurling, very grippy.
And this front section, very grippy.
For me, couldn't get on with them. My brother, he gets on He gets on with them really well. Again though, I absolutely love this type of box. I really like it. But, at 180 lb, it's a lot of money. For 180 lb, it needs to be exceptional. Again, another box set. And these are the latest Phil Taylor darts. Only came out last September, same as the Barney's.
And I think they've suffered I think again they've suffered with the price increase. Again, just short of 180 lb now. And these are not typically a super easy dart to throw.
Because you've got that Quattro grip at the back. These are a stunning dart, by the way. I really like these. And I think 120, 130 lb when they came out, people would buy this as a little bit of a collector's, maybe a little bit of a showpiece. At 180, that wipes a lot of people out. So, again, another sufferer of the price increase. I'm going to get these through on the Will It 180 channel. It's my second channel, by the way. Most days I post on there throwing a different set of darts for 30 minutes, completely uncut footage trying to hit a 180. Most days we don't do it, but some we do. Whilst we're on, I do want to talk about this thing here. This is the holy syrup bottle. And I got this as part of the starter pack, which I'm going to show you what you get with that in a minute, because it's an absolute game changer. Basically, this is full of water with a syrup bottle in here, which I'm going to show you what they sell separately. And you get some in your starter pack. I've got it quite full here, but your syrup goes in there like that, just clicks in. And then it has a dial here, which you you turn the flavor up and down. So, I've always liked like strong juice, etc. things like strong flavors. So, I have mine on four or five, but a lot of my friends have theirs on one or two. The missus, she has hers on three. And then you just give it a good suck.
And a lot of people, which I do want to say thank you, have been noticing the weight loss. And one of the things for me, it is drinking so much water instead of crappy fizzy pop full of sugar. And the syrup pods are super super low calorie, full of goodness. The absolute genius move from Holy that's got me hooked is in the starter pack with your bottle.
You get a 10-pack of syrup pods, 10 completely different flavors. And the reason why it's genius is probably seven of those flavors >> [music] >> I'd have never picked out and I'd have never wanted to try. And I'm going to be totally honest with you, I loved nine flavors. So, you can get your starter bottle and your starter pack with 10 completely different flavors. But once you know your favorite flavors, you can order them in three pack. And if you want any Holy products, there's a link in the description and in the comment section. And you can save money using my code either Murphy for 10% off or Murphy 5 for £5 off. Back to darts and we have another casualty for Raymond van Barneveld, RVB. As we say goodbye to his Kronos, a fantastic set of darts, but again, they're just expensive. And I think everyone who's probably wanted these darts probably got them by now.
These did come out in September 2024 with the big hitters. Absolutely stunning, very grippy. Barney used these for a long time. I I did hear a rumor that these weren't originally designed for Barney, but he got on with them so well they became a Barney dart, etc. They are certainly a collector's piece, but more than throwable as well. Really really nice dart. They come in one of those nice open out boxes. You get a case. You get spare flights. Really really nice dart. They were a little bit too grippy out of the box for me personally. His Echoes and his 25s were my personal favorites. Forgive the setup on these, it's not exactly the same, but the Scott Williams Generation 1s, I don't know if it's the full range of it, some weights, but some of them are going.
Does make sense because we have his Generation 2s, and we do have his blacks. I don't know if they're getting discontinued or if they already have been. I'm pretty sure his Gen 1s are going. This set will 100% be a sought-after dart in the future, and these are the Keanu Barrie Generation 1 Pixel darts. They are being discontinued, currently on sale at Double Top for 111. Still more than the original price, but these were 140 quid, and Keanu Barrie's been using Generation 2 darts now for quite a while. So, that could be why we're seeing these go.
These are also non-Swiss pointed. Very popular and sought-after dart already. I do think these will be one that if you can get a set, tuck them away, [music] you'll be able to earn a few quid down the line. Same goes with these, maybe not quite as much in the fact that the Pixel, etc., are more collectible, but the Phil Taylor, some people will collect a lot of Phil Taylor darts.
These are his Generation 11s. I love these on the grips. So, probably Phil's last proper playing set of darts. That's probably worth noting down, steel tip, anyway.
So, could these maybe worth a pretty penny in the future? I'm not sure. I'm not sure. But, they're being discontinued as well. Again, with super high priced darts, we've got the 975s.
These are super, super grippy. I've done a full unboxing of these on the channel before. One of my first big videos, it cost me like 5, 600 quid. I bought these. The other 975s have been discontinued since, which went on sale at Target. They were sold at They were getting sold at around 120 pounds, which now is an [music] absolute steal. Also, the Balaik K-Flex and the Game On K-Flex from the most recent launch are going as well, which bit of a surprise, that one.
Me, personally, I'd like to see some gradient K-Flexes, some different colors. I prefer them to like the ones with the Game On ones. They weren't really for me. We'll will no doubt be more that I have missed off this list and there'll be ones that I maybe don't know about. Different shops will do different things with this stock that they get. Some will get it and they'll sell it cheaper. Like for instance, I know St. Helens Dart Shop, they buy as much as they can on the cheap when it's offered cheaper and they put it on their bargain wall. And the reason they do that is it gets more people in, it gives people a really good deal. They're a bigger shop, they can maybe do it. What I will say is it's really worth shopping around. Check your local dart shops because you might find a bargain. I do have a video coming out on St. Helens Dart Shop very soon. I went and filmed there a few weeks ago and they have a bargain wall.
Um in particular, they have a £35 section with loads in there, tungsten darts at 35 quid. Some that have come down from over 70-80 pounds, which is really, really good. I have been told that they're going to be putting some non-Swiss pointed Aspinal Gen 1s there very soon, which is an absolute bargain for them darts, which again, [music] they won't make much money on them, but that brings people into the shop. You might buy some K-Flex whilst you're there, you might buy some points. Double Top will be running quite a lot of offers, but loads of other places will as well. I'll put I'll put my affiliate links in the description of the video and don't forget the offer on the Holy.
I'll be honest, I've got to the end of the video and I did plan on showing you the darts like a little bit closer, maybe putting them in the light box, but I'm absolutely red hot and I wanted to get I would do want to get this video out for you tomorrow. It's the Thursday night now I'm recording this.
Trying to be as quick on it as I can, really. But guys, thank you for watching. I will see you in the next one and we've got some quality vids next week, especially the St. Helens Dart Shop ones. So, stay tuned for that. Hit that subscribe button if you enjoyed what you've seen. Thank you and good night.
