Space Industry Is On Fire 🚀🚀🔥🔥🔥

[00:00:01]All right, Joe, welcome back. Another week. We're almost at the end of the week here. It's the Thursday, May 28th at the time of this recording, but we got a couple of things that we want to discuss uh here. So, first one, we're going to talk about what's going on with a lot of these space names. These have been gigantic high-f flyers. We got the SpaceX IPO coming up in just a couple of weeks. You talked about a halo effect that we both agreed was going to happen, and lo and behold, Joe, it's happening.

[00:00:28]So that that has worked out quite nicely. I've got Rocket Lab here on the screen and I started with Rocket Lab because this is a really good example about how much this entire sector has run here. You're look the purple line there is the 9-day simple moving average and you can see how extended we are from that. The 50-day is the yellow line that's at 65 and a half. The stock is 150 bucks almost. So, we are more than double what the 50-day moving average is just to give you an idea of how much some of these have run with everything that's going on. Now, there's a lot of momentum in this. So, as far as trading goes, probably have to be very careful if you're trading these is seeing a pullback here would be quite normal, frankly. But, this is kind of a really good example of what's going on in all of this. Now, I want to dive in a little bit more um Joe to the whole SpaceX IPO here. We talked about the halo effect um in one of our last videos. We're seeing that raise the tide for a lot of these other plays. The IPO is June 12th. What else do we need to know leading into that IPO?

[00:01:33]>> Well, we could continue to see uh more of this halo effect uh leading into that IPO. The company SpaceX does go on their road show the week of June 8th. That leads into the IPO date of June 12th.

[00:01:45]So, uh there may be a lot of uh uh more upside in these phase names, but I would not uh be without anticipating a pullback in some of these. As you can see here from Rocket Lab, it's been a rocket. And uh all rockets do eventually uh come back down to Earth. This one's going to have to come back in, but I don't think it's going to be finished. I think we'll continue to see some more of these. Uh this is just one of them. Uh I think another one that we should be keeping our our eye on is uh Vell 3D Systems. That's ticker V E L O. Uh this is one of the ones that I really liked a lot. Uh I'm an owner of this one. It's uh broken out of its downtrend that it briefly had going from uh the beginning of the year into uh the the spring. Uh now it's uh gone with the the rest of the the space names. Of course, we also had that Starship um uh test flight 12 uh last week that also get gave a lift to some of these other uh space names.

[00:02:42]That Starship launch was made possible by this company because Vevel 3D Systems provides the 3D printed parts uh for those Raptor 3 uh rocket engines. So, uh very important company in for SpaceX as well.

[00:02:57]>> Yeah. And and full disclosure here, I own a little bit of L2. We talked about this before its earnings before it made a huge move here. Sold some at 20 riding the rest here. But this has been great.

[00:03:07]I love the angle there. You talked about uh 3D printing SpaceX parts. It's also got a deal with Andre, so it's making parts for that as well. So, I mean, this thing's just got a lot of good things going for it. Again, though, as the point that you were just making, these things have kind of run. So, if you like any of these for a long term, probably better off waiting for a pullback to a support area. If you're going to trade some of them because this is where the momentum is, just make sure you have your risk at the forefront of your mind uh here. But this is this is really good. Now, there's another one that we did. You have something in there?

[00:03:38]>> Yeah. Yeah. There's another company that's also both in the space and uh drone theme because as you know Andrew does make drones and they make a lot of other military equipment but uh Ve is a a strategic partner for uh with Andrew but uh Cooler is also a u has a big presence in the space and the drone uh theme because they uh make battery thermal management systems and uh those those are going to be used for drones and they're also going to be used in uh They're already being currently used in satellites and uh they're going to be used for uh data centers in space. Those are coming, folks. But uh yes, also a uh a drone uh uh thermal management battery play.

[00:04:20]>> And this one we've talked about before, too. It actually does look like this is coming up off the bottom. The charts fairly constructive here with a cross above the 50. We've got a couple of uh this is a weekly chart here. So, we actually have uh a couple of closes above the 50. If I go back to a daily, this is what it looks like. Uh not only have we got above the 50, but we also got above the 200 day moving average.

[00:04:42]And you can see it's actually using the 9 SMA uh as a pretty good move higher here. So just kind of looking at the chart uh here a little bit. I do think there's probably some resistance here about 5 1/2 if we keep going and maybe after that closer to six. So 5 1/2 six some pretty decent resistance here on cooler. We'll see if we end up uh getting up there. But space this thing is hot. There's going to be more of them. What do you think about a sell the news event for SpaceX?

[00:05:10]>> We could end up seeing a uh a sell well the the news would be the IPO. We could see uh selling out of the gate >> uh with uh uh some of those as there are a lot of private investors that are not beholden to uh restricted sales restrictions uh once the SpaceX becomes public. So we could see some exiting
